i played that game a few years ago. here is what i remember:
your sister/girlfriend/whatever got kidnapped by a hillbilly family that want to kill her (to eat her?), so you need to sneak into their home to save her. i think you find her in the barn but need the key for the door. anyway after saving her, you wake up in a hospital (maybe you got attacked?) and see in the news that you are a hero for what you did. after recovering you leave for an out of town college.
i may confuse some parts with other games but i'm pretty confident that didn't
