Some questions as a newcomer. Help Needed.

I have started playing VN's two months back and surprisingly I got hooked. Although not all the VN's are as good as some others. But I am really enjoying the exploration (alot more interesting than porn). Depraved Awakening is undoubtedly one of the best I have played so far. Although I played only a few till now. Lets come to the point.

1. Most of the games I am interesting in are marked as [Ongoing] with a version. So if play a version (i.e: 0.2.1) and later (i.e:0.2.2) comes out. Do i have to play all the parts again or is there anyway I can just continue the story from 0.2.1 ?? Whats the procedure?

2. A lot of games has Cheat Codes/Codes given in the description (in f95zone). How do i apply/write those codes in the VN?

3. How do u keep track of all the games you like?

4. What are other alternative sites to download these type of VNs and Games?

1. That depends on the game developer. Some of them try to make all of their "savefiles" compatible with newer versions. If that's the case, then you can just copy your savefile from one version to another.
2. Again, that depends on the game. Try to look for an in-game menu where passwords can be input.
3. Click "Watch" on the right upper corner of the game post. That way you'll get a notification each time someone posts on that thread.
4. There's this cool site called ULMF, it's probably one of the biggest adult forums. I think it's worth a shot.

Yeah, there's also that. It allows you to use the dev console and access the debug mode.

But there's some games with cheats built-in.

1) Almost all games will include a save feature (all vns) i've never played a game that does not save your progress/ give you save slots.
2) Assuming a vn has cheat codes and the type of codes most posts will tell you where to input the codes. Most vns will have a button like code or extra content where you input it. For other games where you may have like stats but can't edit in game you can use a piece of software called unren. https://f95zone.to/threads/unren-for-macos-and-linux-v0-8-2.16887/ It allows for yo to open the game console or unlock the scroll wheel so you can re read text or re go back to the previous render.
3) all games on this site have a little eyeball symbol, click this to watch the game. This allows (if you set it up) to send emails whenever the game updates ( I will warn you though, make sure if people will likely see them that you have f95 emails to delete 2 days after reading them or something like that
4) If I'm totally honest with you, this is one of the only game websites there are. Sure there's loads, but they either steal from F95 or are riddled with Viruses. Tbh, the fact that f95 is completely free and community funded via donations is mind boggling.
I've been on a few other websites and they are all very sketchy or require the use of a torrent and unless you know about torrents and know about security I wouldn't bother. But yea, f95 zone is 100% the best place for adult games. Not just that it has a very helpful and interesting community.
