I’m replaying the game after a year. Isn’t the Galaxina bot a bit TOO OP so early in the game? I was micromanaging to get money, and suddenly I got this monster worth 40M with a few military pieces.

if you hand it over to authorities you'll get 50 mil and a Galaxina episode (CG), so it's actually your loss to open it yourself, if you keep it around until the wayward station you can make copies of it and get a possible Elite Version of the shell AND all that.
That aside one of the goals is to save up 500.000.000 so it's more like a headstart.

Just pick the last one and almost all scenes are unlocked.
If it's not bugged ofc.

I picked the last update/day after pressing new game and went to P then gallery, and most of the scenes are locked

Did you start the new quest at the Quthor Station? She can work there at the Leather Forge once you unlocked it and did get rid of one of the strippers...

i finished 2.05 most of the side story but only played the main quest right before unlocking the 5th map. does the quest unlock by progressing main story?

Hmm, looks to me like you need to have completed Quthor and entered NX010 at least once (I think that's how far you've to play the mainquest), three or four days after that there should be an event about an archaeological site in the Quthor system during the night and after sleeping at the Quthor Station, Moira should show up in the morning and tell you something that the quarantine is over which kicks off the "Missing Persons" quest

Sadly that is not going to happen.

The retarded government of my country is in some kind of standoff with steam over adult content which results in no one in my country being able to access adult content on steam at all, not even a creator.

I wish our government would focus on things like, lets say, preventing that teenagers watch pornhub 24/7, just saying. But that would be too obvious i guess...

Also valve could't be bothered with a proper age verification so the just removed all "porn" games. Was probably easier and less costly.

This is rather political but I know of atleast half a dozen goverments working on this basis... and it feels like another one joins the club each quarter of a year

Very disappointed in the choices for downloading the PC version. Everyone of them wants me to install "special" software to unpack the game. I have had issues with this before and like to never got rid of the malware installed from these unpackers. There is a reason I only download from Mega, which has the Mac version. I like the game, but it's not worth the risk.

That's because the download links you see, now, aren't supposed to be there, and were an attempt to sabotage the Dev. The latest version of the game isn't supposed to get a public release until Friday, but there was a guy who the Dev banned from Discord who took a buggy older version of the advanced release on Discord and uploaded it here early, just to spite the Dev. In the process, the version he uploaded was riddled with viruses and the like.

So just ignore it and wait until the actual public release on Friday. If you can't wait until Friday, you can either join the Discord or you can get v2.05 off of Itch.io.

I guess that explains why some stuff in it missing, like a half decent changelog... super awesome that has viruses! Now I have to scan my computer... but was wondering why at least one of the options for download was from a .ru website, definitely avoided that one!

Once you finish the "Missing Person" questline in Quthor Station and you leave your ship you should hear a mufflled sound when you enter the docking station. You just have to use the hyper scanner on your ship after that.
