Looking for a game I saw years ago so details might be slightly wrong.
It was a japanese side-scroller game with either "Magic" or "Witch" in the title, but I think it was Magic. The protagonist was dressed as a purple witch and had spells she could use. I remember the enemies could grab you and H you without it being a game over. One of the enemies was a wasp or something. Similar mechanics to Sonic X : Love Potion Disaster if anyone's played that. It was also maybe voiced, but I don't fully remember either way.
