I feel like their needs to be a rule for reviewing games when they are Demo as short as this, It hampers the good games from getting good reviews when they are released as indeed good games, Its too early to judge like that and you dont know whether the reviewer will indeed come back to edit their reviews once the alpha or the main game drops

A better solution might be to update the review feature to specify the version being review so users can see average reviews for all the versions or just the current version, like apps in the app store. But other than it is only fair that if the developer releases something that isn't finished then it gets reviewed as it is when it is released not how it is now. It should not be up to the reviewer to update their reviews with each update. Also if your demo or early release can't convince people your game will be good, then it probably won't be a good game anyway.

What you said about the website's inability to show which version the review was updated for is correct and I agree with it.

However, What you said about the developer doesn't apply here since they released it mainly for their supporters to get feedback, this isnt a public release, but the same thread will be used for public release too when the game is finished...that's what causes issue if you review right now. u get me? Like, i feel its better to comment what you feel about the demo and the potential of the game rather thn reviewing.

I also understand most of the game here arnt exactly finished, and the question comes...as per my logic, U cant review any ongoing developing games...my answer would be, that's not my point, Review any game that has been released not as Demo or Alpha. since they are usually tooo short and mainly exist to give feedbacks for developers to improve on the main game, Especially if they are released to supporters only.

Edit - I just noticed its a public release and not a supporters only release so i concede on that mistake, but i still feel my above point stands for demo/alpha builds

I get your concern. I recently saw a new game from a popular developer got a release that didn't reach the sex scenes yet. All the reviews were either high because they like the dev's previous games or low because it didn't include any sex scenes.

My main issue with your argument is "At what point is an incomplete game acceptable to be reviewed?" This game is easy since it has "demo" in it. But if it didn't how complete does the game has to be for it be reviewable? Unless the admins here can give a standardized rule to determine when a game is reviewable it would not be fair not to let people review the game as it is. I say just let the natural order of reviews take its course. As the game gets more updates, the newer reviews will reflect the game better than the older reviews so it should all balance.
