RPGM - Slice of Venture Remake [v0.5] [Ark Thompson/Blue Axolotl]

Kinda hate it. Tried playing through the story and got most of the objectives, but because I missed a time sensitive objective that they don't give you ANY hints for, I lost the 2 hours I had put into playing this game and got the bad ending which doesn't unlock the post-game content. That this is possible is an unforgivable sin for a hentai game. I'm not here for challenge or puzzle solving, I'm here to nut. Cock-blocking the player like this undermines the purpose of your game......unless this is another one of the more niche fetishes this game appeals to, in which case bravo. But it doesn't appeal to me, so demerit.

Used a full save here to see what post game was like, and holy crap it's terrible. It's where most of the content is for one, which would be a good thing, but I quickly found that I wouldn't see any of it. Content seems to be 1 time only, I wasn't able to repeat most scenes besides yuki getting spanked or drinking spit, neither of which I came here for. Combined with Ayame seeming to get 0 postgame content, I crave a negative star rating function to drag this down. A disappointment from start to finish.

If you insist on playing anyway, look for a guide somewhere in this thread which will tell you when and where you need to be in order to 100% the primary objective so you don't waste time and blueball yourself like I did.

If you're into the kinda taboo and wierd kinks this game panders to it's great for turn your brain off and get wierd with it smut.

My only issue is I wish more of the scenes had art, I can only speculate but a lof the art is variations on older work. It looks good and I know art is expensive but man it's disapointing to load up the game, run to gallery and see nothing all that new.

TLDR: if you like to get wierd with it, game good, art good, but not much art.

It's a very good game. Now that they've updated it, it looks much better. I hope they continue to release more versions. They need to make a guide, since it's very difficult to follow the adventure mode, but it's still very entertaining.

This game is incredible. They need to fix little things and making the grinding for smegma none existence. Just allow everyone to enjoy the scenes and move on to the next scene. Make the skill cost less - I actually soft locked myself because I picked the Extra Smegma Skill over Watersports.

Dont be fooled by the screenshots, most of the games content is eating dick cheese, drinking piss and getting pissed on. And yes, "eating" dick cheese, not licking at it or nibbling at it or sucking at it, they go HARD with the cheese, it's straight up foul.

The game is also clunky and unintuitive with content gating that doesn't flow well, so you'll have plenty of time to convince yourself that there has to be more then chunky cheese to this game while trying to get the next scene that's just as bad.

Really need to put some of the extreme CG's in the OP, smegma isn't even in the genre list and its this games primary fetish.

This was a very very nice playthrough, since it hits sole of my kinks I am a bit impartial, but the overall feel is a good RPGM, it is a bit grindy in some points but the status mechanic would help me find my way when I was kind of lost.
I do feel like a smegma tag would be in order, there is a Lot of that.
Can't wait to see the finished product, 5 stars for me.

This is a remake of older game , i liked the older game back then. Now this is a massive improvement compared to old one. Models are hotter then before and scenes have improved a lot too. There was also a sequel to first game, try that if you like this one too. Wish the plot also improved but sadly no.

Everyone who reads this review is most likely familiar with Blue Axolotl games. The author is incredibly ambitious, maintains a large team of people, while not receiving much income from the community.

It is amazing that the Blue Axolotl continues to produce games, despite the ban on Patreon, the failure of SoV 3 and Slice of School.

I am sure that if the project does not cease to exist, then the project will be filled with fetishized content to the fullest.

We look forward to the next updates. If you have the opportunity, then support the author and his projects.

Lovely game, always love Ark's work. I really enjoyed the original of this game but it was very dated so a refresh is really well needed.

Also great to see that after .2 it's basically a whole new game with extended non-canon story where they can just have a fun playground to make good content.

Art is great and the stats/unlocking system is really easy to understand and use really enjoy what is already there and looking forward to more.

The art style was good and all but i was here for mostly becuz of shota tag and what i found is just a BJ which no one cares about that much. I recommend that you better remove that tag so no other ppl waste their time just to get a single scene. In bestiality sense it is great i like it.

The kinks are a little extreme, but people who know this dev knows what they put out.

The gameplay is also very straight forwards. There's no convoluted quest and there is a quest log to help guide. Just wish there was some sort of map

I went to distort the content from this game, even though version 0.2, but the content seems to be fine, judging by the artbook. The system for getting scenes is hopefully not like in games in previous games.Even ratings are of little interest, not a buggy game.
