Update was okay content-wise. More vore, some sexual transforming/entrapment. The tree demons and nymphs were a re-hash, but the sporelings and nectarlings were neat. I hate zombie transformations, so I was sad to see more in the game, but maybe there's some who are into it.
I have complaints about the pacing of that zombie part in particular. Having a massive "dodge everything" gauntlet run where you get interrupted every 20 steps by exposition is annoying as hell. You can hit save anywhere during that run, but fights can't be escaped from, and you're almost guaranteed to lose if you get caught due to the slow-down mechanic and how easy it is to get an infected team member. I got through it by save cheesing and avoiding all the fights cause I couldn't be assed to try it as intended.
I was really looking forward to exploring the ruins, so finding out the update ends before really setting foot in there was frustrating. I'm also frustrated that the next update will probably be more zombies and might involve that infection mechanic -- I'm crossing my fingers that there'll be a couple alternative encounters.
The writing is still good. I would have stopped playing this so, so long ago if the writing wasn't at least interesting.
Guess I'll wait for the next update.
