Seeking Straightforward novels?

Many of the recent novels (Ren'py games) I've played recently have so much irrelevant and unintriguing, unsexy story. They have been poorly written, include a whole lot of bad humor and are so incredibly, unnecessary long.

Can you please mention any game(s) you have played that you perceived as:

• Good written (sexy)
• Genuinely funny
• Not stretched out

Tried "Acting Lessons"? Best jokes I've seen so far in AVNs. A couple of times laughed real hard.
However, the story along the game gets darker and some of the events are, let's say, not so happy and light-hearted. (don't want to spoil much AND it seemed to me that this might be important for your search)

"Personal Trainer" - also quite a funny writing approach, lots of banter. Not short (but does not seem stretched though).
