I'd give this a 4.5 if I could. The render for Riley is great, and so are the extra additional costume options that show up from time to time. That's about all this VN has going for it though. But let's face it, that's like half of what makes a good AVN.

The other half is pretty annoying. The game presents a map with interact-able events like there are choices about where to go and what to do, but there are only 3 practical locations. Technically 4 with a park, but at least in early game it's not relevant. This likely does grow as the game progresses, but practically the game could have been a renpy VN instead. Maybe as game is further developed there will be more choice.

The other frustrating part of this game is the writing. Both Riley and her husband are brainless. She exists to fall into porn tropes without a hint of self-awareness.

Play this game if you want to turn your brain off and look at pretty renders of Riley and some other girls. You won't need it to otherwise.

I'll give it 4 stars, despite I play that game twice already and its honestly one of my favourites.
As a starter I don't know which one came first - LifeAsAnInnocentWaitress or SOD. And if we exclude the horrendous graphics in both of them I think the other one keeps on your toes more, even though is crazy grindy.

I usually start with the bad stuff.
1. Like I said - horrendous graphics. We live in the century of AI and this is how Riley is supposed to look like:

Instead we witness a display of gross unproportioned parts of the body , that look disgusting and unreal. Voluptuous ass and state of art melons, that are twice as huge as her own body. Such a turn off !
2. There are gaps in the game play. Too many time-passes, just because the game follows straightforward scenario. Its suppose to be sandbox, but its actually a VN with a hint of a semi-sandbox.
3. Like someone here already mentioned , this game is not about corruption. Its more about NTR. These are two different fields. NTR for me is a HUGE plus and that's why i love this game, which doesn't exist in the LifeAsAnInnocentWaitress and vice-versa. The latter is purely about corruption in its purest form - the MC there tries to keep her virginity, while for Riley is about her relationship, which doesn't seem to have a big value at first place - not much of a struggle to fall in the corruption category.

Pros:
1. NTR! One of the very few games out there that actually offer lots of content on the topic. Obviously only a handful of players would like this one as its in a specific category. Its not amazing, but at the minute doesn't have much competition.
2. Storyline is descent and I particularly like the variety of perversion in it - older woman- younger boy, maid play (my favourite), blackmail etc.
3. Lots of up skirts! Again, the graphics are nightmare, but I appreciate the effort.
4. I like that somehow the author managed to keep her mindset naïve and pure at all times, even though he must be a male. Its hard for males to make a proper female protagonist games.

In short : Beautiful idea and brilliant unique concept , in a specific niche , but almost completely killed with bad graphics. Shame...

Suggestions:
1. Do an AI rework
2.Please include stats and benefits if the player decides to favour fidelity., like in Eleanor. So far this guy looks like a boss you are roomie with.
3. Please Include more activates she could do to boost personal stats as well

It starts off fairly conventionally, but there's a good amount of varied scenes, a main character with a very hot design, and excellent animation quality. A hot game that deserves his Patreon. One of my rare favorites in development.

Decent, a little above average game but has completely unnecessary grind. Grind mechanics are disrespectful of players time and make it hard to get into a game.

Due to grind mechanics, its a fairly lengthy playtime, but there isnt a ton of actual content, most of the paths have not really been flushed out yet. The writing is above average, and the character models are OK - lot of familiar assets used.

Seems like its about 1/3 of the way through, there is enough there to kill time if you are bored but I will not be following this one progress

I'm a bit conflicted, but I'm leaning toward giving this game 5 stars (8.5/10). The story is average at the beginning (like a cheap porn movie), but it gets a lot better with time, In fact, It left me wanting more. Characters are good enough (except for Ivy, her storyline was boring) our MC is hot, renders and animations are excellent, nice music and sounds, a decent amount of spicy scenes, the UI is great, there are collectibles and the sandox element is well implemented. So I think this game is worth checking out, you can see the effort put into this game.

i dont understand the mass appeal.

Played for a couple hours, coming into this expecting a sandbox game with corruption. instead its a sandbox gimmick, but a visual novel on pre determined rails.




you are fooled by the ability to go to different areas. but unless the story requires you to do something there, they're barren, and eventless. nothing to do outside the decided narrative.

i wouldnt of minded the game so much had i of gone into this expecting a point and click visual novel. but this is NOT a sandbox game. ALTEAST in my TWO hours or sos gameplay. i saw the outstanding reviews and thought "fuck yes, imma try this" yeah, idk what these folks are playing cause this aint it

i tried interacting with the glory hole, nothing, i tried interacting with characters, just the same chats youve already had. i tried interacting with characters outside the narrative to progress the story. as in this game you have a quest list/journal. so i thought "hm a sandbox should let me have some freedom to complete these at my own leisure" no. you have to complete each objective exactly in the order the game wants.

there is no random events besides what i saw as a random dude flashing, which its a linear experience again. just check ya objectives, go to the area, do said objective, do some optional jobs that dont really have mucb going for them. then rinse and repeat.

honestly, this game has no business having the sandbox tag. it doesnt have any reason to grant you freedom to explore nor a day and night cycle. as its a visual point and click novel with nothing much to do in terms of anything exciting outside of the pre decided narrative.

i played for 2-3 hours, and this is my impression.

it does nothing to set itself apart from the thousands of other visual novels out there.

and for a "sandbox game" its terrible.



if you go into this expecting player freedom to explore and find random events etc, youll be dissapointed.

if you go into expecting a visual novel, you might like it. but if like me and many others, that youve played alot of NSFW games. youll see this game does nothing to set itself apart from the thousands of other titles. and infact is rather quite generic and boring

Best game - After playing the first episodes, I decided to buy the original. A big plus for the developer is that you pay once and get constant updates. The game manages to create tension well and is perfectly balanced in terms of excitement. We're constantly left wanting more, which is precisely why everyone is eagerly awaiting updates.

Interesting rating overall. This is definitively not my kind of novel. Should have seen from the title, that the female MC is more in a sub situation. Which is okay, but the behavior of her husband is nothing I really appreciate. Also from the technical part, I would see other novels on a higher level. Good point for others: It seems, there is a lot of people who see it differently and therefore ranked the novel between 4 and 5 stars, but not me.

Amazing sandbox game which is NTR/NTS based.
The characters are likeable and the teasing is pretty hot. The husband is also not just an idiot/unlikeable douche.
The story is fine - husband has to pay a hugh credit for the house and the bar - you explore your kinky side while you have a lot of different arc types which you can choose (rich friends, young boy, old senior, ...)
The minigames are not super boring and you actually have a purpose to earn money since you have to return some money by the end of the week.

Favorite part: Interaction with the neighbors and the relationship to the friends at the bar.
Least favorite part were the lesbian encounters I were not interested in...

Progression-wise: Right now the story is at the point where you start to actually fuck other characters (not just blowjobs etc)...so I hope there will be a lot of progress the next time Im gonna revisit the game

This is the best story I've experienced in an adult graphic novel game. Can't wait to see what happens next. Riley is amazing—so charismatic, and her growth feels totally organic. I can't wait to see what happens next.

As a preface, I purchased this game on Steam and did not play it for free via F95Z before purchasing. That said, here's why I rate this as a 1 star:

Pros:

1. The story concept and scenarios the MC finds herself in are sexy and alluring. While I wouldn't call the MC interesting, I wouldn't necessarily say she's boring, either. She exists and for a sexy AVN, that's enough - the scenarios she finds herself in carry the burden of being interesting.
2. Scene transitions are smooth and font doesn't make me want to poke my eyes out. Ren'py should be simple and SOD is that.
3. If you like BJs that's basically all this AVN is, and so you may have hit the jackpot.

Cons:

1. The first and most important thing: THE MC RARELY HAS SEX. This MC gives out BJs like they're handshakes but there is very little sex occurring outside of her sleeping with her own husband or the scene being some type of in-story deep fantasy/VR gimmick. Truly: fake alternative universe MC has more sex than existing MC, whom is not only encouraged to engage in sex but has every opportunity to and simply doesn't. Don't chalk it up to being a slow burn; this is deliberate milking of developing under the guise of teasing.
2. The story in reality is shallow and, at times, lacks continuity. Without spoiling the story beyond what the title itself would reveal, the MC seems to have both the means and desire to explore her sexuality. The problem? She just... doesn't. She blows a bunch of dudes and sometimes shows some skin. The sexual frustration the story punishes its readers with is undeserving.
3. The script is middle school young-adult levels of experience. It lacks any mystery or intrigue. Description of sex scenes is adequate but the day-to-day conversations being had are boring and largely unimportant. You can unironically skip from scene to scene without reading a thing and generally pick up on the gist of the story. There's no depth to the writing and to call this a 'novel' in any fashion, even visual novel, is a borderline insult to novels everywhere.
4. While many rave about the beauty of the MC and how hot she is, I consider this a point against this AVN as almost the entire production is Daz3D marketplace-bought models. Playing through this AVN is painful as virtually every room, model, and prop is something that can be purchased for $10 on sale on Daz3D or some render hub. Zero originality. It's the same old man in every AVN. The same young guy. The same studio apartment, and bedroom, and bar, and university, and etc etc. It's partly why I call her MC in this review and not by her provided name - she doesn't have any personality in the story and is a reused model. Sadly typical and not worthy of a name that would signify individuality.
5. Choices are largely an illusion and do not impact outcomes very much, if at all. The story is linear and there's nothing necessarily wrong with that; I would just prefer to not be given options for conversations/actions that really don't impact the story in a meaningful way.

Overall, I am disappointed with the effort of SOD. It is far from a top 5 or 10 AVN on this site, in my personal opinion. While I try not to actively poop on AVNs, as some amount of work goes into them and so I am sure pride and eagerness to make an AVN people want to engage in, SOD makes it very hard for me to want to attempt playthroughs for future updates. I sorely regret purchasing it, have been unable to get a refund despite multiple attempts from the platform I purchased it from (not SOD's fault, mind you), and can't recommend anyone play this. You may enjoy it but I certainly didn't. The crazy thing is that SOD was actually my first AVN. It's what hooked me on the genre and why I originally signed up on F95Z. I used to love it but then I started playing other AVNs and made a realization about my experience with SOD after the fact. That which I once loved and opened me up to the genre is now the (my) lowest rated AVN I've spent any amount of time on.

Ultimately, it leads me to a personal rating of 1 star.

The game I'm currently playing is simply fantastic! The in-depth story captivated me from the very first minute. There are so many exciting twists and turns that make you want to keep playing. The graphics are breathtakingly beautiful and bring the world to life - you can really immerse yourself in the action.


I'm amazed by the attention to detail that goes into every aspect of the game. It's rare that I discover a game that is not only well written, but also so visually stunning. I'm already looking forward to the upcoming updates! Hopefully these will be released quicker than many other games that often take years to release new content.


Although I've only been playing for a short time, I've already fallen in love with the world and the characters. I can't wait to experience more! Keep it up, development team - you're doing a great job!

Disclaimer. I came(heh) to this game with high expectation of corruption. Seeing as people praised this game for such. I don't include the "actual" stroy that has nothing to do with corruption into my rating consideration

TLDR: For acorruption aficionado this will not hit that spot.
Ok normal gameplay rant first.
This game should've VN tag on. Most of the decision have no bearing on gameplay. It effectively "Do you want to watch the scene or not ?" You refused every lesbian interaction ? your character still have to go through lesbian situation down the road. You don't like certain sub storyline ? nope you can't skip or avoid them regardless of choices given to you.

The normal gameplay also full of "skip time" to progress. The mini game is what you'd expect from a porn game albeit not necessary grindy still feel uvery unnecssary to include them.

Now for the "Corruption"
THIS IS NOT CORRUPTION. It's pretty clear that there was an attempt for corruption element but doesn't understand how corruption supposed to feel like. Think of vegan meat vs actual meat.
You basically able to perform sexual act from the very first few time your mc supposedly get in the corruptable situation.
You can also refused to do anything that logically would not lead you to be corrupted and then in the next few scene you still given the choice to be a slut anyway. The corruption has only two meter "No I will not do that" and "Yes I'm horny" there is no in between progression. Mc's state of mind flip flop depend on how the writer want not on how actual character supposed to react.
just replace corruptionwith ntr and it will be signigficantly more accurate.

To other reviwers saying "slow burn corruption" : a long time between scenes doesn't mean it's a slow burn corruption.

It's a very rare kind of game where slow burn is walking hands to hands with a good story that keeps you involved, because everything in this game have a reason why Riley needs to do it.
It's that kind of game where you see less, but it shows more.

General thoughts
I hate sandbox as a mechanic and grind in particular, but in this game sandbox made so well that you play it almost naturally. All you need to do is reading [tasks] regularly and plan you day in advance
Camera and perspective are good as well. It's extremely involving and you are feeling like you are sitting right next to heroes. Also I like changing of the focus in the same frame from one thing to another. It's very well made

Conclusion
From my point of view, this game is easily top 5 on this site. Definitely recommend it to play, this is quality and very well made product. I wish to forget it completely and starting to play form the beginning

From setup, to renders, to situations, this game is superlative.
Our MC is a university student in a marriage to a man many years her senior who dreams of running a successful bar and she can make decisions that either put her on a cheating path or find out that he is onboard with sharing.
She can interact with fellow students, staff, her older next door neighbor and his grandson and others for a full complement of ages, races and body types and genders.
The narrative is compelling with her finding out her husband used less than legal means to fund his bar, so she gets wrapped up in the criminal underworld as well.

Positives
+ Riley is quite possibly the hottest FMC I have ever seen. Design-wise, she rides this (implausible) line of being dummy t h i c c, yet still slim in the right areas with a gorgeous face. My only complaint is that I'm not a fan of the Botox lips. She's also a good and kind person and it's a delight to see her interact with others in even the non-sexy situations.
+ Many different ages and body types of the people she can interact with including some other very hot women means you should find something to get your motor going
+ Lots of care given to the outfits Riley wears and her hairstyles making an already gorgeous FMC even more so
+ Player-driven choices of who to involve Riley with

Neutral
= Sandbox gameplay with 7 days/week and 4 times of day with some occasional money-grinding. I don't find it that bad, and the pole-dancing minigame is actually kinda fun, but if you don't like sandbox or minigames, this is something to be aware of as it can get a little grindy.
= The women are all super-model level gorgeous and the men...aren't. This doesn't bother me, but I know it does some people, so it's worth noting.

Negatives
- Not a lot of penetrative content. Only her husband and one asshole right now. I actually skipped out on the asshole content cuz I don't like blackmail and sub/dom shit, but I'm sure it's up a lot of people's alleys.
- Related to the above, but most of the sexual content is drip fed. I'm totally ok with a slow burn approach and the game usually has Riley in a cute, skimpy outfit or some level of dishabille so there's eye-candy, but if you're looking for quick slammin' or even a lot of sexual content beyond nudity and teasing, I don't think this is it.

Overall, I really enjoy this game and think it's one of the best here. I took about a 6 month break from it to let it accumulate more content, and while there was a lot of new content created in that time, it was mainly story-advancing with more teasing sexual content (flashing, lapdances, blowjobs). If you don't mind a slow burn and appreciate goddess-tier characters, I can't recommend this highly enough.
4.5 rounded down to a 4. Will be revised upward more content is released.

Note to devs: Absolutely breathtaking work. I can't wait to see what remains in store for Riley. Please continue to give her agency and allow the player to make the decisions of who she gets involved with.

Wow...just wow. The story itself alone just blew me away, and thats not even the tip of the iceberg. Several hours of gameplay to get through and I loved every second of it. The character designs are flawless and the animations are beautiful. God this game is legit perfect. I can't wait for the next update. Pros: Good render.

Cons: Certain parts of the game have too much grind. I feel like the work mechanic can be streamlined. The part where you need to explore every room and click several objects, it is not fun and unnecessary. Maybe some people enjoy doing that, but I wish there's an option to disable it for other players who don't like it.

A very good corruption game. The different threads of the story get a bit jumbled towards the end, and I lost interest in the whole 'possessed by a goddess' story, but all in all the story is hot, well written and with decent renders.

This game is amazing! I’m Italian and I love how Riley, the wife, get more troiaggine (slutty) step by step. The story is good, renders are beautiful, and animations are perfect! Some parts are little exaggerate, but it’s fun. Music is nice, writing is ok, and updates come often. Great adult game, I give 5/5! Grande Fooxied!

Interesting art, interesting story, a good amount of grind so reward is apprichiated.
Also you have a few desicion that change story and those are clearly advertised, so it is easy to fall in character and choose your own path and not miss any content.
