I kind of have given up reviewing games as I usually don't see the need as many games just don't inspire me to write about them enough.

Now I want to start with the positive and that is this game has a lot of work and skill put into it. The animations are pretty good, not godly but decent enough, the amount of kinks offered and having them be optional is a huge plus. The in game walkthrough is handy and the dialogue in this game will have some good humor occasionally.

Unfornatley that's about all the redeeming qualities I have seen in this game. I think some of the models and characters used are not just unattractive but actual scary to look at. I feel the story and world are a bit of a mess to be honest and the characters personality matches that.

I would ask people who like the game to point and tell me what character in this game do you actually like. I found myself playing and realized everyone single person/ alien I come across is either slut, douche or prude. They have no personality besides tropes that are so overdone it's like beating a dead horse. You have the bully who has a small dick, the bf who never gets laid, hell you even have the Whacky funny girl who fucks everything.

Having everyone be a slut/whore is such a weird choice. Like it's the exact problem I have with harem games when they make everyone a virgin. Like what about a mix of both wouldn't that make the most sense? Having everyone be a whore and constantly bringing it up is definitely not a turn on. I mean if everyone fucks everything what is the point in relationship points and trying to build up any of these relationships. wow it took her 10 days to fuck the mc but she fucked other people real quick if you had that kink turned on. like it takes out any tension or build up for any of the li. I mean the sister is the perfect example of that. She fucked cousin Felix, fucks the entire space station than gets pissed that the mc is fucking already. like what?

Excellent made game. Excellent character development. And tons of taboo contents. All the wild stuff one may want to see. The characters are relatable. Great walkthrough and interesting choices. Decent graphics.

PROS:

1. Models are not bad looking albeit some ridiculous
2. Animations are OK
3. Kinks are crazy but at least there are many
4. Sounds are present at least, but not great
5. Writing is actually good, considering whats written is 99% bullshit, but the bullshit is written well in a twisted and yet purposeful way.
6. Updates are relatively frequent
7. Spoiled for choice in terms of the lewd and kinks, as mentioned there are many and pretty much something for everyone.
8. Some humorous moments but often i find it a little "try hard"

CONS:

1. UI and interface with holodeck is actually stupidly frustrating, you can no see the other choice if you don't take it, so its one or the other.
2. Points and stats are to me a useless feature that I could easily be removed and the story adjusted slightly to compensate and give a more linear story VN instead of this.
3. Story is beyond stupid and its pretty much a bag of cats in a blender, the same with the events as they unfold, its so outrageous and stupid, which clearly is what the dev/writer is going for but it goes to a point where I feel ok, its a bit much now, can we focus on driving the story (if there even is one)
4. MC is basically a man whore and some of the LI's are locked into NTR like relationships where they either screw others or did e.g. the sister which is fine IF the player chooses that option or backstory, yet here its like canon or something...
5. The VN pretty much has zero point and serves as freakish fap content most of the time which could appeal to some but not to me.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

• Choices can lead to game over and re-roll, which IMO is again just a stupid time wasting mechanic that serves no purpose when save for scratching that itch of e.g., what would happen if the MC put his dick in a blender, then after you got your freak on you just roll back...Id much rather focus on the rest of the game and drive the main plot or developing relationships with primary love interests.
• The VN pretty much has zero point and serves as freakish fap content most of the time which could appeal to some but not to me. Pity as in some instances I would keep playing it to see how certain relationships develop.
• If you looking for mindless drivel that has the odd funny scene and then plenty of ludicrous scenes that defy sanity but end in gallons of the MC splooge then this game for you.

Ranli has created the most universal and open game. This is one of the greatest games out there. And Sam Sung, I love that character! I have been playing this game since May. And I am not disappointed. This game is great!

"If you laugh, you lose" is the motto of this game. It's comedy gold, above all. But the plot is genial nonetheless. Each character, mainly the MC, has a unique and strong personality. It's awesome how you can shape sexuality and personality through multiple choices. The sci-fi theme can make some people avoid it, but it would be a big mistake.

It's a very hard game to review. Because it's got so many kinks, it's intentionally off the wall and lastly because it's a game of two halfs.

The first half is a lot of fun. It's stupid craziness in all the right ways. As a well meaning and dumbass farmer gets conscripted and put on a ship full of horny human, alien and robot lunatics. He's wrapped up in a holy war, demons and fucked half the ship within a day.

The second half the game falls off a cliff. The actual scenes and story is fine. But it changes format from a pure VN to chats, dreams and choosing to do x, y, z with stats going up or down and it doesn't work, it turns a game that is already a bit eccentric and breaks it's flow and coherency completely. The first part felt deliberately silly and crazy, the second part feels accidentally incoherent and lifeless.

Right now I feel the first part is so enjoyable it's still a good game overall but it could really do with wrapping the stat part up and getting back to been a VN.

Love it! At first it seams like there is no way to avoid straight content but after finishing the game I can testify that indeed your MC can be 100 percent gay. I I have loved every second of game play so far and I am waiting impatiently for the next update.

The game starts by showing a good relationship between MC and Ci-Ci. She takes care of MC in the Corps, and there are some sparks/lewd interactions between them before MC joins the Corps.

When Ci-Ci caught MC fucking police and shows shock, anger, sadness, tears, and discovers the superpowers between them...

So I chose sister in the "Titanic dream", but it led to nightmare-like chat scenes...
Turns out MC's sister has been fucking Cousin Felix. Not only that, she is a slut, she fucked everyone to exchange for getting in MC's Corps.
I think she basically fucked anything able to move.

So... yeah, this game isn't my thing

After the last update, I felt like I had to rate this game. It's really hard for me not to rate this lower, however, I won't because of the entertainment I used to have playing this game. The game now features little to no development. There are multiple updates where nothing of value happens.

When I first played this game, I assumed that eventually, our MC would be promoted and would end up in one of the corps we were working towards. Now that I think about it, that was a naiive take from the start considering the amount of branching narratives that would require. What the game ACTUALLY became, was the player getting lackluster character interactions while also not having that much agency.

I started playing the game just a few days ago after a positive feedback from a friend about this game and believe me at 1st I was liking it but as an incest fetishist when it shows that the sister/roomie(as the game says) literally fucks everyone especially cousin Felix while MC was right outside the room(in memories) even though as the game says she loves her brother and also the attitude she shows when we ask her to take down the naked poster of cousin Felix completely turned me off. I am assuring other people who sees the review that it is a 'me' problem as some may like it watching MC's sister getting boned by other people even in memories or some may not even care it sure as heck not me. So sorry for the bad review but the game is not for me.

If the dev was to take any suggestion into consideration I'ld ask to go to those past chapters and redoing all the scenes including sis where it gives us an option to have the sis as a virgin or not according to people's preferences as some though few may like a slutty sister. And if chosen her a virgin some dialogue changes and render differences. That's all.

This game is actually disgusting. No matter what kinks you're actually into, you'll have disgusting content shoved in your face over and over. Even if you disable it.

The writing absolutely sucks with 4th wall idiocy and the far-left take on southern accent you see in netflix production. Tarnation as every other word.

The models are all hideous with all females being masculine, even the initial attractive one gets destroyed with both hair changes, besides which the figures are a mess, like all men are muscled up but somehow have hourglass figures.

The fetishes themselves reappear over and over after being disabled and the author seems to consistently confuse one thing for another

To cap it all, the game has obnoxiously loud music from launch

So i finally came around to play this game. It took me a while to do that. Somewhere in 2020 i think i tried it but stopped at a point because i just couldn't handle the MCs stupidity. And i will be honest without the spoiler that it will get better i would have given up this time as well.

Now to the actual review of this game: Its very fun. At least after the MC stops being an absolut moron. There are a lot of fap material and the story is also very entertaining. The characters are fun to talk to and all the different systems like kinks and sexual orientation make it a very interesting experience.

But the game also has a lot of problems. There are a lot of scenes thats true, but its usually just 4 or 5 character placements that are shown from 8 angles and no animations at all. And the story moves very slow. I don't know about the gay paths but the straight paths had very little story development since day 1.

Now all that doesn't have to be a problem if the game wasn't 6 years old.

The Devs are to concentrated on little conversations with throwaway characters instand of giving the love interests some development. As far as i can tell Cici had no story or scenes since season 1 other then the one dream. But we got all the scenes with all demons and all the game simulations.

I bet if the game was finished i wouldn't be so critical about this but come on. This game is now 6 years old. Even in the slowburniest incest VN you would already be at the anal training stage with the mother and the aunt would be introduced.

I feel like the Devs should first concentrate on the important characters and their quest and then add things here and there instead of going on these giant detours.

Now it happens again. Based on the "To be continued" screen there will be another portal storyline added.

Again, if this was a finished game i wouldn't be so harsh. But this is like eating all the ingredients of your favorite dish one at a time, instead of eating it prepared.

"Heres your cup of flour. Eat it. Its gonna be a great cake in your stomach once you get the vanilla extract next year."

I dont know how to make this point any clearer that that. Maybe all this extra stuff in necessary for the final product but come on. If every little IQ point needs a whole Simulation we will be stuck at the start of the story for the next decade.

-Game engine is unsuited for what the game is going for.
-Most of the characters are ugly, especially the aliens.
Their skin looks like plastic, and not in a weird/interesting way. More like an unfinished texture mess kind of way.
-Plot is dumb, even though it's the point. It's not dumb fun, so it's actually annoying.
-Fetish content isn't as consent based as advertised. There are a few scenes that slam into you whether you like it or not.
-Fetish content also completely changes the story. If you go back on it with a mistake, it'll be as if it never happened.
-Game gives a womp womp for every missed sexual opportunity. (You actualy miss plenty of meaningless lore for missing scenes) For a game trying to be inclusive, that's pretty patronizing.
-Speaking of choices, the game makes it very clear a bunch of choices matter, but NEVER elaborates clearly which ones do. Most of seemingly mundane choices has huge consequences later on. You might never find that out.
-Sim system sucks. Why is it that you lose IQ stats PERMANENTLY every morning when you need it for certain endings. None of the stats you gain actually do anything most of the game.
At least let us cheat.
-It's difficult to cheat. The variables shown in unren don't make sense. And cheat menu doesn't do jack except give a choice map, which isn't updated to the current game.
-Religion. Idk wtf the dev was doing with this, but big ideas are not a strong suit for this guy. I can watch South Park parody religion, because that's what the show is meant for. It's stupidity, and not meant to be taken seriously.
This game has a parody MC in a parody game, doing a serious story quest for a parody of religion.
This dev can't really juggle too much at once, so things come off wrong sometimes.
For ex: -Also the worst of all: Who the fuck came up with these unholy dance/action sequences? They're terrible. The music is tastelessly forced in too. And you can't properly skip them.
-Most of these issues wouldn't be so bad if another medium was used to make this game.
If this game was a fallout mod, people would enjoy this type of stuff a lot more.
There's a lot of things that vn's just needs patience to achieve well, this dev doesn't have any of it. Next time choose a better platform/medium to create in.
It might turn out alright.

Love the persistent character development and the sex scenes are rewarding, if a bit derivative.

Its clear that this project has some limitations in terms of how quickly new versions come out, but the format is good enough to make up for that

Quite frankly, this game has never recovered from the shift in format. It felt like it instantly became lifeless and perfunctory when it switched from following an actual story playing out into a boring life sim functioning as little more than a scene selector.

It also doesn't help that the game refuses to respect the player's choices regarding the type of content it tries to push on them. Admittedly, that problem started pretty early on, but it could have been chalked up to inexperience. The longer it continues, the more it seems like they just really want you to try all of the fetishes on offer because the game's development is spread so thin that there's not much to do if you're only interested in a limited subset of the content.

This game is great if you're not playing for the story, but just one of those busybody players that want to dig about in an AVN where there's alot of decisions and unlockable lewd scenes and stats.

There are 2 main points of appeal of this AVN:

1. it covers as many of the fetish types or tags as any other, under a sci-f setting.
2. Lot of player choices that impact the lewd scenes they get. There's even a fancy decision map built into the game.

The general cons with games like this are:

1. Weaker story. The story is goofy and porny, but not funny. None of the characters are particularly memorable.
2. Zero animations, just renders for lewds, given the permutations and fetishes that have to be covered
3. Models and renders are average or even ugly

And the cons bear out with this game. You'll play through a scene, unlock certain lewd scenes and reach one of the endings to the scene, which then starts the next scene. There's alot of stats to track as you eventually work towards choosing a career path in the spacecorps.

The story has a mish mash of elements inspired by other sci-fi works, covers themes around religion vs sexuality, some intergalactic intrigue, but this is not a great narrative by any means.

This game is goofy and dumb just like its mc and I love it. It looks great visually, probably in the top compared to other 3dcg visual novels out there. The story is maybe a 6/10. It's entertaining but there are just so many things happening. Things kind of go in all different directions and it makes me think that less can sometimes be more. Not saying that having a lot of content is bad. More gameplay is an amazing thing. It just feels like some things or events take away from the actual story. So much to the point where I question if scenes/event contribute to the storyline at all or if they're even necessary. Like the time spent creating this random interaction could have been used on furthering the main story or expanding on its characters. Just a thought but this is still a great game. The variety of fetishes is pretty cool to see and appreciated. SpaceCorps might just be one of the funniest games that I have played. A lot of it is just dumb and silly but it's refreshing in a way. Nice to be able to just enjoy and not take things too seriously. Scenes where a song just starts playing out of nowhere and they just fit so well with what is happening are pretty funny. Great stuff, looking forward to more.

Review for SpaceCorps XXX v2.6.3:

I've been playing updates to this game since late 2020. This game is really fetish heavy, so if you're into the fetishes in the tags and you're into sci-fi, you'll likely appreciate it. However, if you lean more towards vanilla, it's probably not for you. All of the fetishes are optional, but if you want to see only vanilla scenes, there's very little content, and even the vanilla sex scenes tend to have some sci-fi weirdness. The game is obviously supposed to be humorous, but it's not super successful at it. The writing is OK, but the MC is such a retard that you will frequently face-palm. The render quality is good, but the models intentionally have cartoonish proportions, and they're sometimes even grotesque. The story started off pretty good, but later fizzled away and has now evolved into random content to keep players busy. I think the game is doing a decent job at what it's intended to do, and it deserves the most credit for its originality, but overall, it's just not my cup of tea. If there was more content that was interesting to me, or if the story progression was good, I might feel differently, but I think it's time for me to bow out.

Amazing game. I can hardly wait for the next update. Sometimes quite crazy writing, but Iike the wide variations of choices you can make in this game. The Characters are hot (male, female, alien and inbetween) and the style is amazing too. Thx RanliLabz

Story is pretty decent with ok plots and some fun stuff but theres just way to much that annoys me.

MCs sister is a whore, she apprently fucked everyone to get on the same ship as MC but for what reasons to get to MC and do nothing? you cant fuck her i belive other then in a dream even though it has incest tag, not that i even would after seeing her fuck the hole crew and the cousin....

Claims no NTR tag but i dunno, you see a shower scene where a LI is molested by another female, then they end up in a bed together where the LI says nothing happened BUT scene goes on to show the LI getting licked and fingered and dialogs makes it look like its just MC thinking about it, the real issue is that very soon after that you learn MC can read minds to see what people has done like when he sees hes sister fuck the hole crew, so its pretty clear that the stuff with the LI proberly did happen and it was MC reading her mind which is why he could see what went on which MC was wondering about when seeing it for the first time with the LI being molested, which would clearly make it NTR, not saying its wrong to have but if its there it should show tag for it.

Dident really enjoy most of the sound effects either, the music was pretty good at times since it was real music not just the standard background crap.

It also has animation tag, but i dont even recall seeing a single animated sex scene, but about a million that are just picture to picture shit which you cant call animated, but maybe there is one i missed somewhere but in any case its extremly lacking in the animation area.

Pretty supprised this has been rated so highly compared to what it is.
