Ren'Py - Completed - Strip n Play with Valerie [v1.1s] [AceX Game Studio]

It's a tease little game with good animations, but at the end of the day... why would you wanna play this? The minigames are annoying, with bad interface. If you like any the minigames, you can like... play better versions of each game online. And just for the animations... watch porn instead.
But ok, let's say it was very well made... but no, I played for about 10 minutes and aced every minigame and still got a game over screen. Why make it so frustrating?
So... I don't recommend.

Short but cool game with minigames and well done animations. SFX are hot too. Great for confusing your brain by redirecting blood flow from your penis to solve puzzles. Dev has consistent development performance. Hope he makes a full length VN

It's a rather short but really enjoyable game. The minigames are fun and the graphics, especially the animations are some of the best I have seen to far. Highly recommended. The block minigames kind of suck though, but they are entirely optional.

Great animations, but the main version of the game is just tiresome and repetitive to play through. You have to play these minigames to progress to each next scene.

Make one wrong choice and you'll have to go back and keep playing through the minigames to progress. You have to figure out which decision actually unlocks the next scene.

I've even followed the walkthrough and still seem to be stuck just before the final part/scenes. Quite frustrating by how poorly written the walkthrough guide was.

If only the dev had taken out this horseshit or given you the option to just have a no minigame mode, it would have been better.

EDIT - realised the 1.0 version uploaded here had a problem that prevented the ending from being reached. There's an easy way to fix it posted here or you can get the 1.1 version proper if you buy it.

There's another game version called 'story mode' but haven't played that one. I guess that one either has the minigames removed or added the ability to make it optional.

This Dev is one to keep an eye on. If they ever decide to go full AVN it could be amazing.
Renders are very good.
Animations are top tier.
Music and sound are also quite good.
Tried mini games, didn't like them, thank God for story mode.
Would have liked a bit more in the story and dialogue department, but the game was an obvious showcase for the Devs technical skills, as such, the writing was adequate to bridge the gap between the scenes.
Would really like to see more from this Dev with more characters and story, maybe some player choices. That could be most excellent.
As it is, it's still well worth a play and a buy on Steam.

I played story mode, but there is a game mode with some seemingly very boring games - I don't bother playing more than one game before just swapping to story mode.

"Story mode" also doesn't involve much of a story, it's basically just sex scenes with an ending, which is fine with me!

Great renders, models, and anims tho.

Great start, but always the same things to do.
I liked the beginning a lot, nice games (I love soduku) and dialogues that intrigue the player, the scenes are also excellent.
Unfortunately, you must always redo the usual mini-games, repeat the scenes several times (some scenes are even "creepy").
In short, the more the game goes on the more boring it becomes, really a shame because it seemed really well done.

Tried it after more than a year and the sensations remained more or less the same, I liked the animations more than usual (I think because I played too many games with bad animations).

I found this game accidentally. I can only say that this game is amazing. It has excellent renders and animations, as well as the sounds of moaning.

Animations are definitely one of the best on F95.

Valerie is very beautiful and attractive.

If Acex Game Studio can make regular AVN, that game will definitely be one of the best games in history.

A nice short game with a cute ending.

Valerie has a good model and the animations are high quality. This is a minigame-heavy game with very short bits of story exposition in between, but since it's so short I think that's not really an issue.

Wow what a nice surprise. After seeing a lot of the trash here on F95 for this particular genre, my expectations for a strip show staged with mini games was very low. I had hoped to complete this game quick and move onto something else, but this game occupied my time for days and days.

I can only echo what other reviewers have said. The animations are some of the best to be found on F95, bar none. It's important to make the 'main thing' of a porn game the 'main thing', and this game delivers that better than 99% of games here. There's seriously only a handful of other games that compete.

Some other premium details: decent music (even if it is stock), and some really really nice moaning. To me, this kind of polish makes a top game a top game.

But then this developer went beyond that. These types of game generally can't (won't?) have a plot, which is the only thing that can sometimes drag down these 'sex simulators', but in this instance, the developer really surprises by inserting some additional characters here and there in cut scenes between the stages. There's a story and some mystery that takes some time to reveal, and since they also progressively get more horny and raunchy themselves, they add interest to the stages beyond just seeing the next sex scene with Val. Totally unexpected, and very very well done.

Any cons I could mention would only be cons for the genre itself, and so wouldn't really be fair. This dev has taken this game beyond where it should be, so that alone is worth the 5 star rating I've given it.

Note: I've played the story mode version of this game, sorry couldn't be bothered with all the minigames!

This game is quite simple, yet amazing. It's rather short, but the developer's skill in rendering and animating is really on another level. I only know 3 other games F95zone with animations that are as good as they are in this game. Simply amazing!

Story is not too difficult to understand (Val strips and wants to have lewd times with you), but definitely good enough for a 18+ game.

This is a rewrite of my original review which was much more abrasive and not very constructive. I've left it underneath the rewrite to preserve my original reaction.

Not much to the game so not much to say.
I know its weird for me to have high standards when it comes to porn games but I have them and this game doesn't meet them.

The story takes place immediately within a dream where you are met with Valerie who offers to strip if you play some games.
The issue for me is that at this point I don't know who Valerie is and why I should feel anything for them, they're literally just a body. Maybe this is just me but I get far more aroused by a character when I'm given at least a chance to get to know them. This is because then I can get attached to them and suddenly their arousal means something. Though there is some story in the later parts of this game its not enough to get me invested in Valerie unfortunately.

The games are very simple versions of brick breaker, sudoku, image matching and 9 picture puzzles. You do the puzzles, if you win clothes fall off, if you lose your character cums and you start again. The puzzles felt jarring on my first playthrough partially because I don't expect to be doing puzzles in a dreamworld but also because they're quite fast paced.

The visuals start off quite drab and featureless, the background consists of a pink backdrop and Valerie is attractive but their design is very simplistic and doesn't say much about their character. Later on things get a little more interesting when Valerie starts sucking off the protaganist. The animations in this game are excellent although they do get reused later down the line.

There is very little story from what I've played, it seems as if Valerie is getting into dreams via magic powers and is training with a group of other girls but I don't get an indication into what they're trying to achieve.

Not much to say about the audio, maybe a dreamy background tune might be appropriate?

Overall I unfortunately felt as if my time was wasted after playing the game for a decent chunk of time. This might be improved through a more detailed storyline and more detailed/nuanced characters.

Strip n Play just didn't do it for me but maybe you'll enjoy your time with it.

I hated the mini games so I downloaded a cheat, I'm bad I know.
I was dumbfounded by the crisp renders and animations!
However they were mostly blow jobs which I really doesn't like that much.

The renders and animations in this game are some of the best. Played because I liked the model - and full admission: the abs - and ended up enjoying it more than I expected for a minigame oriented VN. Didn't expect a story.

Writing is pretty good, story was interesting enough that I'll definitely check the sequel, and the replay gallery is the nicest of about any renpy game I've played. I'm so happy that cheats were available in the game; I played the minigames and actually enjoyed them a bit but after a while the charm wore off. So I had my cake and ate it too, actually putting effort in and playing all the games without dropping the whole thing because of them. Having options was good, as well. I swapped between the memory game, puzzle, and sudoku when the others got stale.

That said the dialogue leading to immediate game overs can be a little bothersome. I can reload an autosave or rollback so not bad, just inconvenient. Especially when some of them feel similar to the right answer. In general I'm not a fan of one-click game overs.

All in all definitely good, I'll probably keep this game for the gallery pretty much indefinitely. Looking forward to the sequel.

Fantastic renders, simple and intuitive gameplay, surprisingly good writing, and an understated story that kept me interested. Lots of content for how short it was. The gallery viewer is better put together than Honey Select (I wish there was a way to control the camera, but that's my only complaint about it)
You'll want to save frequently, especially before making any 3 option choices. Starting over because of a bad choice or miss-click is annoying.

The characters, renders and animations are pretty good. The gameplay is really weird on the other hand (reminded me ancient strip poker hentai games), I don't know if the puzzles have some positive effect on erotic content lmao. Sudoku was the only puzzle that made the game playable, I wouldn't even bother finishing the first stage if it wasn't there. It's a nice game anyways, enjoyed playing it.

Good luck for the sequel, curiously waiting for that.
