Daz [SOLVED] Daz asset files backup

Hi there,

I want to ask, I'm about to reinstall DAZ studio, so i need to save my assets.

Is it enough to copy only the My daz library folder, or there are important files somewhere else as well?

For plugins you can copy plugins .dll files instead of reinstalling again.

-> copy the whole /plugins folder from your old Daz install (where Daz exe is)
-> install new Daz
-> Merge folders. *DO NOT OVERWRITE*, just copy the one you miss.

iirc you'll need to re-enter serial if needed.

So I don't need to vorry about some files in App data etc? My daz library is enough? And the plugins

Should be, far I know. I don't use 'smart content' but there is maybe extra step to export database/metadata.
You could also import your loadout/style but I think it's faster to re-create from scratch.
