Welp. This game is broken. All of my employees are at 0 health, and changing the days off to 2 per week did not help. Also, birthdays sometimes trigger about 7 times for the same person, and that cannot be good. Also, my character's stress keeps hitting the max over and over again, even when all I do is sleep and pass the time.
See the above message for a fix.
Nice. There are some tagging issues with the first set, but it looks like you figured it out after that. (I don't think a z8-nude image will ever get used. The z2-s3 is more like a z5.)
I'm curious whether a z6-biz pose like in your set #9 will ever appear in game. I haven't seen any other sets with that combination.
A z8-nude will be used in some places, but not in others. The code can set the pose to be used based on the 'key" (nude, topless, etc.) or the z-value, or both. So when setting it via the key, then yes, the z8-nude will be used. But when set via the z-value it won't be. Places that get someone naked bit by bit (like during sex, strip shows, cult meeting) tend to use the values, but when done all at once (like when going to the nude beach) it uses the key.
A z6-biz can show up in-game but will be rare. It would require the topless in public law to be enabled, the character being comfortable with nude in public and high enough lewdness and courage to wear it and a location were it makes sense to wear it. And then it would need to compete with all other poses that would qualify. So it is possible but rare. I would certainly not invest too much effort in such images. Making a casual or fun z6 image is much more likely to be used because they are applicable to many more locations and situations.
I see your point. Nervertheless, if the game creates new characters with the main purpose of keeping labor supply high, you might as well build a platform where supply and demand meet. A periodic “job fair”, for instance, would probably reduce the need for “cheating” for both the player and the AI.
1. New unemployed characters are created randomly each month (regardless of the labor demand.)
2. Starting from February, the City Commission decides that the unemployment rate is too high and establish a monthly "job fair"/"recruitement day" where these NPCs, along with employed NPCs who want to change jobs, can be evaluated by the MC an other club owners. And then they can be hired by the MC, or rival clubs, or (more or less randomly) find "generic" jobs.
They only "cheat" would be the first bartenders, but they can be created from the start just like the commissioners, club owners, nurse, and so on. And your first bartender could be your sister/daughter, whom you can keep or let go depending on various factors.
If you want to keep club openings randomized, you can introduce the "club inspector" NPC right away and have him/her visit one club per day and give them permission to operate (or not, and then you must persuade the inspector in other ways...)
It would need a lot of work, probably, but it would surely create a lot of opportunities and ramifications.
The job fair is an interesting mechanic but it will likely be a ton of work. There's a lot of things to consider. And it doesn't make the real issue with your initial suggestion any easier (the keeping track of multiple people who applied, collect info about them and then offer one of the a job at a later time).
Quick question: does opinions on the mc have any effect on the mc at all? I think spending money causes unhappiness or stress the higher the greed value is but that's not opinions.
If not then here's a suggestion to the dev: Have the opinions actually have an impact. Like for example mc with a liking for certain physique (big breast, slim, etc) will cause mc to increase happiness and arousal. This will in turn lead to quicker build up of arousal with girls that mc likes during sex, thus more cumming more for the same amount of energy spent if on another girl without those qualities. And vice versa if mc were dealing with girls that mc has negative opinions on.
Also, if opinions has real impact, allowing players to choose which to take during char creation will allow for some nice customization.
Probably far fetched, especially since some of the opinion doesn't actually do anything still, but one can hope..
I've been wanting to include something like that but no, it currently doesn't factor in. The arousal process already includes so many things (for instance how good the other persons skills are, the level of undress, is the other person a virgin, are they in a public location, etc.) that just adding more seems that it just ends up evening everything out. So haven't figured out a way to make it meaningful.
Then the bigger issue is that if we do that, then we have to consider how their MC's opinion affect everything else. And that would remove agency from the player. For example, if the MC has an opinion that they don't like to go on dates, should that prevent the MC from going on dates or if not adding extra stress when he does? I'm not sure I want to do that - it would be a ton of work. And I don't want to apply the effect of opinions in certain places. So the bottom line, is a good idea, I like it and I had wanted to do something like that but in the end it will either too complex and reduce fun.
So, I'd been playing a new game, and just had the same thing happen: suddenly every employee calls out, with multiple messages for each one. I checked the values you listed above:
- Average health = 21.4
- Average illness = 31.2
- Average injuries = 0.58
So, "very wrong" according you your previous message.
I loaded a previous save of the same game, which was about three weeks of game time prior, and had:
- Average health = 52.1
- Average illness = 1.1
- Average injuries = 0.5
So, clearly something went sideways.
See fix in previous message.
Can you get your younger sister to quit working for the competitor in this version? I tried lowering her energy to 0, making her dislike entertainment work and sex work but still no good. When I press 'considered for job' it said she has commitment and stuff.
You can, but you have to offer her a job she likes better than the one she has. And you have to wait the 90 days for her to be able to quit the job.
Yikes. I just did the same thing.
Average health = 6.024834
Average illness = 70.2309
Average injuries = 0
My city has the plague.
