    I quite like this game.

The writing is probably my favorite as I like all aspects of it. The jokes really land for me. The dialogue is charming and well done. The characters are unique, fit the setting, add to the world building, and are all charming in their own way, and I like their chemistry with the main character. I've also enjoyed the overarching plot, lore, and character backstories.

The art and the girls are beautiful.

I like that the minigames are there and I think they serve the game's story that the main character is doing all these odd jobs and gaining favor. I like the more puzzly ones like the pipe cleaning, restoring the stuff in Morwenna's drawers, and decoding messages, though the blacksmithing puzzles felt cruel in its use of tetris pieces that you can't rotate. I wish the painting minigame were a little more engaging as it feels the most core to the main character and the game's plot and romance as well a showcase for its art. The clicking and dragging on a mouse isn't very fun. At the moment I can't think of a better way to do it and they are all skippable for the folks that don't want to engage.

Slay the Spire is probably my most played video game ever so it's cool to see the deckbuilding roguelike combat here and I think it's fine. It mostly suffers because of that being the comparison point as I find myself missing the mechanics and quality of life UI features from the other game.

I wish the game were a bit more polished. I understand it's an indie porn game by a small team but when other aspects of the game are really good it makes some rough edges stand out more. It is very small stuff but I get surprised at how often a certain font, small animation, or sound design choice ends up being quite distracting.

Still though, the more important things are done well and I appreciate the developer's active participation and transparency in this community especially considering the significant trade-offs that come from it.

This game impressed me quite a bit at first with its very high quality character, background, and live 2D art. There are also sort of mini comic book short animations that look fantastic. I don't like how the main character looks, but I got over it pretty quickly. The card battling and minigame mechanics are all fine and functional, but best of all, you can just skip it.

Then I started the game and read the dialogue. And more dialogue. And more dialogue. Holy crap why does everyone talk so goddamn much? For a town where people are so private don't like to give out their names (what a character actually said), everyone sure loves to give out their names along with their literal entire fucking life story to someone they met minutes ago. One character will tell you a bit about another character's past, then you ask that character and they repeat everything said, but with more elaboration. The thing is I enjoy a lot of dialogue, I play Japanese VNs like Fate and Chaos;Head, but the dialogue here drab and meandering. I didn't need an entire essay for what boils down to, "I used to be a prostitute. Saved up money to buy a tavern in the middle of nowhere to get away from it."

But finally, I did it. I done it. I got though all the text padding to get to the first H-scene, and the only thing I could think of was, "meh." This is pretty decent game that shot itself in the foot with it's mountain of dry dialogue. No option to skip it either, I had to use the rapid click function on my mouse.

A visual novel with primitive minigames and no "Skip" button.

This is not much to tell, really. It's generic and simple. A lot, A LOT of unskippble lame dialogs and then a generic deck-builder, in the most generic setting, with the most generic characters. I gave 2 stars, but only for the production quality. Otherwise it's just nothing.

Another great game from the Flexible Media but in different setting than previous ones. Very interesting characters, lighthearted, wacky humor, excellent writing, and top-tier graphic and animations. If you enjoyed Paradise Lust, there's a good chance you'll also like Sinners Landing. Just like as Paradise Lust, this game is quite linear. While the various story arcs can be tackled in different orders, each individual arc is a mostly linear tale with minimal player choice. Of course, this makes it easier to maintain a cohesive narrative, so if quality of writing matters more to you than "choices" and non-linearity, then this game is for you. The characters are just as lovable as in PL. The main protagonist (Tristan) is a somewhat less serious version of Jack in a fantasy world.

Key differences compared to Paradise Lust:

    - Much more text than in Paradise Lust. If you thought Paradise Lust had a lot of reading, this one has even more. As I mentioned, the stories are very engaging, but the sheer amount of text might deter some players. Personally, I don’t mind it.
    - A whole card game, deck-building, and dungeon mechanic. I'm not much of a card game fan and I don’t know much about them, but as a noob in this area, I can say these mechanics are very well done and they are engaging
    - This is still comedy, but it is little more serious than Paradise Lust.

So, if you enjoy 2D fantasy adult games, don’t hesitate to give this one a try.

One of the rare engaging Games in this genre. The artwork is phenomenal and while it is a sandbox game not too much grinding is required and it is always clear how to progress.
The characters are all very different but interesting and there is an actual storyline starting to show.
The card battler in the dungeon ist legitimately one of the best I have ever seen!

Very good unique game. I enjoy this one alot more then the other one. Character designs are hotter and more unique. Gameplay is more fun and the setting is more interesting. I hope to see more games like this from the dev

Really loving the game. The artstyle is spectacular, the writing is good and all the girls are interesting.

The deckbuilding combat system is a lot of fun, allowing for a huge variety of styles of play. I switched from sword base to axe base in my second go-around and the dungeons play out very differently.

The game has consistant updates, around one a month. Each update has brought new fights, new dungeons, new puzzles, and of course more of the story of the lovely women of sinner's landing each time.

    Pog is great.

One of the best games I have played in a while. It's actually a great game too play. Loads of small games that make it interesting. Great writing. All the characters are interesting. I love the graphics.
Only minor default: some sex scenes cg could be nicer.

    I played v 0.3.9a

Classic visual novel with some decent deckbuilding combat. The art and writing is up to Flexible Media's usual high standard, but I wish the dialogue was snappier. I feel like there could be half as much without losing any actual content. It's still buggy, but I expect they'll iron those out in time. Also, it took way too long to get to the dungeon, IMO. There was one time when I thought there was no more content because I couldn't figure out how to proceed, but it turns out that a character was telling me to do a task before that task unlocked, and I had to do other unrelated stuff until the option came up. Just needs more work.

The art style, gameplay hooks, writing, humour... this is turning out to be a top notch project! I am thoroughly looking forward to any and all future additions. Absolutely crushing it Flexible Media!!

The artwork is excellent! Story is good enough to keep me interested. The characters are quick to want to bang the PC but it's presented in a way that's believable (i.e. Tyra living in the moment, Dawn being unable to fuck and desperately horny, Morwenna being a priestess of an order that's specifically about fucking, etc.). Gameplay is pretty standard for a VN so that's fine, not a dealbreaker. Card-based combat is fun! Really gives a sense of agency and control that I don't get much of in other VNs.

Only have one real problem. I was expecting far more scenes to be available in the "spankbank" than there were. For example, the scene where Dawn does the ritual to make the trinket for the player, and the shot of Morwenna on the ladder in the library (I like high heels!) are not available in the spankbank. I just assumed they were so I didn't make extra saves for those, and now I have no way of re-watching them without replaying a bunch of the game I've already covered. I hope future versions will include scenes like these which are very erotic but not necessarily sex scenes in the spankbank.

    Looking forward to future updates!

Sinners Landing is made by the same people who made Paradise Lust, this game is a great fantasy storyline. I love the work they put out and the character designs, now that there are dungeons too this makes this more fun. I just really hope they add a lot of dungeon monsters or things that you can optionally grind for. Amazing so far and can't wait to see more.

Good start so far, decent dialogue fun minigames that are skippable if found tedious. And the character design is definitely a step up from paradise lust. Music and sound are good and the renders are about on par with paradise lust. Think some of the intro questing needs some more tuning, could flow better with some of the time of day requirements.

Like it says on the tin, this is Paradise Lust in a D&D package, with improvements in most areas. The story is better (as of 0.18b), the characters are the same, the gameplay is improved, and the writing is slightly improved.

    Story
It's good. Or, in terms of F95, good enough to warrant a 5. Coherent, somewhat silly to fit the general theme of a Leisure Suit Larry type of game, and slowly expanding.

    Characters
OK. Like before we start out with dominant 10/10 bi-sexual Cath (except red-head), playful blonde 12/10 bar-wench, and alternative goth-half orc (ghorc?) 10/10 Pog. They are rather one-dimensional so far, and if you click them they will dump several books worth of text on you. Exactly the kind of thing that shouldn't be necessary in a VN. MC is a good character so far; a mix between Leisure Suit Larry and Simon the Sourcerer.

    Writing
The writing is similar to Paradise Lust, *but* the MC is slightly more silly, whimsical, and detached, now. This works much better and brings up the writing a notch, as it (so far) does not end up in the uncanny valley between genuine and satirical. Alas, there is still the issue of not conveying information in a concise/organic way, and not using the visual imagery to cut down on the explicit. This is in my mind the most significant negative of the game. What we read should be purposeful, but currently the meter goes all the way to "frivolous".

    Graphics
It works well for this type of game.

    Gameplay
The fighting is fun, and I look forward to more of it in later updates. The mermaid puzzle was a bit more involved than in previous games and I like it (hopefully this means there will be fewer but more involved puzzles overall). I like the stats but they have a weird implementation; instead of choosing the answers I find the most fun in conversation, the stat gains from asking specific questions means I need to go through the branching text trees to see where I can "level up" the most. It also means I have to ask for long versions of character backgrounds to make sure I'm not missing out on any "level ups" or combat cards. This is probably not an intended side effect of the stat level up system.

Finally, since this is a very early version, there are some minor things that I assume will get ironed out:
Some areas that should be opened up by quests aren't doing that, requiring that other quests be completed/progressed first.
Some hints/quests tell you to go somewhere right now (cinnamon spring) but won't trigger updates unless you go there at the right time of day.
I got the sensation that not everything clickable I moused over resulted in a description tag popping up.
At one point conversation could not be continued/clicked forward unless I closed the game and restarted it.

All in all it's an improvement from Paradise Lust, and I look forward to playing more. Good luck to the dev.
