Unity - Some Heroines Climb Up a Tower to Ask God Why the Game Has a Name That's So Long [v2.40] [Sinful Salad Games]

The art is great, but the gameplay of constantly battling is quite repetitive. The porn is okay, but you can only see any sex scenes during these battles. A lot of times however, they can lead to you losing, so it's so-so about even wanting to see the porn. All in all, it has great potential, but it's still a long ways from being good imo.

TL;DR: A fun game that has a nice gimmick which makes playing it as an actual game a viable option. Writing is good, artstyle is really pleasant, but suffers from a lack of proper porn aspects

+ I love the artstyle, tbh
+ The writing is goofy and funny, doesn't take itself seriously and isn't shy about it
+ The gameplay is surprisingly fun and engaging while also being relatively challenging

    - While the MCs have nice tits, the porn aspects of this game fall flat for me, I just don't really find myself getting too invested into the groping/capture/whatever imagery when I'm more focused on trying not to get wiped the fuck out by 4 archers and 6 ghosty boys. If I had to recommend a change, I'd say that some sexual scenes involving some of the recurring cast members can take place between battles when you're moving in the overworld, that could offer some lewd shit outside of the hectic battlezone, but that's just my opinion.

Overall, I'd definitely play this for a couple of more runs, but I don't see myself getting too invested into it as a porn game, instead I'll be playing it as a fun little side thing.

I tried this game because I was attracted by the art style, and boy was it worth it!

First of all, and most remarkable is its gameplay, you could say it's a good mix between tactical game and tower defense, but at the same time it's something completely different, it feels really fresh, although the difficulty can be a bit crazy sometimes!

You will use three important characters, a girl knight (Aka Swordwoman), a hairy girl (Aka Archer) and my personal favorite a Shinobi blue-haired girl (Aka Ninja), you will have to combine their skills wisely if you want to survive long enough, and manage RNG too, so u wil need repeated plays to do your best.

Losing is not all bad, since you get erotic scenes this way, and honestly the reason why most of us play the game hahaha!

There are plenty of interactions between the girls, plus a meta humor that made me laught at times, the game is not heavy in terms of text and you will spend most of the time playing or unlocking scenes, so the interactions are great to give variations to the rhythm of the game. although this is quite subjective and may change from player to player.

At the moment there is not too much content, but I see a huge potential to expand the game, besides adding some features that would further enhance the experience (like a gallery, but i think that Extra option in the main menu will gave something like this in the future).

tl;dr: I really recommend this game, quite different from everything I've tried in this genre and with a charm that I have not seen elsewhere (Sexy ninja included).

Relatively light on concentrated H-content, it's more sprinkled throughout the game rather than super-focused on it, though it should be noted that the art is hella good. The draw here is the combat/gameplay loop, and it's really solid - characters do zone-based damage, and some can move enemies between zones. Combined with battle being essentially continuous throughout a region, it makes for an extremely fun roguelike, if you can stomach the difficulty (which is decently high). Big recommend.

The gameplay is fun, charming and actually quite difficult, but still fair. The three heroines are each well designed and have interesting abilities that are fun to use and make most runs feel different. As more floors are added, I'm excited to see how much variety there ends up being.

Storywise, the plot and characters are fine. I wish the game leaned a little less heavily on it's meta humour, but it doesn't ruin the games story or anything. I actually laughed a couple times from various character interactions and was surprised at how detailed some of them were.

The art is great and I'm looking forward to seeing more of it. I would love more scenes like the one with Beholdan that mash together writing and art. Maybe sound too if that's ever in the cards.

It's a difficult game, but honestly worth giving a try to see whether you like it or not. If you're struggling then their are a few resources here and in the discord that can help make the learning cliff into a curve. If after all that you still just really don't like it, then their are some mods in the thread that make the game easier or straight up braindead. No shame there, no game is for everyone and the art is amazing if you enjoy Trongle's style. Don't let wierd elitists on here or the discord tell you otherwise.

This is another one of those games that stands head and shoulders above the WEG pack and that I would still enjoy even if it didn't have fat ninja tiddies. It's a fun roguelite with solid mechanics and nice art. Also, good god am I glad to see another game that isn't afraid to have some modium of difficulty.

I have played quite a few games of this style, I mean they have no mercy on you, you either learn or you die, and curiously it is one of the ones that does it best among those I know, it reminds me of slay the spire, I don't know exactly why, the art is for me at least a 10/10 by the way

Alright, after 4 hours of playing through this game we need to get something straight. Who ever keeps referring to this as a rouge-like needs to either open google and figure out what "Rouge-like" means or stop trolling. Sure this game attempts to look and feel like a rouge-like but its missing the literal one thing that makes rouge-likes what they are... progression!? Every time you get reset you lose literally everything... and the game even meme's about it? Its so egregious even the MC's even ask the narrator why they don't keep stat upgrades!

There's a very minimal "buy different skills shop" but even that you need to get lucky and find the skills in the wild. This makes for this mind numbingly boring grind that relies completely on RNG. There are even items you can chance upon that give you a very small stat increase but again you lose them on reset? It's so absurd I was honestly waiting for a pop up telling me to "sub to patreon if you want the stats to carry over!!!!" but even that didn't happen.

Over all this game goes out of it's way to waste your time, the simplest changes could make it an actual Rouge-like, but it's more interested in making soaking every minute you plan on browsing games I guess?

The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is it's got a great art style but until you can actually play the game don't bother.

An extremely fun game with meh h content. The dialogue and wit are charming, the loop is addictive, the mechanics are simple, new, and fun. Fans of roguelikes will find a lot here to enjoy - those looking to get off should look elsewhere.

But seriously, though: Gamers, play this game.

    Last Words:
The art style is very nice and the story is funny and is partly aimed directly at the player, which is quite interesting. However, the gameplay is trash. There's hardly anything to do except the rouge-like battles and they're far too difficult. Far too many enemies spawn and you hardly have any chance of defending yourself properly unless you happen to get the strongest skills at the start.

    Pros:
    Excellent art (drawing+scenes)
    Well-written characters
    Funny yet not trying-too-hard-to-be-funny dialogs
Well-balanced difficulty (although sometimes a bit too hard)

Cons (maybe some are in the game, I couldn't complete it)
First of all, no gallery mode (yet?)
No guide or hints about what to do next (did the run and succeded a few times, bought everything except a few skills with the dragon lady)
Can't withdraw money from deposit dude
A longer game over screen would be nice
A story yet to be developed (well, it's a demo...)

Can't wait to try the next update

The art's great, the humor's cheeky and cringey, but in the best ways. The story seems nonsensical, but the worldbuilding is there, which is a pleasant surprise.

Voice acting tag is bait, and the game's better for it. You can hear some audible enjoyment from the girls when they are getting manhandled and whatnot, but overall you gotta use your eyeballs and read. And as I mentioned before, the reading's good here, so suck it up and enjoy.

But the most important thing: this game is actually FUN TO PLAY! If you want a cool spin on the classic rogue-lite "travel to the boss through the nodes on the map and repeat" then it's right up your alley.

Personally, I sunk 6 hours into the demo the first time I started playing, so I strongly recommend you try the game out.

    Riddled with bugs.
Had a glitch to make me stare at a blank screen at start up and wouldnt fix no matter what, reinstall/restart computer, delete appdata so on and on
Few days later it randomly decides to work but even after few minutes of playing i got a game breaking bug, And this game is rogue-like(ish) so all the progress just went down the drain.

Concept, art and stuff doesnt look too bad but game isnt even functioning properly.

Edit: bumped from 1 stars to 2 because dev contacted to inquire about the bug(s). Still can't say anything about the state of the bugs till I try it again sometime.

+ Art is very nice ( I usually stay away from WEGs but often times you find gold like this one.)
+ Title is very descriptive and lets the player know exactly what he is getting into, very nice, more works should do this.
    - Combat system is a bit weird and has an RNG aspect to it with the skills
    - Not a lot of animations, nor a gallery system, but the game is still in early development, so its understandable.
All in all, it's looking great!

For a demo, this is really good, and I'm in love with this art style. The dialogue is actually funny, but the game has a few problems, such as the game being based on RNG, the crushing difficulty (which isn't a problem for me, but I know it's not everybody's cup of tea), and the music loop. But I think it's still really good. I would honestly still play this if it weren't a porn game. Keep up the good work!

I'm keeping in mind that at the time of writing this the game is still early in development and considered a demo. The art is great and reminds me of an old school Newgrounds game from back in the day. The designs and characters feel unique and the music slaps too. I really enjoy the ideas behind the gameplay mechanics. Combat reguires you to think and there's a layer of strategy that you don't usually find in H games. The story and writing is also quirky, whether you're into the humor or not is entirely up to you but I'm glad the devs are trying to inject some personality into the game rather than "Look boobs!" or the typical mindless sex dolls that you see in most porn games.

I do have to say that this game is hard and casual players are going to get frustrated and have a bad time. A lot of this stems from the fact that the game relies heavily on rng. Everything from starting skills, enemy spawns, and world map are completely random. I did have a much easier time once I unlocked more skills and items to work with, but getting started can be pretty brutal.

Losing a heroine also means your chances of recovering your run will be slim to none, especially losing the archer. Only the archer is capable of dealing double damage if enemies are within her zone while the ninja and swordwoman can only deal 10 dmg if the enemies are in their zones(the trade being that sword pushes enemies back 1 space and ninja pulls enemies forward with base attack while archer cannot) . Archer also has the ability to set traps, fire arrows capable of hitting multiple enemies/lanes, and most of her abilities will do max damage or is capable of hitting regardless of what zone the enemies are in. This makes the archer the most valuable character by far so if she is incapacitated then you're pretty much done for.

This makes me think that the game could use some tweaking and character balancing. Ninja has a powerful aoe attack that shreds anything in the blue zone and poison attacks but I would think that a ninja would have more trap focused abilities which would help compensate for the archer. Swordwomans abillities focus on pushing enimies back and inflicting burn damage, but a lot of her abillities can only be used on enimies in her zone and it'd make sense for her to have the heaviest damage output and aoe focused attacks but she feels weak compared to the other characters. I also think it could help if ninja and swordwoman have a chance of doing a critical hit if enimies are within certain areas of their zones (maybe 15dmg instead of 20) but not entirely necessary.
A character revive item could also fix some of those issues for me. They could just make it expensive so players would have to choose between spending their money on more healing or reviving a character(maybe with the added benefit that revived characters wake up with double damage buff state).

Speaking of character revives, I have to point out one of the more nuanced details that I enjoyed. If you do lose a heroin you can get her back by repurchasing her from or defeating the slaver. The rescued heroin will then be in a corrupted state for the remainder of the run where she wears revealing bdsm style clothing and has more looks of satisfaction when being assualted by an enemy. Good stuff right there. Glad they added voice acting as well I just hope they don't do full voice acting and keep the speech and story segments text based.

I can tell a lot of love is going into this and I'm looking forward to see where this game goes in the future. Getting started and dealing with the difficulty curve can be rough but the gameplay is still really fun and addicting . If there's one point I want to get accross it's that this game doesn't feel souless and it's not just mindless porn. I think these devs have potential and something great on their hands here. Hope they stick with it and can't wait to see what they do in the future.

Game seems very fine for a demo version, but i played it like 3-5 hours straight and can say

Game have broken mechanics if you gonna go deep into it (What i mean by that?)

    1) Skills having flat damage (By flat i mean they deal 100% 10 or more damage) And they can hit in every Red/Blue/Green areas, lets take a Warrior skills, which easily can deal 10 or more damage in any area making game easy to complete (DEPENDS ON RNG OFC)

    2) Girls. Love the art-work, in game icons very great, by great i mean its looks like a [REDACTED] which good game too, attacks could be better but for demo that's enough

    3) Loop-gaming. Didn't expected to be in there but its good enough to enjoy the game again and again

    4) Nude-Mode. Kinda fair and kinda not, There is no option for a nude mode but clothing is good way to make Armor (There is no nude mode in [REDACTED] shop....)

    5) Is it worth it? Yes, waiting for future updates

    6) Sex-Scenes. Sorry i'm not hunter for these, i need only gameplay to enjoy it, games made for it

Rating - Game seems very fine for a demo, found 1 bug when been fighting some bomber man which soft-locked me but its fine

I'll rate 5/5 only because game is good in my opinion
  18. 2.00 star(s)

    k2ren

since sex scenes are nearly non-existent i can't justify it rating more than 2.

this is basically a slay the spire spin, but with some unique elements. enemies are constantly coming, you have 3 characters, all have specialty in different ranges. i dont like the art nor the gameplay. unlike other roguelikes you don't get stronger the more you play (maybe if you finish game idk) it is a bit too random. sometimes first couple of scenes are very easy, or it can be very hard. all depends on rng.

you can probably waste a lot of time on this game just purely for the RNG. but these games where rng makes up most of gameplay are imo bad.
  19. 5.00 star(s)

    Bonio100

A great game, great concept, great writing, almost perfect save for some balancing issues.
All useful damage is done in divisions of 5. The max per-hit damage is 10 per character, with the hunter being able to get a double occasionally. Red and Green attacking in the blue zone will still do 5 damage per hit, but attacking any further or using blue in the wrong zone will do less than five. Since all health in the game is divisible by 5, it is never useful to do less than that, since its basically just a turn countdown do when you'll do enough damage to kill.
There's a few buff items that add extra damage do your attacks, but these fall under the same problem. Since you're doing a bonus of, at most, 2 or 3 more damage with these buffs, they're useless until you can stack multiple on the same character to actually make them more effective. If the buffs instead gave an extra 5 attack it would open up a whole new set of opportunities per turn.
Onto the skills. Skills do static damage no matter where they hit. This is great, but it makes it so that instead of using them for their abilities (the AOE, the status effects, etc) their main uses are just attacking at full strength in every zone.
Hunter even has a skill for this that makes her normal attacks do full damage everywhere, but why pick that when you could instead pick something that does full damage AND has a bonus effect?
The game just needs to treat its damage numbers as they.

    BrainWaves

As of writing this review, the game's just out with the main release and the bugfix that came a week after or so.
And my goodness is it good.

I don't usually write reviews, but as far as I'm concerned that's one of the if not the best porn game I've played.

Setting's cool, characters are great and so is the art (archergirl bestgirl). The music never had any buisness going THIS HARD
The gameplay takes some getting used to but is really nice. First game I see where sex is neither punishement not inconsequential. It's a pretty interesting risk and reward where you might get corrupted beyond repair, but if you aren't then you're in for a pretty sweet comeback.

The rogelite part makes it pretty addicting, and the number of different sex scenes means most runs will have you seeing a new one.

Speaking of sex scenes, they're really great too. Each character has their own, a bunch of enemies have uniques ones (the imps and vodoo dolls are great btw) and also
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Writing's nice too. It doesn't take itself seriously and breaks the 4rth wall like it's a national sport, and the jokes are funny : D

Honetstly play this game, if you're here you're probably gonna be into it, and it's very, very good.

Goodness am I looking forward to see where this game goes from here, because that is one hell of a start.
