HTML - Street Hero [v0.7a] [Safriscoffi]

This is my favorite HTML game.

But some grinty You chose the best models, the gameplay and mechanics are actually fun, the dialogue is solid, along with the story, and the build up is just right.

I can’t wait to continue to follow and play this masterpiece.

It's somewhat decent for an html game, but poor overall. It suffers from what many html games are suffering.

Lack of content, boring grind.

I'd say that porn itself is high-quality, despite the small amount of it, but the core gameplay mechanics suck:
- Oh yeah, talk 5 times a day to this girl, 3 days a day to this, keep the love meter grind.
- Fight a guy, go to bedroom, spend points, return, fight more guys, go to bedroom, etc.
- Combat ratings. +1 star because author made a skip to X combat rating if you're strong enough, but still, get dozens of same fights. Even boss fights have no difference over regular fights.
- Reputation is only to see more scenes with the 'random' screaming woman, it's also grindy as hell to get, since you're capped at 1 per day, and you need to fight... again... And even the robber gets level scaled. The fight mechanics are exactly the same as in the park or at school.
- No meaningful interactions.
- No story. You could as well just remove the prologue entirely.

Since it's unfinished, well, it's probably a good starting ground. Objective rating: 2/5

It's fun, it's wel made and despite being relatively new there's enough here to enjoy

Compared to other such games it seems well designed, the user interface is solid, the game mechanics are sufficiently clear that you don't need a cheat sheet and slide rule to work out what to do and the story progression gives as little hand holding as I feel the dev could get away with. So it has all that going for it.

The issues are really what you'd expect from a game in this stage. There's a fair bit of content but at the same time not a HUGE amount so once you start hitting "that's all the content for this release" messages then you start to skip more and more.

The models are... fine. HTML games sadly seem to go down two routes; the Japanese path so all the models, pics and videos are from Japanese videos, or the BBC route where the game just seems like a simulator to get as many beautiful women to sleep with black dudes as the dev can cram in. This game falls into the first category so it's best to keep this in mind when playing. All the tropes are of the Japanese porn variety so if that's not your thing you may find it boring. I seem to recall a scene where you have the option to "poke her boob" which personally is a new one for me but if that's your thing you'll probably be all up in it.

A great start! a little scarce on content? The story is there, but doesn't seem to be a part of the game yet?

Also the main characters personality just sucks, honestly the only reason this a 4 / 5 is because of the MC, the personality just sucks.

The fact that this is JAV is always a big + for me, and pretty much every one of them is hot.

Gameplay is fine as a base, but needs a little bit more to it, right now you can just focus and one stat and win every fight.

Normaly i would be great for no grinding but this game has the oppoisite problem, there is 0 value to money, because for some reason you start off with like 5k? when in total to clear all content you only need something close to 2K, meaning any money you get in your playthrough might as well not exist

This is a high-quality game that really puts a lot of effort into the story content.
It would be perfect if the grinding can be reduced.
I am very optimistic about the future development of this game!

This game borrows heavy influence from Gakko No Monogatari from the grinding and the scenes. There are good amount of scenes for early development. The story is different, and the intro is quite interesting.

Story - The setting is different since you are in a Japanese gang, and get caught having sex with the rival gang's girl. However, we don't get to see the girl again afterwards. I do hope to see her later. The MC rises up in rank in school and the city by fighting. As of now, the story feels like it's on pause because we don't really see the rival gangs other than fighting them in the park, although there is supposed to be a war. I do hope the developer pick up on the story on the gang war because right now MC just fucks all the girls around the town. 2/5

Renders/Animation - The girl casts are great. I didn't expect to see Ogura Yuna which was a surprise. The developer uses AI to try to uncensor some of the scene which I applaud because it is better than being censored. There are sounds in the scenes. 4/5

Playabality/Performance - I haven't come across any bugs yet, but I do wish traveling to different locations can be easier. You do have a quick travel button, but there are some locations that takes time to get to. The quest indicator is available, but some of the instructions are left out such as the date scene. The fighing system uses a rock paper scissors approach and leveling up can be a little bit of a grind. 3/5

Content: The amound of scenes with the girls are generous so cheers to that. I do like having different buttons withing the sex positions because you do not have keep pressing the button to see all the scenes in the position. 4/5

Grammar: I haven't noticed any severe grammar errors. 5/5

The game is still at the early stage of development, so I will keep updating the review as I play more. The game does take a different approach from Gakko no Monogatari. I do hope the story of the gangs do progress. Keep up the hard work!
