I got stuck in loading image packs in the past. Guess I had too many trying to load. Maybe input a bad number in your settings? I recommend re-extracting the game then copy the default config dat files (config, user_config, and game_config) should reset settings to default ones. It's how I got past my loading bug, that and using less image packs.
for installing the modpacks do need need to change this pref_image_modules string scw=0 too?
being only thing i did is
image_modules string scw,aaa,aba,aik,alm,,ccw,crc,cro,dstu,exp,gar,gow,htp,ice,lfm,num,nyb,ofg,old,tea,tot,zot # comma separated list of image modules to use
In 2.05 occasionally one of the clubs may overlap with another place.

Two things.
One its alot of images. My game was struggling after adding a bunch of image packs specifically lfm and ofg. Great packs just alot of images. I am running scw,aaa,alm,cro,ice,tea,tot,zot.
Two it may not be an issue, but looks like there is an a double comma between alm and ccw for you. Could be what is causing the error.

Can you tell me, after I hired a bartender, how to set up his work or the work of the club? Or does the bartender work automatically? Does he even show up at the bar? I still haven't fully figured out the game, it's only been 10 days, but the management is taking too long to tell me what I'm interested in.

Image packs: definitely scw (amber, bethany, etc.) - there are many other packs, and a megapack you can download.

Basically, you need employees with high lewdness, except for janitors and cooks. You should start making profit after you built the entrance. Don't be afraid of taking loans, as soon as the debt don't go over 50k.
Hire the bartender, buy alcohol, and, the following day, go to manage club --> open club. The bartender will show up automatically.

Seems like lots of trouble just for some images...........There does not seem to be any animation.

It's been a few days now that I miss interactions with commissionners, I can't discuss laws with them. I noticed some interactions aren't possible at some other places, for example I can't do maintenance anymore.

Yeah, I visited the nurse 3 times now to get treatment but it's not enough... In the in-game help it says health -20 will limit our movements so I think it's in fact +20 and that would explain it. Guess I'll keep getting treatment...

Imagine you have 400+ characters in the game and you have to make animations for every possible scenario(straight,guy/lesbian,threesome mff/mmf,black,white ,asian,old,young).
Why stop there...foreplay,make out,groping,punishments
Make no mistake,i would LOVE to see animations but this would require a monumental work and time from TotalFluke or the mod community.
It is ,imo, already hard enough to make animations for a VN/Renpy game with JUST 6-7 LIs and a MC.
Yet,i spent more time with this game than with any other on this site.

When you get someone drunk and fuck them, it doesn't count towards impregnation.
My saves from 2.04a are not loading. Cheats also missing. I copied the files to the 2.05 version and updated the user config. Any ideas?

Hmm, yeah, that is probably a new bug introduced as part of the new district logic. I'll have to fix it. Not sure if that game is playable as is, or you should start a new one. (Basically you will never be able to go to either the club or the diner, not sure which one that button will take you to). Once you do, look at the map right away to make sure that it didn't do that.
The double commas are a problem. I'll put in a check for that to prevent that in the future but for now, remoe the extra one.
Because it's nice joint, not a McDonald's and you want someone that can run a restaurant kitchen. 23 is actually pretty low for that type of job, IMO.
Whether is worth it or not, that's up to you. Some people like it and others don't. But there are no plans for animations. Until the time comes that we can generate animations from images on the fly and they are good, that won't happen.
You need to copy (or move) the entire runtime directory from 2.04 to 2.05 in that case. The easier way to do it is to unpack the 2.05 files in the 2.04 directory. The install will not overwrite any user files, including your options, save files, mods and image packs.
Those are from new game because older saves are no longer compatible (I was playing 2.03 most recently). And yes, It doesn't come back if I restart the game and make a new game. By the way, because Club buttons are slightly bigger, you can still go to the club by clicking on what looks like the frame.
