TL;DR just go play the sequel or something similar, i forgot that other game's name that have these gothic theme and even better in everything than this

the whole thing with these game is just over glorified old concept from the old era of 2010s that's easily sum it up, and i agree with most recent reviews that people write

*hentais scenes are mostly in game over scene, i wont even count binding scenes as hentai

*arts are...well.... let say just go jack off to nhentai or something way better than playing this, the arts is pixelated worse some are way too pixelated, i wont say is that gruesome as others say, but my brain is def fkd reading/playing too many vore sht clearly for the pas 15 years

*control are still fked as ever, i tho this genius of dev already changed or even let players changes the keyboard binding but nope, they're sadistic af forcing you to play with X=ok/accept/attack and Z=no/back/jump
something that both my brain and yours have been wired playing games like these using the opposite buttons

*combats and movements are clunky combined with the cheap repetitive enemies attacks

the whole game is basically an extraction shooter but with everything strip off, no progression, just go to the next area
the whole thing could last less than an hour if you're cheating, if you aint 3 hours at best, pliz do your self a favor go play the sequel than this
it has way more depth

In terms of gameplay, it's not very comfortable to be honest. It feels a bit repetitive, the hitboxes can be weird with some enemies and areas, specially when you collide with the terrain hitbox or certain enemies and the game flips the direction the character is facing. It's not a good game in terms of gameplay. It's very obvious that rather than looking for a game, it's just there to satisfy the fetishes of the tags. What you see is what you get, no more, no less.

The ambience is well done, it's all dark and gloomy, letting you know at all times that the village and everything surrounding the castle is cursed and there is no one and nothing sane left. The design of the protagonist is also quite good (i like nuns), apart from how it's sold in the description, it has a good design, but to my dismay, it's wasted on the type of game it is. But if that's your thing, i guess you'll have a good time. Although if those are your tastes, you should probably download a 100% file because i doubt you'll want to play it for the experience. To be honest, you're not missing much. I'm not giving it a lower rating just because the ambience is well done. Other than that, isn't very fun, especially if you don't like the game's tags either.

Sinistar is an incredible experience, a mix of Bloodborne and Castlevania with a touch of fetishistic hentai. The pixel art is insanely good, standing out as something rarely seen in games of this style. Everything here feels polished, and I would honestly call it near perfect.

The only downsides are its short length (you can beat it in less than 3 hours) and the lack of deeper lore. Still, there’s a lot to enjoy, and it leaves a strong impression. If you’re into games of this style, I recommend it 100%.

There is no hidden value or lore on the game.
Even the extra content for beating the game doesn't warrant replay value

The graphics are gorgeous... And the gameplay too... it just reminded me of Hollownight...
Maybe I should buy it?...
Each location made me think a little... The character is just awesome...
It's a shame that the only outfit you can change is the white uniform...

Pros :

Good game! The pixel art is really nice, there are plenty of bad ends, and the story is cryptic but fine. The main character is great. The sound design is fine all around. Great ambiance. Nice gallery. It's easy to play but hard to master.

Cons:

The difficulty can be quite unbalanced at times. Bad endings should be skippable if you have already seen them. There is no other woman in the game. I'm really not a fan of Vore and Guro, but it's fine here and not stomach-churning except for two or three bad ends. There is a little lack of impregnation content. Most of the enemies are insectiles and parasites. 75% horror, 25% erotic bad ends. Would have appreciated some internal monologue.

Having played the sequel before the original, it is difficult not to make the comparison and yes: SiNiSistar 2 is a better game than the original.
What can I say? The game is gorgeous, very responsive, fun, creative.. It's everything I loved about the sequel and I'm just glad this game existed so that SiNiSistar 2 could be made.

Man what a great game, not a particular good Hentai Game but it was a damn fun game
The combat is simple but that it was allows it to be hard and test your patience with the mobs and bosses of each level
Some I defeated then with skill (other with cheese by using the arrow)
The pixel scenes are good but not more than that which it by it just a good porn game, would totally recommend just for the gameplay experience

Ah, Sinisistar. The game that broke a decade long drought of mine where I neither had the patience nor the interest to complete any other till it came along. That on its own is a story I could delve into, but we're here for a review, darn it! Now on with the show!

Does it have the best gameplay? No. Does it have the best animations? Nein again. What it does have is soul. Its atmosphere alone perfectly captures the setting's dark, mysterious mood, assisted by ghastly enemy encounters that remind the player they are not meant for struggle snuggles. In reality I'd argue this game does an incredible job instilling enough fear that you don't want to fail.

Yes, I know. Folks want to fail to see the adult content but for me I was hooked on surviving. I wanted Rabiane to complete her holy journey and bring an end to the evils that plagued the realm. More importantly, I was immersed in this game's world. It has kept me awake late at night more than once as an inspiration for my own creative endeavours, and this is a game that only has a silent protag!

That to me is the real beauty of this game. It conveys a great story just with its artistic direction alone that I've played it through to the end more times than I can count. The same can't be said for any other games of this genre, even ones I also love for different reasons.

But Zanu, how does it compare to the sequel? Well...

Don't get me wrong, the sequel is superior in many ways but there's just something about the original that still holds up pretty well. Maybe it's nostalgia talking but even with the sequel fresh in my mind the only theme from its soundtrack I remember is ironically a throwback to a track from the original. Yes, the gameplay is better in the sequel. Yes, the animations are superior in it, too. It also has soul and many of the qualities I love about the original but, you know what? They're different enough I don't favour one over the other.

So, do yourself a favour and play both! You won't regret it, especially if you're a fan of dark horror, ambience and immersion.

I know this is a Subjective Review but I cant give it a 5/5 or even wanted to really give it a 4/5 - Its not my kind of H-Game.

Overall the Game is nice. Its a tiny bit Short for my Taste but for that its packed with Unique Areas, Art and such - actually in the Art Aspect it looks as if No 2 Spots look the same so theres a extreme amount to Detail made which is Noteworthy. The Pixel-esque Style is unique too and with the Shading has its own Charme.

The Porn Aspect...again not my kinda Cup of Tea so I wont talk much about it

Other than that, the Fighting is Simple yet Entertaining so overall its a Very Good game - though Replayability might be lacking a bit

You might think this looks like some cool souls like porn game right? Well welcome to early youtube era of thumbnail clickbait. The game has horrible pacing and gameplay.

Gameplay:
One attack move only which is a unfun clunky upwards sweep attack with questionable range.
The arrows feel very slow to fire.
Jumping? This should have been something smooth but it feels horrible to jump over traps and pit holes.


Enemy Designs:
The enemy timings are weird. Windups for many are near nonexistent.
Damage? Idk how that works I just try not to get hit.
Most enemies are not meat sponges but bosses certinainly are.
Biggest issue with monsters are those VILLAGERS (more on that later).

Bosses:
Early game boss? Just spam arrows and a couple attacks.
Other bosses? The same except like the last one.
Ironically my favorite boss was the big parasite baby because we got some fun rhythm game.
My least favorite one? That shitty parasite spawning egg throwing parasites that you need to shoot down thats right shoot down.
Overall the bosses are in very poor quality like the last one which is just some jumping and attacking a big eye.

Scenes/Background:
The strongpoint in the game. Looks like some soulslike 1998 arcade metroidvania game but thats really all there is to it.

Levels:
Levels are incredibly short and you can finish the whole game in one hour.
The village is by far the hardest and if you dont know that you are supposed to hit the locks then have fun killing like 15 villagers in a row (you just rush them down and spam attack).
Traps are AWFUL. From the beginning flowers to the parasites to the ending spying weird humanoid spiders its all just so bad.
Flower traps have absurd range so pair that with the bad jumping and you will get hit even when standing "one floor" above it.
Parasites? Do i need to say anything more? Kill a villager and they just pop out??? Like yeah I get it but its so annoying having to spam attack one more time after.
Those human spider cameras? Cmon im not here to drive my car just let me rush through the game.



Finishing thoughts:

The game is a clickbait for people who like dark fantasy. Visuals catch your eye at first but there is so little to the game, horrible combat and those weird japanese fetishes that will put even the greatest of degenerates onto the righteous path of redemption. All in all don't waste your time on this game.

Extremely well made sidescroller with very atmosperic story telling.
Good art style interesting enemies and fun gameplay that doesn't get dull over time. You clrealy see the dev had passion doing this one

Nice art and animations, gameplay is fairly hard though that may just be because the controls and swinging feels a bit clunky. Spider boss felt just impossible and I quit at that point, but anyone with more stick-to-itness should try it out.

SiNiSistar is a fun little gem of a game. Atmospheric storytelling, lovely pixel art, and gameplay that is challenging without being discouraging all come together to make this a standout example of how to do a side-scroller right.

It's a bit too hard at times explaining the 4 BUT OTHERWISE THIS IS A 5/5 NO QUESTION the theme the atmosphere the monsters this feels more like a game game than a h game but the content in here does make it h game not really a game u fap too in my opinion but definitely worth playing for the style atmosphere and music and lowkey plot.

It's just not a very good porn game unfortunately. The main issue is there is just not enough sex, it's mostly gore with some erotic trappings here and there but as an erotic game it fails in my opinion. If there was a good story or something it might be worth playing but there's hardly any story either. I like the character design, the fighting nun is super hot, but unfortunately all you will be seeing is her gruesome death scenes.

Excellent art style, atmosphere and animation for those who like goth. As the name suggest, it's very sinister.
The only bad thing I can say about this game is that the gameplay is very basic. It's really straightforward, it's all about killing or avoiding enemies. Unfortunately, there is no puzzle or even platform.
Also there is absolutely no real challenge. If you are playing a level and you lose all your health or ammunition, you'll just respawn in the area you died, so you don't have to be careful... just go straight, die and get all your health and ammunitions back.

But this game definitely deserve a 5/5 because it's all killer, zero filler. The rythm is very good and you don't get bored. You get to see plenty of new content and unique enemies very fast. It respects your time, even though it's pretty short. The bosses are good (a bit too easy except the last ones).

The fetishes are pretty weird though and definitely not for everyone. Don't expect a single vanilla animation. It can be extremely disturbing at times.

A short game you can finish in an hour. The gallery will open once you finish the game and then two additional stages will appear, adding half an hour to the game.

I don't like games with a female protagonist, especially corruption games, but I'm a simp for souls games and the gameplay here really appealed to me and I enjoyed it.

I struggled with the controls at first, but I figured out how to change the buttons in the settings and played with a controller instead of the keyboard. Otherwise it would be uncomfortable, even if it was just z, x, c.

I tried to finish the game on a virgin route, but it seems that this is not possible in terms of difficulty and story progression.

There is no story, or at least not a clear one. This is not an issue for me, but I mention it because a lot of people care about this detail.

The sexual content is gruesome, I'm used to it because I've seen worse, but for the general audience it might not be suitable for you.

gameplay is unavoidable yet completely unenjoyable. Whose idea was it to make a porn game where it's just gore for the first half an hour atleast of gameplay and where the player has to slog through shit game mechanics to get to the bits of porn sprinkled through the game? Cheat tables to use "godmode" don't work anyway so you can't even bypass it very easily
