Unity - Starmaker Story [v1.6b] [Arvus Games]

This a 3 for a couple very specific reasons that pull it down for me.

You can mute the annoying ass music but you CAN NOT mute the sound effects and the voices that take place as well. Could be good but when the sound track flakes out and you get a series of annoying dolphin sounds instead it means to get it to stop I must now mute my computer instead. Not so good for me. I do business in the background and now my notification sounds are also muted.

In order to save your game you must tell the game to exit. Found this little feature finally when I got so pissed off I decided to leave.

You really should get the walkthrough as the in game hints suck balls and give you very little guidance.

In game mini games (Which Dev's please take note, you may like them but a majority of us hate this feature with a passion. They are annoying time waste features.) really suck badly as there is piss poor guidance as to what you should be doing in them to achieve the optimal results. And since there is a damn mini game for everything you need to do to advance the game prepare to be annoyed a LOT.

And the biggest kicker. You grind your ass off and finally have earned the elusive in game sex scene and.....its four quick pictures, if you are lucky, of various penetration scenes. No animation. No that would be asking way to much apparently. My God, Dev. if teh sex blows you just ruined the entire premise of playing an ADULT themed sex oreiented visual novel. Story is great but come on, we are all here for teh sex.

Great premise. Piss poor delivery. Dev, fix your shit and I will gladly throw more stars at you. Looks alone are why you have the 3. The grind in this is terrible as well. Not as bad as a lot but still not pleasant either. For the prices you have to pay out for items in teh game though. 32 in game days and I was broke as hell still.

Um paid 20000 to send annoying useless Adrian to Japan yet the annoying sack of meat is still there? Things don't always make sense.

over the years i've completed upwards of hundreds of nsfw games. this is very easily top 10 for me. honestly probably top 5. really love this game insane work. the thing that surprised me the most was how many random side characters i ran into that actually have fully fledged story lines and scenes. was not expecting that at all. progressing doesn't feel repetitive either, especially when random events pop up. anna has a TON of content which gives me a bias for this game but if you're likeminded then you'll probably also really like this game. only thing i wish was better was explaining what beginning a story route means. i thought that starting a route with a side character would mean it would influence which ending you would get which isn't the case. leaving this review after about 15 hours logged. this is the first time i've ever felt like leaving a review for a game. please keep going

Truly awesome. Fine tuned balance between grind and progress. Dev got a aurea mediocritas between repeatable events and moving forward. Pixel art is breath of fresh air compared to 3D and AI generated pictures dominating the market.

I have no idea how I didn't stumble across this sooner. Maybe it's because it had "AI" as a tag and I usually skip those. Not because I'm against AI, I actually use it every day and think it's going to lead to some amazing innovations, including in gaming. But every AI game I've tried so far, even the popular ones, felt like complete slop. Nothing special. I don’t get the hype.

But this... this game is exactly what I’ve been waiting for when it comes to AI in games. It's basically perfect. The only reason I’m not giving it a full 5 is because it still needs a bit of work. It reminds me a lot of NTRHolic, but just needs some polish. A minimap to show where characters are at home, especially Anna, would be super helpful. Right now I just check every room before bed to make sure I’m not missing anything. It would also be nice to have a tracker showing progress with her love or affection and what triggers the next stage. I’ve been buying gifts and doing everything I can, just hoping it eventually unlocks. It’s not as clear or intuitive as something like Summer Memories. It can get a bit grindy and repetitive between those heart unlocks, especially once you’ve already seen most of the new content.

That said, there’s way more good than bad here. I could not stop playing once I started and was completely hooked. This is the best use of AI I’ve seen in a game so far. Honestly, it’s hard to even tell it’s AI until some of the sex scenes, where it becomes more noticeable. I’d be shocked if the pixel art is AI-generated, it looks amazing. The scenes are hot, the characters are super attractive, the writing is good, and the story with the mom is especially spicy. There are a ton of choices. I don’t know if they’re just the illusion of choice yet, but it feels like my decisions matter and shape the route I take. The weekly structure of the game makes events feel spaced out in a natural way, giving them more impact. The buildup is really well done. The tower defense style mini game at work is actually pretty fun. The core system is solid, it just needs some extra features to make everything smoother.

Animations would be nice in the future, but even as-is, the art is fantastic. Easily a solid 4/5 with the potential to hit 5. It’s right up there with NTRHolic for me. And for a game using AI? It’s genuinely impressive. This doesn't feel like AI slop at all. Not even a little. That alone earns it extra points. It’s a great example of how AI can actually be used well in these kinds of games.

This is the best AI generated game you'll ever play and an actual 10/10 smut game.

If you're into a long and well made experience, I suggest you give this one a try -- especially if thicc milfs are your type.

Even the NTR content is done in a decent way and not just outwardly degenerate and degrading towards the player or the characters, and it's entirely skippable.

I have not yet finished the whole game but I had to stop to type this review, this game is amazing, the characters art look very nice, the wide options of outfits, poses random encounters, everything is amazing, I just wish we could have a little more animation, not much, just like bounce for the tits in scenes or sprites aside from that, this is one of the best games and it proves that AI used to make great stuff and not only garbage

Very good game mostly the main routes are complete. I would love more netori and less sharing(We only get one scene (ass)fucking Anna with Josef at the other side of the door). Not sharing actually locks out one of the vacations destination which was pretty bad. Otherwise the futa and trap characters are optional, why are they in a 99% het game? Tokenism? It was a bit odd rather than offensive. It is also odd that Charlotte is anal only because reasons, that one is rather annoying.
The minigames are serviceable and not extremely hard though after beating them once a skip button would be appreciated. The only fun one was the moto orgasm racing game.
Warning thought, this is NOT for flat chests enthusiasts or loli lovers.

The actual onlyfans parody part do need a bit expanding as doing a single photo in attire per session is meh, the porn section gets boring fast as they have single static dialogues and i don't see the point of the streaming part at all.
I wanted to give it 4.5 but i cant so it gets a 5 mostly because i love big boobs and netori.

Probably the most perfect usecase for AI in any game I've seen so far. It has a few discrepancies with clothes and sometimes the character can look completely different, but it's all pretty acceptable. It's also really easy to just miss content and the walkthrough pdf is complete dogshit. It's also missing very basic features like a settings screen for anything. The star swipe transition to every screen quickly gets cumbersome and annoying when you need to get through 3-7 of them to get anywhere in the game. Finally, rather buggy.

However, it's surprising how good the art is considering it's made by AI, and the game itself is built pretty well, with a lot of fun LIs (if a bug or a wrong decision didn't lock you out of them...). Minigames are mostly functional, pretty fun (if not repetitive after a while) and short.

This is pretty much a gold standard when it comes to AIart games and what I wanted to see from the whole trend in the first place. Well done, but still needs a ton of polish.

This is peak use of AI. The images are actually coherent and look good. The game has a high sense of polish that will just get better. I personally feel that they are adding too much characters but that is to one's taste. Looking forward to the development of this game.

Arvus already makes really good gamess, but Starmaker is shaping up to be the best of the bunch. I love the art even though I don't usually like the whole '100 pound tits' sorta thing. The gameplay is also really polished. It hits a nice balacnce of actual game while not being a porn-desert. The only issues so far are the ui, which really needs some work, and some art which looks way to shiny.

It's not a bad game, but the sex scenes are just 3-4 AI-generated images and that's it...

The story is mediocre, the minigames are mediocre, and worst of all:
moving between areas is TEDIOUS. I swear to God I’d beat up whoever added the star transition—every time I change areas, I almost get an aneurysm! and you have to change areas all the time to check where is the mother.

This is a very impressive game. Tons of content with excellent presentation. There's a lot of content in this game already, and I like that it's not just some quick story to breeze through in an hour.

Now, this game does have some glaring flaws when it comes to convenience and quality of life. There were some game breaking glitches that forced me to either miss out on scenes or get soft locked. As far as I know, the game also has no volume slider and you can only save in your room. These are just pure annoyances.

But considering the game is still in the middle of development, I feel confident in endorsing the game. The game is already impressive and nails what is important and its problems are mostly technical and can be ironed out easily. The fact that this game still has more content left to be added is kind of hard to believe but I guess this already great game still has even more to offer in the future.

I'm not a fan of ai art but here they used it in a reasonable way and the art of the characters is really nice, this game has a lot of potential, the amount of content it already has is very nice for an early release, i hope it keeps getting better

This game demonstrates that using AI can achieve miracles, especially when it comes to renderings consistency. Honestly, I'm looking forward to seeing how the game evolves over time. This is one of the very few games of the genre that really interested me in terms of storyline. And despite the "little" content currently [1.5c], I already find that more than "reasonable".
So good that it makes me want to leave a rating.

This is a very nice and spicy game, all the scenes are basicaly just pictures shown quickly and some can't be repeated witch is sad, cause some girls have some hot scenes you will not see again, the lack of a proper save system is also an inssue. but all the rest is nice, the story is basic but gets the job done I feel like the scenario is where the game shines the most, the idea of a naughty and free city where gorgeous woman are there for you to conquer them. There is plenty of side content for that and the main story fun to follow. This is a huge interactive world for you to see some naughty and spicy pictures in a beatiful pixel style. Not for everyone, but if you liked the first hour or so you'll have a great time here.

To be completely honest i don't really know why i liked this game so much, but i did.
It's all AI art, minigames are boring as fuck with a lot of unnecesary grind, too much sandbox bs of "checking this exact place at this exact day". I can go on and on tbh, but nontheless i enjoyed it, maybe because of the diversity of characters, routes, the pixel art (even tho. again, it is ai generated), or just because it mostly goes straight to the porn with not too much annoying dialogue.

so...yeah, definetely a weird one for me but i gotta respect the enjoyment i got out of it so you should try it at least.

I did not expect this game to be this interesting, I haven't played a whole lot but it has some depth and story. For me that's the most important feature, something that has story and a lot of things to explore and choose from. There seems to be actual choices that change the game course of the story, like choosing "paths" with characters that can potentially add scenes etc.

And this isn't even finished yet, so if it DOES finish there is going to be a lot of content. To me this seems like a great project it's AI generated art but for me that doesn't matter at all it's still very pretty, but I do love pixel art so maybe I'm biased

Starmaker Story is a messy-but-charming adult sandbox RPG . Its strength lies in branching stories of multiple characters and quirky events. If you’ve got patience for its rough edges, there’s a guilty-pleasure gem here, just don’t expect a polished game yet.

I'm mad I played this game, it has set the bar way too high for me. I know the art is AI and i don't usually like it, but hot damn, it is so well done that i did not mind it one bit. Played it three times to get the scenes and routes i wanted and i loved every moment of it.

Easily one of the best things about this game is the dialogue, it's always short and concise, so you won't get bored reading dumb filler text. I honestly think that that played a huge part in me enjoying the game so much.
I also love the simplicity of the gameplay, just click and travel like many of the Ren'Py games, just prettier.

If you're reading this and haven't tried this gem, do give it a try, if you like half the tags it's got, you'll most likely love this game.
