I don't think this needs visuals, honestly I can visualize exactly what's happening just from the text alone, my brain just fills in the blanks. But if someone was desperate for images, a "mod" or "fan project" would definitely be the way to go. Let the writer write, and not have to worry about poses, lighting, render time and all that jazz.

I'll go ahead and get to work as if I was first so I have them ready, just in case. Rendering can take a little time, especially when designing the character.

Well, the person that was first has backed down, so feel free to PM me and we can discuss things. I've already coded a way for the images to be easily added to the game, all you'd need to do is supply the images and the location you want them in.

v0.7.4 is now released! Adding about three new scenes. I kind of struggled with the plotting and writing of this day, and I'm not entirely happy, but I wanted to post what I have for today. I advise people that are patient enough to be able to wait, to wait for the v0.8.0 release, which will contain the fourth full day, and hopefully rewrite/revise some of the existing writing.

Out of character maybe, but hard to say. There will be people in both camps.

Personally, I think it could work if it still has that element of him struggling to accept that he's really attracted to her. Because one thing is accepting he has that attraction and another is doing something like that. Either way, though, that's up to you to decide. I'm just some rando on the internet.

Picks them up with shaking hands, can't take his eyes off them, the heat (that he might feel) is slowly permeating his hands, and in his thoughts "It's wrong, it's wrong", but slowly, steadily, moves them near his nose, to just glance a whiff, then he just storms to masturbate back to his room, as usual.

I mean, why not? Out of character? We barely know anything about the brother, only that he's slowly being "corrupted" by his own feelings, so at some point, she grew up to be his type, he's horny as all hell, and now he's fighting himself to not go down that path.
But you know, it's very weird, isn't it? The more the days pass, the more he becomes more extreme, so how would it be out of character at all?
If something major happens and turns him off, then sure, I can accept him stopping, or maybe if we choose a second route and just say "No", with quite a few events to "take his mind off his attraction", otherwise THAT would be out of character.
In the end, who the hell would know that you sniffed their underwear? Come on now, nothing really stops the dude except himself, so you have pretty much all the freedom to write it that way, it's not extreme enough to ruin the suspension of disbelief.

i think what could make this better is to add some pictures or gifs like goblinboy games cause in my opinion i think doing so will make it a little more enjoyable like when it describes Sarah you have to use your imagination cause the description is a little vague i mean it's the same with the sister like i didn't see much of a description like is she shaved ,trimmed , or full bush

I don't disagree, but I explain why I can't in the FAQ. If people really want them, we'll either need someone to volunteer to make them OR I need to get enough patrons to either hire an artist, or invest in a PC to make the renders myself. That's kind of a pipe-dream, though, I suppose

Text only isn't a bad thing. My first pc game was Planetfall and I loved the hell out of that game. I still have a copy sitting on the pc somewhere I think.

Pics and graphics are nice but not required to make a great game.

Well, renders do seem a really popular demand. I'm still not entirely convinced, and do not really want to invest time and money into making them, but maybe it's something to consider.

So let me ask, would people be in favor of me more aggressively monetizing the game, to raise funds to invest into a PC to make renders? This could mean for example, releasing versions for X amount of time as patron only, as some other games do.
Or investing into a machine, then paying for it by pay-walling renders for new updates for X amount of time, or something similar. And exclusive renders for on the Patreon.
And other ideas I think of, that I haven't thought of yet, since monetization has not been a priority so far.

I think the answer to this depends on what you see this game being to you. Is it more of a hobby? Something you do during your free time, while maybe making a little bit of cash on the side? If so, I think you should stick to the game that you want to make. You're a very good writer, and I assume you enjoy writing this story, but renders don't seem to be something you're all that passionate about doing. Implementing some of the fan art that people are making into your game might still be a good compromise, to help your work reach more people, but I wouldn't recommend drawing any more of your attention than that away from your hobby.

If, on the other hand, this is something you want to pursue more seriously, and which you would like to be able to do full time in the long term (and you don't think that turning this game into a job would cause you to burn out on it), then I think you should make renders more of a priority, because I think they will draw in a larger audience for you. How you go about doing that is kind of up to you. If you have some extra money which you could afford to invest in a PC for rendering, that would probably be a good idea. In that case, you could paywall the renders, while still releasing the text version for free. People just discovering your game would be able to read your story, to see if it's something that interests them before investing to get the renders and the more full experience.

If you need more income to be able to afford a new rig, then you might need to get a bit more creative about how you paywall updates. Perhaps give patrons early access to the most recent version, and free access to the second oldest version? Hopefully, this would give you the opportunity to reward those who are willing and able to give you some money, while still allowing you to grow your audience until you're able to afford your new PC.

I actually am against renders, though I'd bet I am in the minority. I think, especially with games like this, (The taboo aspect of being housemates after all) it is better to let imagination make the images. So far I think you're doing a great job creating a vivid story.

Yeah, even if I were to do renders officially, it would still be an addon and the story would be written with text-only in mind, the renders only serving as illustration for the text.
For now, I think I'll just keep it text-only, and if alex2011 wants to work on an expansion project that adds images with me, then I will support him in that.

For the sexy time content, hate to say it but it is a porn game, and I for one will not turn down more sexy times. If you want to write a sfw novel then more power to you, but I think you are advertising to the wrong audience.

For the money issue, it is your project and your work. No matter how you monetize it in the end I do understand that you have to make a living somehow. I personally would like to see a newest version for paying supporter and a free version that is released after X time or new version. I advise the time option, as it gives the content out to the rest of us even if you decide to take a break or something happens in life.

For the Images. While I would love images, do be careful. The "younger" patch means this always sits in a grey area of websites, and everyone has different levels of what type of this content they are ok with. Personally, I think hiring a artist would be ideal, as it leaves you time to focus on the rest of the game and I dunno if you have any experience with artistry/rendering. *shrug* If you do hire, the only thing I can say for sure is to make sure the artist is fully aware and agrees to what his/her work is being used for, and that they do not maintain exclusive rights to the artwork once it is paid for. I'm just remembering stories from other games that fell apart after the artist backed out and took an unrecoverable chunk of the game with them due to licensing.
