From my brief experience, the problem is that it makes the fights easier but not much else and even then, there are some fights that are still difficult even on the easy difficulties especially if you aren't prepared for them and sometimes even when you are.
Beyond the fights, there are many issues that can come from treating the game like any other lewd RPGM game where the more corruption means more lewds, it doesn't. More corruption doesn't mean you'll see more lewds it just means you'll have more points to corrupt Aura with, which won't immediately result in actual lewd scenes until later, and if you pass the corruption threshold you get a game over that's effectively Aura just dying. That's a, possibly unintended, trap I fell into on my first time playing where I tried to go all in on corruption only to realize halfway through that it's not a good thing to constantly get corruption points because it kills you.
Am I saying this is bad? Not in the slightest. It's important to understand that this is not a regular lewd game; it could take hours over the course of multiple days to even get halfway through the story, and that's the issue. The game is very long, and most people could look at the difficulty options and think "normal mode shouldn't be all that difficult" or "this shouldn't take very long" when it really is and actually will. That's not even mentioning how the easiest difficulty feels more like a normal mode than actual normal mode, at least to me. A lot of people might not have the patience to go through hours of the game only to get barely any lewds compared to the time they invested, but that's really just my opinion.
If there are any inaccuracies here blame that on my not actually playing the game in a while and feel free to add/correct anything here.
