Standalone Flash player problem

So I tried setting Flash player SA as a default program to open my .SWF files, but the problem is that it doesn't properly run them.
If I run the .swf, it does open standalone flash player but does not run the file at all.
I could however run the file via manually opening the file through Flash player SA.

seems like it adds some launch arguments when I open the .swf directly so I think this is the problem. I don't know how to remove this option though.

No clue, see if this helps. The video suggests to add the file (or the folder where the .swf is) to the trusted locations. Just a wild guess, apologies if it doesn't work.
