People in the reviews are completely ignoring the vanilla route, which is pretty good to great I'say. The developer has clearly worked on it with passion, it's not an afterthought. I mean, the story isn't particularly original, but it's still well executed and engaging.
The art is fantastic and (imo) so is the art style, there are great additions you don't see in your typical RPG Maker game, like the animated sprite of a gigantic dragon, (but the game itself is slightly buggy, maybe that's due to the English patch) which doesn't look out of place at all in the map and sound is great. The "voiced" tag is missing but FMC has a few voice lines (more like 4 noises and 3 words) actually, they help with immersion more than you'd expect.
By far one of the most outstanding (vanilla) H-RPG games I have ever played.
They haven't completely ducked up the pacing with this route either. I can't think of any moment where the story felt rushed to me.
Hopefully, hopefully, they won't drop the ball with the full release and maybe even fix the absurd NTR pacing. Please devs, (mostly) stick to your ideas without listening to vocal minorities that want your game to be just a clone. 0 ->100 in half an hour = cheap and stupid, only fitting for interactive gallery garbage with random default RPGM battles to .
Edit:
I love this developer. Almost made me want to donate my entire lifesavings.
This is what he had to say on DLSite. Sorry brother I won't talk shit anymore.
PS: I forgot to mention. MC is NOT stupid in the vanilla path, beyond the usual Japanese passiveness. Of course I should keep from the Hero the unimportant information that both his buddies have already been corrupted. Before I found out, we talked about the powers of the evil guy and how he may have already corrupted his friends, but he also told me, out of pure hopium, he needs to trust them! So now, I won't do anything with this new information. Duh.
