My sincere respect to the developer. He have deserved a resting from the st. Certainly I wish I saw the ending with motel manager/grannies/her honour/ pe teacher/the principal (either of them were gifted by a first class butt by the way), but I survive such a lack successfully.

Really sucks dev is stopping for a while but if anyone deserves a break it's him. Was one of the few reliable devs for a long time. Hope things get better soon.
With how consistent this game has been in updating, yeah get the rest you need. Can skip updates for 2 years+ and still be in the top 10 of consistency.

Running pretty much any application/program as Admin in W10/11 (even on W7 back in the day) triggers that. For instance, when Steam is launched on my PC I need to give it Admin permission every time (because it had some issues a decade ago and I'm too lazy to revert it, but no matter). And it goes without saying: I got it from their website...
If you are truly second-guessing yourself on this, that's a good thing. Really. But if you are looking for playing it anyway, then I suggest analysing the links through VirusTotal. I did out of habit, but do it yourself if you are (playing it).
