yv0751 It's not a bug, per se, but:
I managed to lock myself out of an achievement with Nimhe. I collected all 3 ponygirl magazines, and when I realized I could give them to her, I spammed them all right then. I did not realize she'd hang posters for them. Since I gave all 3, she hung the final poster, and it never changes, and if I try to give her more magazines, she says she already has them, so I'm stuck without a new save. To prevent this, is there room for her to hang multiple posters in her room? It's the easiest fix I can think of, code wise.

Then there are a couple achievements I can't figure out:
Vee: "Continue Vee's sex training" and "Practice 'social interactions' with naked V...". I have her SLU maxed at 11, I've trained in her room and played on the bridge in Arellarti space, and nada. I'm stumped on what else I can do.
Thanks for the report.
I have marked those gallery Items for checking during the next testing phase. As far as I can remember they all unlocked after the second respective execution of this interaction.

I'm getting the same issue, I'm using the Linux version and that's it. Is it literally unplayable on Linux?
There is no reason that shouldn't work. I have not tested it with linux though. Have a ubuntu vm installation somewhere and might do a test.

Just be aware that using URM with this game (starting it up is enough to do the damage) will corrupt its data state beyond repair.

Just for checking on your end:
start a new game, select a later restart point(e.g. day 130),go to the botlab and check the presence of the repair and upgrade widgets....

it is level 5
You don't need to repair them if you buy the investment upgrade, I forget which one, it repairs them on doing arcade work, so it's not necessary repairing. You need your skill high in the latest version I played before any repairing can be done. It was like skill 10 or something, it took ages and then I only used for repairing their parts on their creation prior to arcade, not from any damage from use that the investment takes care of. By the time my skill was high to do shit repairs to 60%, I had long since bought the investment and none need repairing ever in the latest version. The past version didn't have the same criteria and they often needed repairs from memory.

The amount of parts changed to 100%, so many. Why did I need a useless repairing skill. Novelty.

the point on raising MC tech skill is to unlock first the parts repairs (base 60% max) and to reach that lvl5 must do ship repairs, so try not to give the repair task to khelara too soon if you have not get there yet

then you may buy / mine a lot of bot parts boxes, open them blindly if you like, and put and remove on a random bot, repair as many parts as you can and your skill will skyrocket, the goal is not only reach lvl 10, but to be able to upgrade parts, just like nimhe does but on those you choose (and some materials instead of other parts)

the point imo on the repair service for bots on arcade is mostly to avoid having to retrieve them, repair and send back to work, specially if those are high IQ and have few places to send them directly

It's higher in the latest version. Unless it's changed on update? Like the above my skill was 5, it seemed to require a higher skill level. It was taking forever. Until what did I even need it for.

The point is there is no point on repairing bots. The investment repairs any arcade damage. All you're repairing are the parts prior to loadout for any arcade use. If you want to max the skill to 100% repair you'll have collected any shells and had elite bots long before then.

It is pointless. It takes forever to gain any skill, you'll have bought the expensive investment long before you've gained any skill.

Ignore it. Your bots don't need repairs in the present version. Past versions they did. I seem to recall repairing damage and the bots after use stopping generating income. No more. Pointless numbers you can scratch your beard about

I've never played the game before so I have no idea where that is, is this correct?

that image looks totally messed up. It has the wrong icon and all kinds of weird effects.
Something badly wrong with the installation I would assume.
is this image taken from a game which was freshly installed and played out of the box as is?
If so, which operating system was used, was a virtual machine used, was an emulation used et cetera.

This looks like OhWee mod to me. Never understand ppl that use a mod and then don't explain that they did use a mod, and come to the dev to complain?

Thanks a lot.
Those are the copy paste errors that get overlooked under pressure ;). Fixed in main path (V2.20) and merged back to 2.10.
V2.10 Public will be released second half of may

V2.20 will have
  • some massive (under the hood) Sw-Design changes / refactoring I wanted to try (new Subsystem Management)
  • a whole bunch of filled in NSFW content (expanded pet, milking, racing...)
  • random NSFW encounters on the ship...
  • maybe new Infiltrator bot for the captains quarters
  • there will be no big episode like in 2.10 as that begins to detract from the main storyline
  • and a bunch of other nsfw content and features on the to do list I still have to go through
Here is an all access post from today at patreon on 2.20:

Just noting that my mod has NOT been updated for the current version of SJx (2.05.010c). And it looks like the current (non-public) release has a number of changes under the hood, so I'm not sure if I'm ready to try to tackle updating my mod to the latest version once it becomes public. It's a lot of work, and I'm distracted with other things atm.

I recommend not using my mod with the most recent versions, as it will revert a number of things to the previous version, and will probably break a few things...

yv0751, I have an issue to report in 2.10. I'd like to call it a bug, but I know where it came from.

The issue is, "smart buy" in the cargo terminal works differently than "smart buy" from the mission list if you have two or more transport (probably smuggling too, didn't check) missions for the same good. In the cargo terminal, "smart buy" buys enough to cover all the missions; in the mission list it buys enough to cover this one mission. So if you have missions for delivering, say, 50 of platinum ore to the anomaly and 30 of platinum ore to Iltari Prime, there's no way for you to buy the whole 80 you need from the mission list. You'll only buy 50 max, and both the missions will be marked as ready for delivery.

What would work much better is:
  • if you don't have enough for a given mission, mark it with red,
  • if you do have enough for the mission but not for all the missions with the same good, mark it with yellow and put another button to fill it,
  • if you have enough for all the missions, make them all green.
Again, we're only talking about multiple missions for the same good.

it is level 5
If I remember, the ability to repair Bots is contingent on 2 things. First is the MC needs to have Tech skill level 5. Second they need to progress beginning missions to a certain point where it becomes unlocked. ie: do missions with Nimhe. I think you need to finish the mission quest line to give 1st completed Bot, and get access to pirate Base before the repair Bots skill is officially unlocked.

So both need to be true. Tech 5+ and story missions progressed to point where Nimhe allows/teaches you to repair bots.

thanks for the report.
I have noted it down for testing.

Intended behaviour is that in the mission list smart buy only relates to the line of the mission you are buying for so if you want to buy goods for two missions which are the same goods you would have to press smart buy in each line.
I will check whether this behaviour works as intended.

Looking forward for V2.10, and later for V2.20 - and even if there wont be complately new quests, veriety of small NSFW events and scenes, plus expanding on existing content sounds great, and i wil ltrust that it will be high quality and quantity, and just as good as any of the content updates we had.
