Others - Simbro: ResErection [Demo v0.12e] [The Gentle Viking]

The game has been out for 2 years, yet every menu you open, you'll be hit with WIP.

The first mission is to hire a whore, build a room, get a client, and... congrats, you finished the first and apparently only mission doable in the game. Now you can play something else.

Art is ok, that's it, 0 gameplay or content.

It's got the whole nostalgia/remake thing going for it but that's about it. The gameplay is super shallow, the animations are decent enough but after 30 seconds you've seen all there is to see. All in all the game would need a lot more content before I'd bother trying.

This is a demo, and it will stay a demo forever.

Story 5/10

Pretty much the Simbro story, it was terrible.
The dev should think of something else as the original's weak point was the story as well.

Art 7/10

The art is pretty good, boob jiggle looks great!

Gameplay 5/10

Nothing works like it should, the UI is absolutely terrible.
Make the damn buttons permanent.

Amount of Content 4/10

Almost nothing here.

How nostalgic do you have to be to give this anything above one star is beyond me. Updates are few and irrelevant for an h game, and the charm that the old game had is just not here. Just go play the original.

While making game is no easy task, updates are rare and lacking relevance for the time being. Something is off about female faces. Could be the eyes.
That being said, visually the game looks pleasing, music is fitting and cachy, animations are smooth.
I give 3/5 for now. Simbro is a classic, could easly be 5/5 in its genre. Fingers crossed.

It is in process of ui and game play adoption...
What i want to say that you need reasonable amount of content to shape the ui and game play...
It was also the case with the original.

TL;DR: Not bad for a demo, artstyle is different, but not worse. Buggy as one would expect, but nothing game-breaking, functions well for what it is.

+ Re-skinned Simbro in a more modern setting with a bit of a twist on the old graphics, not ground-breaking, but decent
+ Has the groundwork for all the Simbro content to be added later
+ Decent clothes options and appearance options for a demo

- Buggy, some buttons don't do anything, some things just don't work, a bit messy, but nothing gamebreaking
- Limited sexual content
- Still early in the development, and given that this is one of those cursed games, I can't say I'm hopeful

Overall, it seems like it'll be good given time, I've rated it as it is: A demo. If this were a non-demo version I would have given it a 2 at best, but this seems to be an early iteration so I'm treating it as such.

Rating 5 stars just because it plays like Simbro. Hate me if you want, but if I get an exact copy of that game, I would rate it 5 stars just because the original game was just as good. Looking forward to a complete remake.

Artstyle is really uncanny. Really nothing to do in the game so far, and with the goals currently being "be a worse-looking version of an old unfinished Flash game", hopes aren't high. I'll update the review in a year or so if anything changes, but you aren't missing much by skipping this one at the time of review.

If you have seen the original flash game Sim Bro, then I don't need to explain anything, the game is in early development, there are many sex scenes yet to be added, hopefully the devs will learn from the mistakes done last time when the game was abandoned and this will be finished. 5/5

Ever since I was young I adored the original of this game... I stay awake at night sometimes wondering what the continued version of it would look like if the developers hadn't abandoned it. Simbro was my all time favorite porn game... the music still plays in my head sometimes and now I can finally recount the ballad of my past with a smile on my face thanks to Simbro: ResErection.

Okay but in all seriousness this remake is doing great from what I can tell, I really hope to see a finished release of this because out of all the people that have tried this developer seems to have the talent and consistency that we need to FINALLY see the potential this game has to offer.

The game is still missing, it's good that it's nostalgic since it comes from a reissue but it's still low. It's the issue of releasing the game before it is partially finished, it is very bad fashion to do that.

Well i was very big fan of simbro and personally love the management games where you can take actions and feels like you are the person who in charge every situation.

Demo seems very promosing. Animations looks good and gameplay is same as simbro so far. the only thing general map indicator shouldnt be at phone at least it should be corner or somewhere we can easily access.
