if this is considered a finished project by the developer, why is just the demo uploaded?

I want to support them because this is pretty good but why put just the demo when they have stated that they have moved on from this project? On f95 of all places?

They said they're moving on to other things but they're also talking about adding fixes and they've mentioned the "next update" a few times, such as talking about adding openrouter support, so while we're probably not getting much more in the ways of content, we might be getting some bugfixes or touch ups.

I think we're supposed to view as "soft complete."
Like, we're still going to get bug fixes and minor AI features, but don't expect more to be added to the map/gameplay, or even more characters.
Mainly this is because the game has a self-hosted cloud sever for those who can't run it locally, so how much context the player has is very limited in these cases. The dev said if a new model range gets released that it might change, but unless then don't expect much more.

The game allegedly installed the Gemma-2 AI model for me, but was unable to launch it. Where exactly does she download the AI models and how can I delete these useless files?

It's a fun game, though I agree with the first review about the combat. If you look at it outside of the NPC AI Agents then it's a pretty subpar game, but WITH the AI it's a different story.

The game is still being updated by the developer on Itch. Right now it seems they are still working on the foundations in the background, with one recent update laying the groundwork to handle more AI actors in the future. The game is pretty interesting with AI actors, heck looking at the npc memories exporting you can see in the loose memories the AI interacting with each other some even when you aren't around them.

You need an image you want to use for a character, then go to a site like Trellis, dev recommends that one. You upload the image for the character you want to create a sprite for into Trellis and convert it to a GLB file. When you are ingame creating a custom character you upload that GLB file and it will create the movement sprites for you. There is also little arrow buttons you can click if it doesn't set the sprites in the right direction.

If you RP, you can convince the AI to give you a bunch of stuff for free
