I'm enjoying this VN and I love this title so much so I purchased it on Steam. It's a story and not all choices will be to your liking.

WR, its not the Story, its not the Renders...hell...its not even FMCs absurd, borderline painful stupidity with which she manage to perceive the world — as if her brain took the day off (almost every day)......! I seriously wonder — if I were a developer making a game of this size and quality, why on earth would I give zero craps about adding options!? Whats the harm? Even with options, the story can still move forward just fine. I mean, if I'm not into a certain love interest, then just let the game ignore them. No more scenes, no more quests — poof, gone. It actually worked with the Dean, remember? I really, really thought Foxxied was turning the corner with version 3.5 — after that whole "stalling in the park" incident. He added real choices! The FMC could ignore Elijah, Mr. X, and others, and I was like: “YES! Finally, someone gets it!” And then... one version later... BAM. Everything’s gone. Decisions? Options? Never heard of it. And if I dare to ask why it’s like this, the answer should definitely NOT be: “Because it’s a porn game!” I mean, it's a sandbox game… that behaves like a kinetic novel. When have you ever seen or played something like that??? It's not funny, it's not cool… it's just plain dumb. Look at almost every other "corruption" game out there (Downfall or Anna for e.g. ) — like 99% of them actually give you options. You know, choices with impact. That thing porn games are known for. In my opinion, that's how it's supposed to be. SoD is like a brand new and fancy car… but the manufacturer slapped on a muzzle and said: "You're only allowed to drive on this one specific road." All the other roads? Sorry, not available. The car looks great, has cool features and all… but you're stuck in glorified GPS hell. Sure, the car is cheap — but that doesn’t make it special. It just makes people walk away shaking their heads.

There are three types of choices. One, pure kinetic novel where you don't have choices at all which everything would be unavoidable, two, choices that trick you into thinking your chosen choice is a progress but it's actually of the progress of how the game is meant to go thus forcing you to see the content you don't want or fake choices like in VST and a meaningful choices where there are many and they actually provide a choice that leads you to another scene, route, ending which can be consequential or not. The last one is the hardest to implement because of the branching and frankly it's rare(like ORS). Most games have the second one.

For those asking how to get either of the achievements by lap dancing for Richard or Mike - just play the update and when you're done go to SCENE REPLAY and you will be allowed to choose TRUTH or CHEAT routes and each let's Riley dance for either Mike or Richard depending on your choice.

This is the one of the consequences of your choices made earlier in the game but lucky enough you can still witness both paths using the Scene Replay.

Also not sure if it is intentional or a bug but those routes feel swapped - CHEAT make Riley dance for Mike and Truth for Richard and I think those should be the other way around.

How is dancing for Mike cheating ?

Because Mike is a useless idiot and finds it hot to see Riley with other guys... so in Truth path he basically pimp Riley out so he could get hard and in Cheat route he gets the lapdance.

I guess I'm one of the few who actually doesn't hate Mike. I mean granted, the dude isn't exactly a smart genius given how poorly he managed his finances and debt. But, when it comes to being a guy, he understands his limitations. He knows he is much older than Riley, is respectable but not mindblowingly amazing in the sack and has made peace with the fact that his wife is attractive enough to raise far more than just a few eyebrows.

In the end, I guess it's a tiny bit fair for some to call him a pimp because in a way Netorase/Sharing men partially are? But, it's very clear that if you take this path, both Mike and Riley love each other and are more than happy with the sharing dynamic so as to not become frustrated with their situation down the line. The whole argument scene about keeping things from each other and becoming open about secrets, only improved their interaction as a couple in my opinion.

That being said, I'm not exactly sure how I feel about how things turned out at Richard's apartment. I know Richard played the "my eyes are bad" card so Mike pushed Riley hard on him to have his own personal view of his wife getting frisky with another guy and I don't necessarily thing that was bad? Just.. I guess I didn't expect it unfolding like that, as I thought they still had some discussion/development to go through before getting comfortable together with someone else in the room.

Oh well, either way, I still feel Mike is not entirely useless. He has a place as an established character. Might not be central, but he does play a big part in Riley's character development... or depravement?

Redownload the file. It's nearly 10gb now, so if you have a spotty internet, good chance something didn't come through entirely and the file is incomplete. Also make sure you are using latest WinRar or 7z.

I was honestly expecting something a bit steamier — you know how it is, appetite grows with every bite. Especiali with Elijah.
What I’m really missing is more tension between Riley and Mike, and, most importantly… a proper fuck!

I know you’ve got an eye for detail, so if I can throw in a little suggestion — I’d love to see Riley in a wider variety of high heels. Something along the lines of what we saw in The Office or that Christmas Special episode. I reckon that’d suit her vibe perfectly.

How is dancing for Mike cheating ?

OK, but it is not dinner, the dudes were just drinking booze, so I thought I was missing some trigger or something. Thanks for the heads up though. Now I jut need to figure out which scene in that list was the Star Pupil one, since I have one on there for Mike still, since I saw the Dean scene instead. I guess it will have both routes too.

As for why truth is Richard while Cheat is Mike, on the truth path, Mike is a willing cuck, while on the cheat path, Mike does not know so she would not dance for Richard in that scenario.

Does the cheat with the arrows work? My eyes were hurting while following the arrows in the dance scene and it helped me a lot in patch 4.1. What do you think now, does this work in patch 4.2?
