I wanted to like this game, because it has interesting moments even if the writing is very bloated at times. But the AI gets insufferable and there are basically no choices regarding the story whatsoever.

The AI isn't even around for the second half of the story, so I'm not sure what you're referring to there. And, no, thus far, it doesn't seem there are any choices that create major story differences. Though I expect in this sort of story, the only real choices will be if you end up with the main interest or not.

The MC looks like a yaoi creature, it's off-putting.
Makes me imagine the game will suddenly turn into some mpreg omegaverse bs
