For someone that frequently goes to her streams, the game is not dead. But the creator IS a streamer and has a community. This game is a hobby for her and hasn't dropped it yet - she's doing a full rehaul of how scenes/images work.

I know. But she has dropped bits of info here and there on her streams, she also suffered a hard drive loss which slowed her development quite a bunch.
i believe there was a more recent announcement that revealed voimond was going to re-do the game in 3D. so basically negating the entire reason I was interested in it, at least.

How can one be smart enough to know how to make games and at the same time dumb enough to not make backups? Smells like excuse to me to keep milking folks for support, nobody just looses data like that and has no backup.

While I would generally agree with you we are also taking about artists here, not a group of people not known for their preparedness, calm mindedness, or strong sense of responsibility.
we're also dealing with sexual art and programming...easy to lose motivation post-ejaculation, especially if it involves spending hours on libido-sapping computer code
I think the battle system and thing was just a swing and a miss, the first release was just simple and fun. No one really asked for a deeper dive into the game's "lore" or "story", it would probably be better off as just a silly funny game.
Yeah, I wish Klein just stuck to the original vision and built that up, with a couple more positions, more girls with varying reactions... even the pregnancy mechanic was an odd fit, and I say that as a preggo fetishist.

I believe why it gone 3d its cause they also make 3d stuff which was their main thing like animations but yeah 2s had it own charm for sure
maybe they are more comfortable working in 3d over animation / 2d
i see a lot of potential for good xray scenes that would complement the subject of the game

the pain of coming back to a porn game that was peak for the latest version to replay/see what's new... just to see "abandoned" so often is a pain non-gooners will never know so intimately
