I get this error a little after I press NG

After pressing NG the character appears then fades away. Shortly after the error message in pic above appears. Closing the prompt will cause the game to close as well.

hi,

the download/ archive is in Japanese locale. You need to unzip in Japanese locale.

Both bandizip and from-what-I-hear winrar can do that. and some linux archive softwares, too.

With bandizip I use "archive preview", then in the bandizip window click that worldmap button and choose Japanese, only then unzip, and suddenly the game instead of that error lets me choose a name.
Past midnight here, so I did not check farther in for today.

But well, that game was in my bookmarks anyways, so maybe now the time to play.
