VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Something to Write About: The Author [Ch. 7.1] [STWAdev]

For a game in its early stages, this is phenomenal. The plot development, character arc, and writing that tied each element together flowed seamlessly and made it seem less like a sex game and more like a relatable novel.

No one is made to be overtly dumb or ignorant; all are rather surprisingly mature and with plenty of depth. Kim, Aoife, Lynndie, B all have backstories that make them more grounded instead of being used as fap material.

That being said, all models and renders are still very easy on the eyes - something that can't be said all that often as as I often find myself nitpicking on a character or two for most games I've played. The animation perhaps is the only thing "lacking" but that's something I'm more than willing to overlook.

Very Impressive.
Solid story with nice character introduction and outline, Bring the characters to life making you want to spend a little more time with them.
Interesting character mix, The hurt, the hard nose,the little rush kid, the introvert. Unusual mix that just works. Well done.

The character model are very good and quite likable.
The animations need a little work but thats cool.

Only concern would be the length of the story as it is labeled a short story on the dev's Patreon page, but will just have to wait and see.

Over all a great effort , will be watching for future updates with interest.

The story is compelling, the character models are appealing and well-created and their personalities are engaging. It is a solid game that I got quite interested in the plot, which happens rarely for me.

When talking about the downsides, the script has some iffy grammar mistakes here and there and coloured text representing the characters' names is sometimes hard to read, invisible even (especially Lyndie's, who is btw. Best Girl and No. 1 GF Material, don't even try to argue!).

I love this game! Great story telling! This isn't one of those "log in and jerk off" type games. STWAdev has created a very well-developed (both back story and physical attributes, lol) cast of characters.

I am invested in these characters, which is pretty rare after a couple of hours of playtime. All of the characters have their positives and negatives but for me its gotta be Aoife. Her personality is the type I tend to pursue. However Lyndie made a strong push at the end of Chapter 3!

Really great game so far. Interesting cast of characters that are easy to get invested in, solid writing and storytelling, and while it's hard to be ground breakingly original in a contemporary drama/romance story there's definitely more than enough to make this one stand out. The fact that the story already has a defined end point and a road map for getting there speaks to a dev that's actually put some thought into what they're doing.

Will be supporting and keeping an eye on this creator in the future. I don't want to rush through this story and have it end too soon, but I'm already interested in the additional stand alone games planned in this series.

Really well thought out storyline with some intriguing characters, really glad for the harem route if for no other reason than it would be hard to pick just one. Although having said that Lyndie has become my favorite so far. Renders are top notch and animations while rare thus far are at least not as clunky as is usually the case. Looking forward to future updates. Definitely worth a read.

Normall 5 stars is a bit of a stretch, nothing is ever perfect, but I gave them here due to how certain subject material was handled. I think some of the writing for certain scenes was incredibly well done and it's clear the author has some knowledge or first hand experience of some of the drama life has to offer.

That said it is obvious there is drama here but it isn't overbearing to the point of depression. All of the girls and the MC are broken in some way and while it does give details it never oversteps to make it too dark. I think the balancing act for that has been really well done.

This is also the first time i've found myself liking all of the girls. There are usually one or two, even more in some cases, I don't like but here i've found myself wanting to know more of all of them.

The slutty girls have depth. They aren't sluts for the sake of being cumdumps it's a mask they are wearing to hide how much pain they are in. I did say all the girls were broken, some more than others.

The dev has a clear plan how he wants this to go with how many chapters and his story already laid out and that's refreshing.

If you get the chance, give this a read, you won't regret it.

Positives: A well written story without any spelling/grammar errors that jumped out to me and no glitches/game-crashing bugs. The character models didn't seem generic to me. The game also hints at the characters having their own unique problems that humanize them, which is a lot more than I can say for many other popular games. Though, the writing does come off as a bit edgy, with characters saying they're "broken." With that being said, I like edgy and I think that it makes this game different in a good way.

Meh: The renders are fine, but nothing eye-catching in my opinion. The few sex scenes shown were also pretty mediocre. The chapters aren't short, but I personally prefer really long chapters/updates. That's just my personal preference though. There was also a very minor annoyance in chapter 2 when the player character's name stopped showing up when he spoke.

Negatives: The scene with Lyndie being harassed was cringe-worthy in my opinion, but that was probably the only scene I had an issue with.

Overall, a very promising game with good writing and interesting character work. I'm looking forward to future updates. Nice work, dev.

Excellent start thus far. The story is good, renders are nice, girls are a pleasant mix, and all in all I'm really enjoying the direction of the game so far. The protagonist isn't a stereotypical creep, and can even be very reserved with all the girls through choices. It sounds weird I know, but I prefer to take things slow in games normally. That said, if you like sex immediately, there are options there for that from almost the beginning. Definitely looking forward to more, and think I'll support this one.

Very good first chapter.
Well written, interesting story, beautiful women and unlike what some in the thread write, they are not that cliched, I found them rather interesting, while not being particularly special, they are not the standard characters we meet in most games here.

If the quality remains that high and the updates come at a regular pace and with satisfying content, this is another game that could earn a five and not because of what it might one day be, but because of what it actually is.
