The next stretch goal was announced. Actually it might be a good thing to not be related with the game, so it doesn't change much of the development considering that they know they will have backers coming either they put a goal or not. And I don't know what else they could add into the game after they showed so much stuff that it will have.

Yeah absolutely. All future goals will probably be non-game related stuff or just small add-on's that don't add anything to the story or the game other than for cosmetic purposes. At this point though they're probably scrambling around thinking about what to do for each possible next stretch goal since the money keeps pouring in. Honestly it looks like they'll break 1mil before the time is up, at least in USD, they're already at $737k. At this point I doubt FOW even predicted it'd be THIS successful, hell at the start of the campaign I was seriously worried that it wouldn't reach it's $400k goal but they've very quickly blown above and beyond even that!

This decision kinda strengthened my belief that this project won't be a big failure and is actually well thought out.
I'm no developer, but the whole campaign looks quite smart. Realistic sounding stretch goals, no stupid physical backer rewards and a team that knows each other for a good while.
They seem to have a plan, what they can achieve and what they can't. Even the additional stretchgoal for FOW-Chan isn't a complicated one. It's just one more girl... no big new gameplay-features or other crazy ideas that could backfire.
I honestly don't expect a big masterpiece of gaming. I just hope we will get a good looking and fun game with a decent amount of content for once. I'm fed up with all those unfinished Patreon-Games, that start out promising and when they gain enough followers (in other words: monthly paying patrons), they stop progressing in a meaningful way.

Agreed absolutely. The only stretch goal that may have sounded a bit hard was their 30+ hour game, but they already said that they added that because they already basically had two versions of their script, one the 30 hour one and one shorter one, so they already knew what they would do at the long one, making it not that unachievable of a goal. Everything else has been really moderate and simple, adding some more scenes, more moments with the girls, etc. And even Fow-chan being added in is fine because she's not gonna be some overpowered character that you'll want to use over everyone else since they've said she's a late game character you'll pick up, not from the start. And on top of a team that knows each other well, they've also brought in third party people, probably people they already have had some contact with or know elsewise to help with the parts they're not good at, namely actually developing the game. We know they can write smut and stories and animate very well, despite whatever people's opinions are of their content you have to admit they do put a lot of work into it. Honestly I have a lot of faith in the project solely because they seem to be able to keep their heads on their shoulders, and like you said it's a team that's worked together in the past, and have worked well, so they can help keep each other cool in case the sheer size of it starts getting overwhelming. Honestly I cannot wait!

Actually I'm happy the last stretch goal is just for polishing the game. And doesn't really matter if they hit the 1KK goal or not, the extra money will go either to their pockets or for polishing the game anyway.

I really want them to show us the 3d models of the other girls. Namely, right now, the catgirl, elf girl is definitely a close second though. Although they'll probably finish up with the concept art for all of them, so we're still missing the rest of squidgirl and the Corrupt General. Still though, hoping they'll get a 3d model for one of them out soon.

This would very good indeed. Any more information about the game would be good for me. More information of the lore in general. And, of course, show us the other models is excellent. There is Sova too, Idk if you saw her concept art. She seams tiny. XD

Yeah I saw hers, I'm actually really interested to see her 3d model and what she'll look like in game. Hopefully they'll start releasing more info and teasers now that they've basically given us our last stretch goal

If anything it will show other gaming companies that there’s a huge market for it, and I wouldn’t be surprised if a bunch of off-branded studios start popping up.

Unrelated but hopefully this sends a signal to a huge company like WB that keeping the "sex" part with the "gore" without a bs excuse of practical and realism in MK11 is not a bad idea to make money.
I think NRS wants to be E-sports. Back when SFV was being broadcasted on ESPN (EVO tournament), R. Mika's default outfit was banned because it was "too revealing". This year during EVO Japan, the stream was cut because there was somethings during the DOA6 gameplay trailer that MrWizard (Head of EVO) found it was one of the "Core Values" of EVO (and in turn E-sports because he wants EVO to become more E-sports)
Ok so everyone is so stretched about discussing studio fow's success on kickstarter, and we all know it will be remembered by many and will be embedded in the history of the porn industry that studio fow has made such an incredible feat and contribution to the horny guys that wants a fucking AAA title, not just because of the game but rather because of the content that it will give us.
But no one is talking about the project snow release, i mean 60k followers on twitter? they already got tons of cash and more than enough for them to keep giving us some good stuff, its more than what they actually earn on patreon and this is all more percentage of earnings than what patreon does which is to cut their sales overall each month.
I do hope some poor soul out there waiting for project snow to come up and ask them about it if they are gonna release it or they are still gonna be so stubborn about the 60k follower requirement on twitter, like sheesh i haven't gotten any good stuff to watch recently and i'm just here waiting for studio fow to release something new to feed me
