Ren'Py - Star Periphery [v0.6.1] [VoidPilgrim]

This game is pretty fantastic.

I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to nsfw games as the quality is so varying. My only real gripe with this game is that I wish it was a bit more clear when you're completed all the available content but once the game is finished that will clearly not be an issue.

The CGs are incredible, amazing rendering and the girls are fantastic. This type of content is pretty rare as well so very glad to have such a high quality game with it out there.

Also love that there are some monster girls in there as well but keeping with a similar theme.

At the moment it's pretty much just a kinetic novel without much 'gameplay' so to speak, (just clicking to areas to get anew scene) but also appreciate that there is not needless grinding. But with the expansion of the job system it should add that extra level.

Long version: This is a great game. The renders are beautiful, the characters look amazing, they are all unique both visually and in personality. Usually open world games are tedious and grindy, but Star Periphery is just fine, the open world part fits nicely and is used as a choice mechanic. And I honestly can say, that I'm okay with the MC being a sissy boy, cause the futa girls are just so sexy and lovely, that I feel okay giving myself to them.
@VoidPilgrim is genuinely a great developer and a really nice person. You are doing great, keep up the great work and keep doing what you like. We'll love it, I'm sure.

Descriptive writing that supports in depth, larger than life scenes.
Like-able characters, even the "villains", all come with charming, and when appropriate, sexy dialog.
While I understand some game makers attempts to cover everyone's kink, as in both Top and bottom, Dom and sub, it almost never gets pulled off well.
In Star Periphery, I am trying my best to get through my difficult situation without giving too much up to the many NPC's who want a piece of me.
I try to put up a good fight, but at the end of the day(or situation) I land myself in a well set up C/NC scene. Also, these are scenes that I don't have to "sign off" on every scene, by being forced to make poor choices put there to help "the slight of heart" make it through a game without getting their feelings hurt.
I understand fully that people have triggers from past traumas, but we are always warned thoroughly before starting each game! If you see this warning, it is time for you to bail. There are 20,000 more games out there to choose from. Stop "hamstringing" game writers to provide a game for you that goes well with a glass of warm milk.
Ooooops! I digress.
I was simply trying to say that the writer(s) of Star Periphery stay focused and make a great game for those who like the kinks provided in the game description.
While the world on the Periphery is a dark dystopia, the writing is kept light enough, with a good amount of humor that isn't forced , multiple storylines that connect and "missions" that I can go out on, return from after getting my brains completely fucked out, and be able to take on a new mission not feeling permanently "broken in" by the mission before.

As of v0.3 the game is excellent so far with a surprising amount of content. Futa on sissy/femboy is a top-tier pairing. The writing is good, although I think there can be too much exposition at times. The models are all high quality as well, especially the femboy MC. With an interesting setting I'm really excited to see how the story and game develops.

I also appreciate that there is only a minimal amount of humiliation and most of it seems optional. It's often super prevalent in sissy games, but has never been my cup of tea so it's refreshing to see a game light on it.

More than that, I used to be quite skeptical of this style of game (renpy), but games like this made me reconsider as you can see the versality of your choices.

This game had tons of choices, and yes, you can get a "bad" ending if you are not careful.

I like the character designs and the creator did a decent job to make them more than one-dimensional.

In a genre that is highly underestimated, this is one that sticks out of the bunch, outside of the bigger games (you know the more famous ones).

The only thing I could suggest to the creator is to keep this game updated, and if you are able to add more scenes with the current characters to flesh out their sub-stories more, that would be awesome.

If this is your thing and your kink, give this one a try.

This game as for the version 0.3 is not the most fun to play. I have to recognize that the theme of futanari girls is respected and totally assumed, but the resulting scenario and characters are too one-sided and lack nuance. All the girls are big-cock futas trying to take advantage of the poor MC and all the stories seem redundant at the end. The gameplay as it is is seriously lacking. This game should be tagged as a VN, because choices and gameplay are inexistant and only focuses on large parts of uncontrollable dialogues and sex scenes. Worth checking if big cock futa domination is your absolute fantasy but overall average game. 2.5/5

Only 54 reviews? The heck? This is one of the best futa/femdom games out there. Great characters, high quality graphics, and well written story/scenes. A similar game to this is Femcity 0.3 (similarly good characters, graphcis, story) but Star Periphery has more content and is updated more regularly. Before these two there was nothing super awesome. I thought Futuadom World Binding Sim was one of the best, but this blew it out of the water.

This game is absolutly amazing. The renders are really gorgeous and it has nice world building. Its nice to see a game that focuses on these niche tags like Futadom. It has a good mix between Story and Porn. The sex scenes are really well rendered and are very descriptive. Even in this early stage a real pleasure to play.

Extraordinary (although vaguely generic by sci-fi standards) presentation and worldbuilding. Great renders. Very good balance between plot and porn. Nice to see a high quality game with a more niche focus (it's basically all futa on femboy).

As of now, most choices lean toward the typical "do the kinky thing or don't" (in this case "worship the cock or don't"). Going forward, it would be nice to have more optional kinks or branching sex scenes. (Edit: this applies to choice in sex scenes. There's a decent amount of choice in plot scenes, although I didn't explore other forks after my first playthrough.)

Also a shame is that there's very little repeatability. The game has a hub world structure where you pick what to do for the day. It would be cool to have smaller-scale events; not every scene needs to be a 10 minute spectacle, I would like to see even minor flavor dialogues or small random events.

None of my nitpicks detract from my 5 star score.

Edit: as an extra plus, I appreciate the all-futa cast without the cringe explanation that many other futa games do, e.g. "there was a virus that sissified the men and futa-ed the women" or whatever

OMG, just like everyone is saying, this game is absolutely amazing! It's the best futa game I have ever played, and surprisingly, it doesn't even have any animations. However, the visual novel is incredibly erotic and well-written. The dialogue and renders alone is enough to turn you on. the plot is exceptionally rich the characters are amazing. Just Everything about this game is astounding. I usually don't enjoy submissive games where you get dominated, but this one is different. I must give props to the developer for creating this masterpiece. This is exactly what a futa game should be.

This is such an awesome game.

And that is without even considering how specific the fetish is, futadom combined with some sissyfication stuff, just on its merit as a really nice choose your own adventure/visual novel with really nice character interactions.

But in a way where it still is enjoyable even it that is not your core fetish.

They all seem to really appreciate you as a monumentally great bottom. X) So far all of the sex has been futa doing me in different ways, always making me spunk a lot. There has been one brief "lover" that was more tentacle and strictly speaking didn't have a gender. Outside of the fucking and teasing and flirting there is a layer of enjoyable human interaction that provides a good counterbalance and allows you to actually enjoy the LIs as characters. This goes nicely with the unfolding of a rich, multifaceted story. Briefly:You've come to this station to become a spacer, learning a trade that can involve salvaging, shipping, smuggling and giving the authorities the finger. You do this before the background of a rather anarchic outpost/tradepost space station that is about to undergo some turbulence of its own.

Technically: No grinding. Plenty of real choices. Really nice (and sexy) renders. I never once needed a save game, every time you run into a bad end, you get to return to your previous choice.

Of course when a game is this good, I find myself exploring all of the branches, I don't want to miss any of the content after all. So yes the game has many choices, but for me personally none of them are optional. I'm too greedy.

My only two complaints:
Waiting for updates is going to drive me nuts, not because the dev is slow, but because I cannot get enought of this.
And also, making do with the majority of the other futa games out there has just become so much harder. How can I settle for less after experiencing this fine work.

Great experience, wasn't sure about the game from the title. But the characters and the story are what sell the game for me. Outstanding game, best in this category. Exceeded by far my expectations and was more than a little pleasant surprise

This is a very solid game. Writing is good and art is flawless. Lot of work went int it and it is certainly labour of love. If you like chicks with large dicks and thicc bodies you can't find anything better.

When I saw that a futa-centric game had a perfect five out of five rating on F95, I had to give it a download and see if the reviews were justified.

You'd think that a game centered entirely on dominant futas topping a short femboy would be extremely one-dimensional. However, the writer has managed to form an incredible variety of stories and relationships out of this theme. Some of the love interests are tender and caring. Some are friendly and helpful. Others are overbearing and controlling. Some even jump around the spectrum a bit, depending on context within the story. What's more, most all of the female characters seem to respect the MC in some way (even of only as a toy they don't want to lose), which will leave you anticipating how their relationships will develop. In other words, the non-sexual scenes don't feel like downtime in between the "good parts." It's pretty much all good, just in different ways.

The writer has accomplished the impossible: Producing actual romance throughout a game in which a bunch of busty dickgirls dump gallons of cum down a twink's ass and throat. Ernest Hemingway wishes he was this good.

The renders are also very high quality. It's refreshing when a 3d artist properly incorporates lighting into a scene, which is done very effectively in Star Preriphery's sci-fi setting. Animations would have been nice, but the stills definitely get the job done. And while it wouldn't be accurate to say there is a lot of variety in the appearance of the female characters (they are all of a particular type), there is enough variation in them for you to choose a favorite. You might even be able to pick your best girl's dick out of a police lineup.

The game is not without its faults. Audio is mostly nonexistent. While there are a few songs, they're almost all in Ginny's bar (a small portion of the game). The remainder of your experience will be fairly silent. Even a little bit of ambience, such as spaceport/machinery sounds or background chatter in crowded areas would be a huge improvement. Thankfully, the developer has acknowledged this shortcoming, and given their receptive nature, we can expect major improvements in this department.

Additionally, there are a few small incongruities in the renders and the writing. The text tells you that a character extends her gloved hand, but she's not actually wearing any gloves. Sometimes the MC is wearing a jacket in one shot, but then for no reason it's gone in the next. But these issues are extremely minor: The kind of thing that makes you raise the occasional eyebrow, nothing more.

Having just finished what's available so far, I can confirm that Star Periphery has entirely earned its score. The developer has a genuine interest in the futa genre, and it shows in the quality of their work. I gladly toss five more stars onto the pile. Download and enjoy.

I know I'm just repeating the chorus here but I've rated so many poor and mediocre futa games lately figured I'd at least add to the positivity of this one.

Despite not being a fan of sandbox style games, this game is just excellent. It hits on lots of kinks, the renders are amazing and the writing is well done.

The only thing it really lacks is animations, but dev(s) make up for it by having several great renders during h scenes and more importantly, good writing during the h scenes. So many others have short scenes and little to know writing.

If any improvements could be made, it might be adding some ui elements to have some idea of stats and possible a hint/task indicator since I think it's easier to miss scenes in sandbox style games. 4.5/5 rounded up. Great job!

Been a while since I did a review, but so far this game has so much going for it.

Too many "Futadom" games tease and tease for update after update. Its refreshing to find one that isnt afraid to be about what it is about.

The variety of scenarios and kinks already set up is hugely promising. There is something for everyone who appreciates a hot girl with a huge cock in this. From dominant Mistresses to gentle Mommy types, from gentle love making to mind meltingly hot domination

And fuck if the "Bad Ends" aren't fun in their own right. 100% was willing to call it a finished game at the end of the It seemed like a perfect ending for our hero.

Honestly one of the best futadom games out there, if not the best in the genre. I really hope VoidPilgrim keeps up the stellar work, update 0.3 was honestly fucking amazing, this update alone was enough to get me to sub to his patreon, it's worth every fuckin dime.

Playing this at the .3 update and I say it does a pretty good job for the futa on femboy aesthetic. Pretty solid scenes with different alien species getting involved as well. would have loved to see them animated, but really solid work over all so far. looking forward to seeing this finished. 9/10
