They just move stats around but this can be a big boost and make the game easier. Specifically, if you want an easier time get the archer first and max damage or crit chance once it gets fixed. You will notice a big difference in how quickly you kill enemies
-Tricky Wizards, Slimes, Archers, and Ropers (I think Imps as well) have all recieved health nerfs. You are now way way way less likely to get a spawn of over 100HP, and i'll just say I no longer die inside from a triple wizard spawn.
too hard... too much spawn and when the line is full ... it's over. i understand the zone damage but you can't do nothing... not very funny.
In a turn you make 30 damage max. there is 3 ennemies who spawn with a total of 45-90 HP ???
Love the game but oomf i cannot pass the first part for the love of my life i try so hard but i keep ending up being swarmed and the bosses starts making it worse its pure pain (okay edit realised there was an update but i still cannot pass are my skill selection buns or do i got a skill issue?)

Son, are you just spamming your basic attack and expecting to win?
^72 damage here, and I didn't even use Ninja's turn yet.
on Ninja's turn I applied poison with my basic attack to the boss (he'll take 9 damage in the upcoming turns), effectively dealing a total of 91 damage in a single turn.
If you are using skills right, and even your basic attacks right you can do way more than that.
Game's shaping up very nicely! Balance changes since I last checked this out have made it pretty hard to wipe in the first zone if you're putting in some thought, without it being utterly trivial, which I feel is a pretty good spot for the genre. I find myself relying on the same ol' reliably cheesy combos less than I did earlier in development.
Now I'll just need to learn how to stop wrecking good runs due to UNWISE decisions made in attempt to 100% the bestiary lmao.
I basically had to sit there and wait to be allowed to play again because they kept ticking up the increment of the effect, and the game no longer pauses if tabbed out, or in the settings menu, so i had to find the value of the timer in cheat engine while the value was changing because otherwise i'd just lose automatically at the end of my run arbitrarily
so now i have questions for god, such as what the fuck am i meant to do

So I finally earned the armor and understand how the custom stats work.
Attack is a pretty strong upside but what would you guys say is the best downside to custom in? If I go -Speed for everybody do we just never move and thus can't ever win lol.

Thank you for sharing your experience. As rough as she is, I promise she's beatable without cheats. there's actually many ways to prevent those missiles. Some of which are stupid easy:
I'll say, I do think maybe giving missiles a way to destroy just by smacking them enough might not be a bad balance, I've had my share of cursed toxic runs for sure. Maybe I could do you could strike the mushroom enough and it explodes, but the heroine who hits the final blow gets infected or something.
Anyway I hope you still had a fun, albeit difficult time.

still havin fun, and as it turns out i got the boulder summon directly as a result of that run so now i can actually do that :>
was mainly just posting it for the absurdity of it all
i have noticed that i dont really open the map until it's time to choose a path, but i did see the missiles in those times, though i thought it was just part of the map, given that it was my very first time actually getting to that section
that coupled with the confusion of how to kill these unkillable lumps of turbo death was probably what lead to it being so confusing/frustrating to begin with
perhaps having one of the heroines chime in about when you first encounter it and have them talk about softening the blow or landing it on something else would be useful? maybe have them point out that map functionality as well?
sometimes i get a bug where instead of the girl im trying to buy during combat, the one im using the item with arrives and just changes into slave outfit, without getting the other girl back. also thanks again for tellin me how to get thread. those custom outfits are lifesavers
