I'm new here, but here to stay. I always loved visual novels, especially in the detective genre but there are very few good ones out there.

If anyone could recommend me the "hallmark" VNs of either detective or also space travel / sci fi that would be cool!

Someone might have already asked what you are looking for in the “recommendations” thread.

The “Sunrider” series is a decent adult star trek-ish VN. Maybe you might like it if you start at Mask of Arcadius then go to Lib Day...
