Unity - Completed - Slave Lord Awakening [v1.0] [Pink Tea Games]

Pink Tea games are generally good, but Awakening is uninspired and forgettable.

Every layer of the game is toilet-paper thin and repetitive.
- The sex scenes are lightly animated fucking of elves that only have slightly different outfits and hair styles. The porn is not bad, but quickly becomes stale.
- The dialogue/plot/characters are insipid and spout virtually identical "I'll kill you demon king!" drivel. The dev probably expects almost everyone to skip the words and spent the bare minimum of time on writing.
- The Vampire Survivors style gameplay is a tedious. It is challening enough to require focus, but soaks up far too much time for a porn game.

Awakening is not quite as formulaic as the tsunami of Japanese Schoolgirl Shovelware Porn, but it's on the same shelf. If you have played and love all the other Pink Tea games, maybe try this one. If you have not played them, go try the other better games first.

This was just fun. The art is what it is, consistent with prior entries in the series, which is fine by me. Same with the sex. Not the best VN by any stretch of the imagination, but it was just fucking fun.

i have always loved pink tea games but this game was so bad. the balance of the weapons sucks so that only 2 or 3 are decent but it is random on witch ones you get per level while the 1st one you get is horrible making it so that if you dont get lucky on the first 2 lvls you dont have a hope of completing the map. then the coin drop rate vs how expensive everything is is just as bad. 0 out of 10.

Well, time to give this one a better note.
If you don't know Pink Tea Games' style, welcome, I would suggest you try another one beforehand (Slave Lord or Elven conquest).
If you do know, then I don't need to comment on the art style, the kinks present, or the main character. Nothing new here, still as good as ever.

The gameplay is a copy of Vampire Slayer, and quite enjoyable. Most levels aren't too difficult (I'm not good with these games usually and still managed most of the time), you might need to try 2-3 times, but this isn't a bad thing. When your reward is fucking one of your opponents, having to struggle against them first is pretty satisfying.
If you're stuck on one of the "protect the castle" levels (they're the only ones I always had trouble with), you can grind a bit for upgrades, either through redoing previous levels, or by fucking your slaves (yes it still gives you gold after the first time... don't know WHERE they keep it, but they have it).
Very few items are completely useless, though many feels like they are in the beginning, but the vast majority can become OP once they reach level 4.

Finally, while there is not much in terms of story, we still get some funny bits. We get our usual disrespectful Dark Lord in the dialogues. The final bosses are defeated through a swearing battle. And you play Sauron beating up squirrels or trying to avoid being trampled by oversized hamsters while pesting against the "rodents"... I know it's not much, but it always manage to make me smile.

An okay game, but I did enjoy Elven Conquest games much better.

This game combines Vampire Survivors gameplay with a single h-scene after completing each level.
Most levels are easy and the whole game would take around 2-3 hours to complete, considering there are 12 levels and each level is around 5-7 minutes long and you will have to retry some of them, cause they have different small goals in them and they get harder as you go.

Retrying levels might be considered grinding and I really hate grinding, however it wasn't too bad in this game - the amount of grind felt reasonable.
Still, since this is a h-game, I see no real purpose in extending the time between scenes.
If you use your coins smartly and understand the basic gameplay mechanics, it will go pretty smoothly.
I finished the game with less than half of the upgrades unlocked - I prioritized the magnet upgrade to safely fetch all EXP, then movespeed and damage.

Enemy hitboxes suck.

Weapons are limited and randomized, since some are much more useful than others, it sucks.

Game works smoothly, I have not noticed any lags, bugs or similar problems.

The story can be all put together is a single sentence probably. Nothing to wonder about.

Art style is lovely.

Animations are mediocre.

During h-scene you have couple of actions, which do not really result into anything - they just change the state of the animation.

Not bad, if you compare it to the most games out here.
However, could be much better if more diverse gameplay would be added with more h-scenes and other mechanics.
Then also add some story and decisions that matter and it could be a great game.

I have always loved the slave lord series from Pink Tea Games, but this was clearly a side project that was made for fun instead of a serious attempt at making a hentai Vampire Survivor clone.

First of all the weapons are horrendously imbalanced, with only a few actually doing some decent damage. Secondly, although I did almost all the stages in one try, the stage I had to try multiple times was the eleventh one, since without a bit of luck and specific weapons choice you will die. Unless you grinded a lot of coins to buy the upgrades that is.

The hentai was good, even if it missed some of the more finer details and variations that other games from Pink Tea have. Also the addition of a cheat button to just unlock all the scenes and skipping all the grinding mentioned above, was quite the good addition, as not everyone wants to play 5-8 minutes for one stage just to unlock a 30 second scene with 1 or 2 small variations.

All in all, a game that is worth it to play for the scenes within and if you do not like to grind then use the cheat button, as you will not miss anything important or interesting by doing that.

It was a good, enjoyable and smooth game without grinding until you reach the seventh stage and there you have two options, either to grind for hours or press the cheat button and unlock all the scenes and be done with the game, which is what I did.

Story 3/5: Not bad, it is shallow but good enough for me. There are some funny texts here and there but don't expect much.

Gameplay 3/5: Simple, you will be a bit unsatisfied if you have played more complex Vampire Survivors clone games before.


Hentai 4/5: This is the good part, although the characters annoy me when they say they've lost their virginity and I don't see any blood. Feels like scam to me.

It starts like one of the pink tea games but after completed the elf section level designs and gameplay start being so grindy. It's a sex game after all right you can use cheat etc. But one of the real problem is scenes are also getting sloppy and boring. In Pink Tea's games generally you have more options and small details in this game, there is none. If you take a look a little closer you can even see the intro is AI art. The final scene not even animated. The knight scene is boring as fuck. I don't mind a little grinding if the reward is good enough, the grind part make the reward more valuable after all but most of the scenes are not even smoothly animated and grind part is boring as fuck. You better take a look Elven Conquest again.

I stopped playing this after I grinded the same level for two hours to get 400 coins for an upgrade, after which my base attack went from 5 to 6.
Gameplay is really shallow, even for a game like this, basically you run around the map and auto attack npcs, which drop xp, which you use to unlock weapons., and you go through stages like this, unlocking the new slave after each one. That wouldnt be a problem if grind wasn't so bad. And half of the weapons are basically useless, they either suck even when upgraded, or are ranged so they kill npcs off screen, while coins and the xp 'crystals' that they drop disappear after a while, so you cant even collect them.
Art is okayish, basic anime style, you get an animated scene per captured character. Nothing special, but it's not bad per se.

Gamplay 0/5 - From all the weapons I used I think only one or two were decent and that only when almost maxed, if I didn't get those at the start I usually restarted the level. Weapons are poorly designed. Upgrades are almost useless. The grind for the coins is abysmal and not worth your time.

Art 2/5 - Basic anime style art and basic animations, nothing that should deserve 5 stars tho, especially the ending, they didn't even bother to make an ending animation, just 3 pictures or something like that, looks like they just wanted to finish this "game" and move on.

Story 1/5 - Basic revenge story.

Final rating 1/5 - When I saw the 1st version of this game I had hope for something good but in the end it turned out to be just another disappointment. There's a lot of things they could've done with this to make it better but it is what it is I guess.

When I saw "Completed" I expected a better gameplay than in previews versions, but I guess I was expecting to much from someone that gets around 10k$ a month just from patreon support.

I love pink tea and their games, but this one was a miss... basically no story, gameplay has just been ripped from another game, but even then the gameplay is super grindy and not fun to play and even the art is meh compared to the other ones... clearly this was just a side project that pink tea just made in their free time, but I would much prefer pink tea just focusing on their other games.

the game itself is alright, the different level types are neat, but the weapon design is pretty bad. Also, most of the enemies are animals? I would much rather be swinging my giant dildo at some sexy ladies than a goose.

scenes are short, and basic, but drawn well.

game is short & fun enough to make the little sex content worthwhile. but neither are that great on their own.

There's a mindless arcade style game with a potentially mildly entertaining gameplay loop and decent H scenes at the end, unfortunately game breaking bugs really knock it down a notch and prevent you from continuing past the 6th stage. Do not recommend until dev figures that shit out.

Game breaking bug seems fixed by new patch if not just the PC version. Still a mindless arcade style game to unlock an H scene. Now a short 3 star game with the potential to become a longer 3 star game, not a lot of room for this one to grow except to repeat the game play loop indefinitely, it should almost be a mini game in a bigger visual novel or sandbox game rather than the main attraction.

If It wasn't for the good sex scenes, I would have given this 1 star.

The upgrades at the store barely bring any benefits.
5 seconds into the level, and you are already overwhelmed with enemies that eat your HP in 2 seconds.
You barely do any damage and can't even aim your attacks.

Just go to the sex scenes, have some good times and hoard those coins.

You know this guy is an alpha sigma of a powerhouse, no fucks given, super ultra macho, pussy and ass destroyer, that can only touch girls with his dick, but for wearing such evil looking from the depths of hell armor, he can't touch cute animals or girls without getting his life halved in a second.

i verry funny parody game and another classic "revenge" story but i love how ironic this one is. all in all, kind of clunky, interesting, mostly finished, respects your time, extremely hot especially the first scene. let me Boink the reanimator great game keep up the good work. the game is difficult in meany place but not in a fun way.

A typical pinktea Slave Lord game with vampire survivor mechanics, seems like it is the sequel of Realms of Bondage. Our slave lord is being revived by Zaria(I forgot her name) and he will fuck and enslave more women

Basically dev discovered Vampire Survivors and made game upon the same concept. You can see heavy inspiration in gameplay, progression and skills. The exception is he did not make it nearly as satisfying.
Like others said, only scenes you get are worth attention here, which is not where the priority of a game should be.

The dev is suffering from success - he has created insanely fun games where you play as an evil psychopath from a fictional world abusing women, and he ran out of storyline ideas and is now making indie game clones.

The gameplay is tedious and unbalanced. Skip it.

Drop a save and watch the story scenes and the gallery. That's the only reason I give 3 stars.

The juicy part is ok, but the actual gameplay is horrible. The attacks can't be aimed and have no auto aim. It's playable, once you get the ball rolling, but I wouldn't recommend the current build. It that gets upgraded it could be ok.

I did't know Pink Tea Games before and I will most likely forget about them again soon enough.

This game is . You have no idea how to control your hero, the only task you get is "Survive 5 minutes", because you want to capture some elfish queen..what?
The performance - even though it's Unity- is alright, granted the screen will be swarming with masses of a 2 or 3 different enemy types soon enough.
You will eventually pick up Power Ups and increase your survivability a bit and to gain buffs and automatic "weapons" that work for you. That's it. The only control will be WASD. Boring.

I am fully aware that this game is nothing more than an early alpha at version 0.1, but it's not enjoyable for me in this state and the whole concept of this game annoys+bores me. Mostly because of the lack of any sort of tutorial or proper introduction into the game mechanics.
