Ren'Py - Completed - Spaced Out [v1.00] [NSFW Space]

SPOILERS I AM GONNA SPOIL THE GAME DO NOT READ IF YOU WANNA PLAY IT FRESH.

I wanna start writing reviews for the games on here since I'm not to active in other senses and would like to contribute to the site a little, for me to write such critiques I need to establish something real quick.
I don't believe a complex opinion can be represented by a number but I do understand most people are impatient so please consider my star ratings as follows, 1: don't recommend 2: can't decide please read 3: recommend.

NOW THEN Spaced out!!!, the story is laid out in the description so I won't repeat it, as for it's conclusion, well it blows, like a lot, 2 things of note about me are, I am impatient as hell and I don't like sharing. If Ideal conditions could be met my IRL fantasy would be to have a harem of girls who I love and who love me back and each other, all of us can have fun with one another but they can't go beyond I only can if we add her to the harem, a bit selfish I know but it's my fantasy I do what I want with it. This game sets that fantasy up at first but eventually more and more characters are added and by the end the MC kinda just gets emotinally rejected by the characters, the milfs end up with each other and the sister ends up with another chick and sure the MC can fuck them but he dosen't get to BE with them if ya know what I mean, I really didn't like that. the actual ending is just trash, based off 2 choices at the very end you get sent to the developers next game with the characters that didn't die from this one (I think I'm not gonna play it so I'm not sure). It's a cliff hanger ending I assume it was meant to grab me so I'd play the next one but FUCK THAT I don't wanna deal with more emotional rejection, I delt with that enough in high school and these games are supposed to be fun! Speaking of fun remember how I said I'm impatient? well in this game pretty much the only thing you can do for a long fucking time is sit in a room and clean solar panels which you need to do in order to do shit loads of stuff in the game, it's so tedious, what made it worse was after this point when the entire dynamic of the game changed (not sure how I was skipping through out of boardem) and the actually fun sex scenes started happening you basically go through the same sex scenes for WAY to long and the unique one's are nice but take a while to actually get to, maybe I just did it wrong but it took me like 40 minutes while skipping the scenes the to get to the shit endings. this game started out as my dream scenario trapped in space with a harem of females of questionable relation who eventually end up fucking the MC for one reason of another but turned into something completely different and while some may like how it turned out I didn't. The writing in general could use some work, especially with the long dialogue scenes.

ALL THAT BEING SAID!!! the art is very good the scenes could have been a little more animated the beginning but they got better as the game progressed more characters more chances for sex so on and so fourth there are a LOT of scenes. The gameplay while tedious could have been worse in a lot of ways so I need to give it some credit.

One thing in particular I you should take away from this review, if you haven't already, is that I didn't play the game right after a certain point when I wanted to get to the next scene or just didn't want to do so much reading with my dick in my hand so I missed crucial plot points and aspects that may show the game in a better light and I may have given me a different perspective on the game I can say with absolute confidence that I doubt it, highly. I know I missed things but I got the gist of most of it particularly the parts I didn't like.

In conclusion, There are definitely things to like in this game the art, the models, but it really didn't do it for me, and hey the game wasn't made for me it was made for everyone and I am positive some people really enjoyed a lot of things about it maybe you will too but I'm not writing your review I'm writing mine and for me it just wasn't the game I tend to gravitate to, I think going over everything again in my head the biggest problem with the game is that it seems like it's going to be my fantesy in action but derails into someone elses. So if you wan't a harem style game this ain't it chief, but if you want a game pretty much just about mindless fucking then this might be what you're looking for.

If you want the art then I can post my saves I got like most of the sex scenes I think and I have a bunch of days saved but this game doesn't have many save slots and I don't think I got every thing. Plus I can't label them or I don't know how, anywho just lemme know if ya want em.

I didn't really enjoy any of the sex scenes, even to the end. I genuinely enjoyed the setup and early developments of the characters, but by the end the game was nearly completely unrecognizable from its premise from the sheer amount of twists and the ending was pretty dissatisfying, but I kept playing to the end without stop meaning even if I didn't fully enjoy the story it was engaging enough for me to see it through.

engaging story, nice renders (though nothing special), clear cut characters, good and fairly humorous writing, rarely used, pretty cool space station setting (forgotten paradise is the other example i know of), acceptable level of grinding. i found this game to be fun and am looking forward to playing the sequel taking place in the boat.

I really liked the game.
Especially the end was nice. Some good fucking and some of the models were really hot.
Also the sex was hot. Some nice poses and some nice kinky stuff. I liked the slutty approach.
I will miss Rebecca. Hot model and a very sexy character.

Not a perfect, but still a good game. Better than most of the other games out there.

Sex scene become more and more dull, and the story is really bad. Twist does not make sense, and the whole character and story line is just badly made. Got really board after some time. The 3d models are ok, but they use the, pretty bad. scene are not so well made and are used up too much.

this game deserve better
-the voyeurism in the story ruined it and destroyed the whole game
(what is good about brother showing his sis and mother to online viewers)
-and beside that there is no choices
(the dev force you to live in his story)

-also no animation (consider it not there)

the first rendered animation look like you are in a real movie
but then the images and drawing good not perfect

i only gave it 3 stars because of the rendering and the story except voyeurism

Not a bad game but the ending was anti-climatic, and alittle confusing at first. But there is more coming a type of sequel, seeing as this was a prequel to it. So heres hoping that it can catch more stars and isn't a let down by the end of the story.

The renders are often pretty enough, but the dev doesn't have a good grasp of scene composition. We get static images that rarely tell us what is going on in the scene, instead we get the talking heads telling us everything. The animation is at it's absolute lowest level, which is just two frames cycling, no real effort here.

The story starts off in a compelling way with a lot of mystery as to whats going on. Unfortunately, as it progresses the story just gets dumber and finally comes to an abrupt and unsatisfying end. Not entirely terrible, but there is nothing much here to recommend it.

The ending was so rushed. Its clear that the dev got bored of the game and/or didnt know what to do in the story so he just rushed the ending in order to focus on new game. The beginning was so good until second part when the (spoiler) shots the guy. A really good and original idea that went downhill

I had high hopes for the game since the premise was very original, but a bad UI combined with a rather (imo) mediocre character progression made this unenjoyable for me. The UI was especially bad, as it felt like there was almost nothing in each area and it was hard to figure out where I was supposed to go and what I was supposed to do.

The story is pretty unique and interesting along with some nice looking art and decent sex this game is pretty good.
Some nice plot twists are in this game as well.

The game is still grinding and i'm not a fan of that and of voyeurism or NTR. I added a new rating gameplay and i gave it a 5/10 i also went from 4 stars to 3 stars for the game.
Again this rating can change after more updates!

Finished the game July 4th 2018
The ending was rushed and did not like it so my 3 star review stays the same.
I do love the story and characters along with decent sex everything else was average or bad.
It is good enough for more games to be made and hopefully better!

At first I thought that it was just a copy of Big Brother in space with same amount of stupid grind but I was pleasantly surprised. The story is way better and interesting (plot twists, drama etc) with substantially less grind than in most games. Characters and models are also another huge plus and never disappoint. Overall, this game is 4/5 and with a little less grind and mistakes in spelling/grammar it could easily achieve 5/5. Can't wait for new updates.

TL;DR: Just download it ! Amazing story full of surprises and nice character models.

Low grind and excellent art makes this a worthy successor to games like Big Brother. The included help system keeps players on track and there is very little moon man logic or mind reading the dev required to advance the plot.

I gotta say i am loving this game. I've played tons of these games and i gotta be honest...most have shit for story and tons of fappability. this game is impressive cause it has both an interesting story that has twistes and hot at the same time...and fappability...yes please. I can't wait for the next release.

I grabbed this last year, found it hard to navigate and gave up.

It's now over 6 months later I really like the models and the premise, so I thought I'd give it another go - and hey, there's a walkthrough, but the rooms are still not labelled - a tad confusing, but not impossible.

I just completed the current content (0.8.0) and oh boy am I hooked. There's some damn good writing here - take out the porn it'd make a decent short story. Leave the porn though, I like it - though why does Greg need a horse cock? They need zero G as that fucker would/should cripple most women!

Quite interesting in the first part, but after deep into the progression, I find the game lost it's charm.

It's only a few games using space theme, so this theme always welcome. But this game at first looks like a good sci-fi yet in the end just another generic forced bang-bang fuck fuck ugh-ugh.

The asset of the game are spot-on. Good model & good environment. But looking on the story, there's nothing to be praised. Like usual porn games, focus how to make sex scene and get approval by teen-horny-players.

Story build up relationship was okay, but when it close to happening and when it's happening, that's it, low quality. So, two thumbs up on first set up the game, 4 thumbs down on execution.

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on is v0.4.2...

I have to say this game/visual novel is ok... It does have it's share of issues, but it was very creative being sci-fi themed and the visuals were excellent, much better then a lot of vn's out there that use a lot of the same backdrops... It does have some of the overused Family Sex stuff, unfortunately...

The visuals for the characters were very very good, even though in situations where they were just hanging out in rooms, they seemed more like fashion models posing for the camera rather than being busy working in those sections, which kinda breaks the immersion a little bit... Don't get me wrong, they looked good, but perhaps randomizing them a bit with other types of posing sometimes, perahaps looking busy working, that way it would be less of a distraction from the story... Some did change depending on how deep into the main story line you were, which was very nice, even though they stayed in those poses each day you went back to those rooms, until the story went further... Once again the randomizing would be a nice touch...

The script was fun and interesting, although I am totally confused as to what is really happening, it's almost like several main stories are playing out all at the same time with very little tying them together, or lack of any hints as to what is really going on... I mean, you begin with a A.I. killing everyone for no apparent reason (story line one), then you almost immediately have the protagonist and his family beginning to have sexual thoughts about one another, amidst all this carnage and death in a situation where real survival should be more prevalent... But I dismissed it as creative license with the authors pushing the erotic story line much harder than the reality of what was happening... Then you have the supposed earth males wanting to sell porn scenes from the station, just out of the blue, and they don't get caught which is suspicious (story line two)... Then some perverted crew members attacking the protagonist, and fornicating for no apparent reason, other then to keep having sex together every day with the mystery guy filming them (story line three)... I get the feeling that they are mentally insane people who wanted to turn the station into a sex commune and used the AI to kill everyone off to achieve their goal, but who knows if that is actually the case, at this point is all a bit confusing... Then you have the mother of the stepsister arrive out of the blue, and she appears thus far just to be a focus for more sex scenes since that is all she could talk about and think about the entire time she's been on the station (possible story line four)... There is just far too much sub-plotting going on mixed with a bunch of erotic scenes that repeat, that the story begins to lose the fervor that it began with... The story starts strong, but then it just becomes a sex scene fest, filled with grinding...

Then we come to, what I suppose is a hidden, stat grind to fill the time between smaller scenes intended to push the plot along... There really isn't much to fill the game days with, other then a very small handful of actions before going on to the next game day... I spent so much time clicking on every station section between doing actual meaningful actions, just to make sure I didn't miss anything... This took up way more time than it should, because there really wasn't much to really do story wise until you grinded that all out for a while, which was very boring, repetitive, and tedious... The grind isn't as bad as some other vn/games, but it was bad enough to take away from the story and experience... Then when you got some more plot, it wasn't huge amounts of story movement, then you were back to the grind again... It began to look like grind grind grind, sex scene/small plot movement, grind grind grind, more of the same... Even the dice game, although it was a nice touch, became tedious because it was just repeating the same time sink for the same scene...

Over all, the main plot started off really strong, but became more of a sex romp with only a few plot twists (which were confusing) and actual story... Which was disappointing, as I thought the story had real potential, and in reality it became less of a visual novel and more of a porn grind fest... You can't really call it Open World, as you have very little in the way of places to go, and not much that you can actually do in those places, that isn't highly repetitive... You can't call it a Sandbox, because the story is very linear, and just because you can visit rooms and do a very small handful of repetitive activities doesn't make it a Sandbox...

I'ld say it had potential, but it focuses way too much on sex scenes followed by more sex scenes followed by more desire for sex scenes, lol, to be a meaningful and great visual novel... It's still not completed based on it's version number, but unless there is far more content added to all levels of the game, I will probably not re-visit this one, as I prefer it had more substance...

First things first, the cons: This is an incredibly linear game. Your choices have essentially no impact on game progression, either it can progress or it won't until you meet certain benchmarks. For interaction this game rates pretty low.

On the other side there are plenty of pros: An original setting! Your character actually is an important person who was doing important things, not some nameless nerd/nobody who becomes a sex god. The premise of this game alone deserves a couple of points. Beyond that the renders are decent, nothing stupendous but at least they do the job. The interface is nice and clean and doesn't look like the stock Ren'Py interface, I appreciated that. That coupled with a decent story means that I'll hopefully have a game to come back to as it develops into a more fleshed out product.

Definitely a cut above average.

Really interesting and well developed both setting and storyline.
One of the few games where female characters have normal size breast and are more than well drawn.
I can't recall major english mistakes and that's definitely a plus.
So, why to play? Because, despite incest is maybe too much exploited, it's also true this is a nice, fresh, smart way to give it a good reason to be. Because of graphics as well.

Very nice! In this game we have a unique and engaging concept and the plot has legs too. The addition of the Manix da Spynix Mom gave it a fun, unexpected twist as did the mini-game with her and your Step Sis. All that plus very enjoyable dialogue and banter; this is definitely one to watch.
