I only have things planned out for the future in a broad sense. I improvise the specific details. So like for level 3 for example, all i have planned is "I need to make level 3" and then once we get there i write a document explaining everything level 3 needs. So I don't really have level 3's theming planned out at all at the momemt.Also random question for the dev, are there any plans for like...a traditional hypnosis boss or enemy or smthn? There is body control with m u s h r o o m and the straw guys, but I'm curious to see how far you'd go with an enemy being able to do something like that (probably through status effects). Again, this is a curiosity question, not a gunpoint demand

Thank you for the advice! I haven't played a whole lot yet so I was still getting used to the target priority for level 2, and I haven't yet gained the ability to change outfits, but it's good to know that it's so impactful, I'll aim for that on my next run. And indeed, the fish are incredibly powerful, I just wish I were better at farming gold to buy rods more consistently.
I would like to mention that not having an AOE ability of some kind usually just means i fail my run, so being able to do damage to a few enemies at a time is pretty important (this is just how i play, but it's probably possible to win otherwise). The outfits are customizable and can have 3 positives at the cost of 3 negatives. You get the outfits after getting a certain NPC, and whatever armor you have at the end of a stage builds up a bar. 100 armor built up gives you a spool, and two spools + 10 gems can get you one of them. Spells are also handy, but most of this is just stuff I learned from a whole lotta runs.

If you encounter the shark woman on the map, you can buy fishing rods from her. The cursed rod gives you s*x scenes for the naked and slave outfits. All other rods do not.
man i feel you on that last one. im like, not even really struggling to beat the second level even on a new save at this point since ive played this game way more than id like to admit, but i still cant catch a damn fish. im so utterly ass at that minigame!
theres actually a gallery already. its in extra in the main menu. also the demonomicon provides heroine's comments on certain enemies, be that flavor text, ACTUAL flavor text from archer (girl likes to eat, and we like that in a lady) or tips on how the enemy attacks and ways to deal with them.
The crow thing circles around you at a random time in the final quarter of level 1. You have to check your minimap at the top left after every turn and click on the crows when they show up. If you hire the mercenary birdman (he's holding the mandolin/guitar) and he's still alive when you encounter the crows, something special happens.
