For several years I got this problem of getting errors...
There are many fixes that include file manipulation/edditing filenames/replacing missing pictures...
But I found super-easy-pizzy-lemon-squizeme way to get rid of it...
Well, for the most part - If the code is broken and uses nonexistent file, then this won't help.
So.
What you need to do:
1) Download your game in ".zip" or other archive format;
2) Open it with WinRAR (Don't know if further steps can be performed in other similar programs);
3) Go into WinRAR settings and press "Name encoding" (Or something similar to that [Sorry my program is not in English]);
4) Choose "ANSI/OEM Japanese Shift-JIS" option;
5) Extract your game where/how you want;
6) Play the game with all file names correct!
I sincerely want to thank integrated AI Search engine for this!
Or I would still be fixing these errors for hours to enjoy Japanese RPGM games
