that's mostly a hardware issue, turn up your deadzone if you can't fix your joystickwho played in VR. is there any drift and how was it fought?
Kinda in theme to be honest Lmao, altough no horse shit in game yet. But yeah 8 was not the best windows they made to put it lightlylmao you have to be full dipshit to use windows 8 over 10....
8 was hot horseshit
Did you download the vr version or the win version?View attachment 3824164
Still can't get if this is a problem of absent VR.
In the manual said something about desktop mode and I hoped it would allow me to play w/o any VR.
But how to even start with this hard stop? Any ideas?
It was win version for sure.Did you download the vr version or the win version?
Hmm, do you use an old GPU perhaps? It was win version for sure.
And I just tried to launch VRStallion.exe
Perhaps... 'cause my laptop is really old and contains NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960MHmm, do you use an old GPU perhaps?

Since the game is made in unreal engine i assume its made in unreal engine 5, if i look up recommended ue 5 hardware specs they say the RTX2080. But that is recommended. I tested it out for you on my 1070, so its not RTX specific. Maybe your card is is too old if no driver updates are availible, that the only thing i can think of sadly.Perhaps... But where do I get hardware requirements then?
Small addition, i believe its because you can change to vr mode so your gpu needs to be vr compatible because there is no seperate non vr version you can switch between modes. So your gpu needs to at least support vr functionalitySince the game is made in unreal engine i assume its made in unreal engine 5, if i look up recommended ue 5 hardware specs they say the RTX2080. This is some sort of freak accident related to your system. Mine is also old as fuck, no "VR" gear on it whatsoever, yet it runs the Windows version just fine. The fact that the error message pops up on Google in only a handful of places is quite telling - meaning you're unlucky rather than "not meeting specs". If a GPU driver update doesn't help, I'm afraid you're SOL...It was win version for sure.

Nah, it's people willing to use windows 10 who need to (re)consider their life.shrugs, people still using anything less than windows 10 need to consider their life
As a counterpoint, neither VaM nor Sexlab are what I would consider easy to use, and the dev is doing both custom animations and IK and blending them together, which may be handled differently in those programs (or not at all). Also, the dev is very much just doing this as a learning aid. They're quite active at least, and I guess the goal for the next few updates is to be able to jerk off and blow the horse with realtime reactions/money shots from it. Setting up a scene like that in VaM as a beginner would be a huge chore for most users. This is kinda nothing. What could be a single VaM scene or a Sexlab animation pack is a huge stretch to make it's own 'game'.
Also, dev needs to remove the OpenXR binaries from the desktop release to prevent SteamVR from inadvertly launching.
Also also, disable the dick physics during pen or force parent the bones or something, as the dick not even aligning properly in an entire 3D environment dedicated to playing these specific animations is pretty horrible.
