The game was renpy. A man walked around an abandoned house, periodically an angry girl appeared in the rooms. He was repairing a generator in the basement and there was a dirty, frightened girl. Something with an element of horror and survival.

Wasn't that the basic set up for the Silent Hill test demo on PS4 that was canceled and removed from the Playstation store?
I remember playing it 2 times! 1 time I made the wrong choice and the girl in the basement pulled out a gun and shot me.
