Side Scroller Platformer.
Multiple Worlds and several Level per World.
Persistent -ish status effects that travel from level to level and with you to the main base section.
Plant that you could grow in your bedroom of the main base.
I only remember a few enemies: Hypnotic Jellyfish, Ceiling pods that dripped Goo, Slugs, Android, and a Flying hypno visor.
Apologies if I'm blind, but I can't seem to find what game it was. Any help appreciated.
Also seeking recommendations on the off chance this whole game was a fever dream.
