Ren'Py - Star Periphery [v0.6.1] [VoidPilgrim]

I like Lise sooo much. I love their encounter and the morning scene. The whole Game has something.

I hope it gets some updates although i haven´t reched the end yet.
I like the storytelling and thePics.

I'm not a fan of femdom and sissification. Then again, I wasn't a fan of historical romances, either, until I started reading Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series back in the nineties. They hooked me, and Star Periphery did the same.

I'll keep this as spoiler-free as possible.

I gave this game a look because I like futa. The story, characters and visuals did the rest. This game tells an engaging story with a sexy cast that grows on you, and does it in a seductively sleazy sci-fi/noir setting.

VirtualPilgrim has created an appealingly gritty little universe filled with gorgeous dominant futas and femboys on the make. Again, not typically my thing, but the characters are such well-drawn individuals that the game kept slipping past my prejudices.

Things move at a good pace both in terms of plot wrinkles and sexual encounters. There's no blue-balling; even the chastity route is optional. I did not opt for sissification, and the game made that easy by helpfully indicating the sissifying choices with easily-avoidable pink text.

What isn't optional is tons of hardcore futadom action. Strangely, this wasn't the dealbreaker I thought it would be. I was so invested in the characters that I found myself rooting for them to rail the MC's cute chubby butt. Your reaction may differ, so play at your own risk.

The visuals are great, professional caliber. The lighting is competently done and very atmospheric. The environments are detailed and carry a consistent nuts-and-bolts hard science fiction aesthetic. Periphery Station X is a dirty, dangerous and exciting place, (kinda like an X-rated Mos Eisley in deep space) and every picture conveys that vibe.

In terms of appearance, the LI's are all unique with builds spanning everything from muscular to pleasingly plump. They are all unique in terms of character, too; each one has a mind and personality of her own. They are all futas and in different ways, all gorgeous.

My main critiscism of the game's visuals is that there aren't enough of them. Especially during the sex scenes, when the text describing the action rushes ahead to describe things that aren't onscreen. More showing and less telling would be better.

Also, many sex scenes have the futa's faces out-of-frame. This is a mistake; faces are sexy. I get that the author is choosing a tighter focus on the hardcore bits, but when the whole bottom half of their face is visible, really why not show their entire face? VoidPilgrim is decent with facial expressions and it's a shame not to see them.

Not to say that the visual storytelling isn't strong (it is), but things would be a lot more immersive with more reaction shots. A face filling the screen with lust, fear, doubt or love lends immense power to a visual narrative.

VoidPilgrim's writing is tight, literate, and effective. They know their source material and clearly have a blast playing with it. They quickly establish a pleasing space-noir tone and maintain it consistently throughout the story. Aside from the odd typo, this level of competency is incredibly refreshing in the VNiverse.

One note: things do tend to get repetitious during the side quest sex scenes. (S)He really likes the word sultry a lot. Still leaps and bounds ahead of yer run-of-the-mill VN.

Animations are non-existent. If this game had even half-decent anims, it would be worth more than five stars.

Likewise, the sound design is sparse. The royalty-free soundtrack is well-chosen and tonally appropriate, but there are no voices or soundscapes. Some feminine moans and dirty talk would enhance this game tremendously.

So a solid four stars with room for improvement. Absolutely worth trying and even supporting, even if it's not your usual thing.

Now this is the first game that convinced me to actually support an artist. The attention to detail, writing, models ... well everything is exceptional. The developer's communication is always transparent and in a fashion deserving of such a project.

As to the game. It is a more lighthearted story of juicy (mostly) futa-ladies in space and twink-kun in between. And it follows that vision very well.
I think it is the best futa on twink game out there by a large margin.

Definitely worth your time.

Give the MC a little more tiddy and he is the best LI in this novel. I like futas and really wanted to like this AVN as the writing is excellent. I couldn't get over the lack of animations and couldn't get the old rocks off. I fell victim to just one more scene will do it and it never did before getting to the end of the current version. If animations are not a deal breaker, this is a must try AVN.

Renders)
The renders in this game are amazing. They are possibly if not some of the best work on this site. Easaly the best 3d renders in the Futadom category. Very detailed with perfect proportions for characters and the soroundings.

Characters)
The chracters look amazing, are all very attractive and each one of them has a unique personality. They all have interests, opinions and goals to them. Also Mistress Iris Nr. 1

Story)
Despite the current build not being that far ahead in the story, the narrative which we are given here is quite excelent. It slowly builds up and keeps you questioning what will happen next.

Worldbuilding)
Best for last. Few other games mangaed to reel me in that much with its worldbuilding. A lot of renders depict the setting of StarPeriphery beautifuly. Lots of little details, side chracters, buildings, spacecrafts, aliens and so much more. Its quite fun to explore all the renders and discover all sorts of things. A lot of the written dialouge also goes to great lengths to flesh out the chracters and gives explinations to how and why certain things work. No matter the chracter, faction or alien introduced I always want to know more about them and read through everything I can find.

Tldr. 10/10 would do again

Get fucked by beautiful women the game. This is a straight to the point porn game, after you get introduced to the world around you its pretty easy to find your way to the sex scenes. Dev did a good job with the renders and writing and it has plenty of option to choose from.

I love futa. There are many futa here. Different futa. Futa paradise. With each update the story about futa is interesting. Futa are becoming more diverse. Futa Futa Futa....
It is hard to find a more beautiful 3D. I really hope that star_periphery will become even more popular!

Excellent game so far (ver0.6.1). I've played a bit of the ship story and even though I think I did some, well several, things out of order, it is easy enough to follow.
Great story, wonderful images, and very enjoyable. I am already connected to several of the NPCs! I like the variety and noticeable differences in the NPCs and encounters. Please keep up the great work

a game that deserves a little attention, graphics of exemplary quality, a scenario and dialogues are more than correct, a lot of characters are ultra endearing ... despite the fact that it is not my sexual orientation, I would have liked not to know this game because today I have completely become addicted to it (not a single second of my days can I not get the phalluses of the main characters out of my cortex) for me this game amply deserves its 5 stars, I hope that the game will continue to develop for a long time, looking forward to seeing the rest of this game ... and I wish the developers VoidPilgrim good luck

I gave the game a second try after I quit it overhasty and got convinced to try it again by some comments and ratings.

To start things off: the renders are amazing and really fit the game. Yet, I still go by my wish to have animations in this game. But they aren't necessary, as comments suggested.
BUT when some “scenes” have multiple interactions, but you're stuck on just one frame and go through dialogue. For example the 3 goblin sex scenes which is rather scarce when it comes to the renders itself. You have plenty of text but not enough frames in my opinion.
Sometimes you stare at one “frame” for several minutes and through text you get to know what happens, but you don't see anything on screen really. Kind of a bummer.

I noticed plenty of typos within the first 1–2 hours of playing. I hope before the final release, they get ironed out.

The story is incredible and got me hooked after I got through the intro, if you want to call it that.

As for the MC, I'd wish for the more feminine approach of hairstyle and some small breasts instead of being stuck in between some gender confusion.

All the characters are super hot definitely like to see more with every character and the glory hole as well!

Star Periphery is a great game based on the Futa on Femboy theme. Initially, I was put off because I'm not a fan of 3D, Sci-Fi, and especially not a fan of overly wide hips and very thick girls (I'm okay with big breasts, though). And this game is full of them.

However, after a few minutes of clicking through the text, the game's atmosphere drew me in so much that I had to start from the beginning. This time, though, I read carefully. And that is definitely the strongest point of this game: the world, the atmosphere, the dialogues, the characters, etc.

I can't evaluate the plot just yet, as we're still in the stage of exploring the world, but the potential is enormous. Besides, the game is exactly what a lewd game should be. Simple to operate, without unnecessary annoying mechanics artificially extending the gameplay. Instead, there are lots of erotic scenes, rendered with a decent amount of visuals.

The game is exceptionally beautiful, and with each update, it's getting even more stunning, as the creator polishes their skills and implements them into the game.

If I had to point out any downsides, I would mention a few shortcomings. For example, sometimes while the game is telling a story, the screen remains black. You just wish that empty space were filled with any render, but this happens very rarely.

Or the game informs us that the character we're talking to winked at us or started biting their lip with desire. But we don't see that on the screen. The render doesn't change, and personally, I really miss that. I feel like we lose quite a bit because of this little thing. It breaks the immersion for me.
When talking to a character in the game, and their facial expression changes according to the situation, it’s much easier to immerse yourself in the character you're playing, and the story pulls you in.

I was wondering whether to give the game 5 stars (I'll emphasize that I'm quite critical when it comes to game reviews). But when I compared Star Periphery with other games rated 4.5, I got rid of my doubts. This game presents a much higher level, and it wouldn’t be fair to give it a lower rating.

Will start by saying this game is amazing.


Set into a space scifi setting where The Union, a militaristic human government, already expanded over a sector of the known galaxy.
We follow the protagonist nicknamed Spacer, by the Union intelligence network, as he finally reaches the PS-X a space station at the edge of human space.
The place is also a melting pot thanks to having aquired its independence from the Union and being a safe haven for all the undeseribles the Union expelled from their core worlds: like for instance several alien species, people with lots of cybernetic modifications, futas and their families.
That is right, this is one of those rare gems: a futa on male game. ♥♥♥

Passing the synopsis we need to talk about the renders. They are gorgeous. Full of details on the character models, the scenarios, the robots and mech suits and the spaceships which is a must in a space scifi. As a plus those models were also heavily modified by the developer to suit the needs of the story he wishes to tell, so we won't be finding generic models here for the most part and specially on characters and scenarios.

Speaking of characters special attention was given to make the main cast (and even some of the side ones) unique. They all have their own stories and personalities. Amira and Lise may have both Union military background but while Lise has a quirky personality Amira has a more reserved one.
Iris the medical chief is a hardcore dom but maybe also have a softer side and Tess is the workholic who comands the despina ship and who gives some mommy vibes.
We still have the tall blue alien Markala who is responsible for the moving of goods in the station's spaceports, Ginny the owner of a seedy bar who is also behind a smuggling ring that helped bring Spacer from the Periphery Station 2 to station 10 (PS-X). And for last there is the mysterious pirate Eleanor.

Now speaking of Spacer, while we can mold his decisions in the game i am quite happy with how the story has been feeding some small details here and there about his past. Like how he is definitelly accostumed to doing theft and some spy work (with the way he tail a sahdy character to a even shaddier meeting) and even his past relationship with Ginny (doing some work for her) before coming to PS-X.

The ship models are also a pleasure to see, which is a must on a space scifi and finally the alien models.
I really love seeing some of the most different species like the tarnians which are Markala's species, the Zhabrani who are represented so far by the tall and slender ship courier and the creepy Stretchers who i like to call Xenos because of the clear influence on their design. Confess that orcs and goblins i associate more with fantasy settings but there are a lot more aliens species to see around the game.

Game is still lacking on the sound department but the developer already said he has plans for it.

All i all if you like space scifis, aliens, futas e femboys this game is a must play. 10/10

An outstanding game in this genre. This one of the very few futanari on femboy games that has a greater attention to detail despite the lack of animations. Even so, the game is constantly improving with incremental changes with each update along with the story and renders.
VoidPilgrim is constantly refining all of the renders in the game, past and present to deliver a very unique looking and aesthetically appealing Sci Fi adventure VN.
All of the sexual encounters cater exclusively to VP's vision of dominant futanaris pounding the femboy MC throughout the space adventure. What makes the kink stand out in this VN however, is there are different varieties of domination depicted by all of the ladies: motherly, rough, cold, sweet, or just downright slutty.
Not to mention the variety of aliens already present and more wild stuff to come.
This VN stands out not only as a really good futanari on femboy game (which there are very few of), but as a really good VN altogether.

So. Story, World, art, characters, all awesome. VP saw an absence of the type of game they wanted to see, and rather than grumbling, set out to correct that issue. Honestly one of the BEST Futa games I have played.
Down side
Limited content, at the moment, but the amount is steadily increasing.
More of a VN than a game, to be honest, but very enjoyable.
One person "team", so updates run approximately every 2 months or so. VP has wisely chosen not to force themselves into the trap of scheduled updates. Dinner is done when it is done. Like the Miso soup story, the best things take time to finish.

Honestly, any thing more I could say would be just regurgitating the statements of others.

Excelent CGs, interesting characters, VERY erotic and exciting scenarios. Probably my favourite lewd game in the last few years. It seems sad to me that this game doesn't get as much publicity as other projects, since it stands head and shoulders above most of what's on this platform in quality. I know the fetish is specific, but even among the other futa on male games it's less known. I hope the developer eventually gets the recognition they deserve.

Star Periphery is really out ahead in it's genre. Beautiful renders, loveable cast, intriguing storyline, and easter eggs galore. The only downside is that Void has only just recently gotten started so the content is limited. If you're a fan of Sci Fi and like futa on femboy, you've found a comfy place to stay.

If your kink is dickgirl on femboy this game is a must play.

Beautiful renders, exceptional wordbuilding, strong personalities and a blank slate MC makes is to you can really immerse yourself in this game.

The dev also posts frequently on this forum and engages with the community a lot, combined with frequent updates and a vision where the game goes is really assuring relating to the future of this game.

Anyway the only bad thing i can say is that the game is too short, if you can even call that criticism.

I played through all the available content and it's one of the best games I've seen on here. The creator clearly put a lot of effort and thought into the writing of the story and characters. Very high quality writing in general with no obvious errors unlike many other VN style games out there.

The characters are all great, even if they aren't fully fleshed out yet. There is a lot of diversity in personality. The MC is really likeable as well, with a clear goal and working towards it, not making any unreasonable or nonsensical decisions.

Love the Sci-Fi environment and main plot of the story. Great tension building so far, with 2 main antagonist forces threatening the space station where the current plot takes place.
There is so much potential for future updates too, with different planets, alien races and space travel events on the Despina (the big cargo space ship the MC tries to get hired on).

Awesome HQ renders and hot sex scenes.

I'll definitly be back for future updates.
