    Review of Part 2:

The story is excellent so far and the renders and animations are of very high quality.

The choices in this new novel are a bit more nuanced than The Author, the developer's first novel (which was actually completed).

There's an interesting bit of cross-over between the two games (and according to the dev, this will continue with the next novel). So, while you absolutely can play this game by itself, I strongly recommend you play STWA: The Author first, it will make this novel that much more rewarding.

There's no sound or music (other than the initial menu screen). Most games don't have any, so it's not a terrible loss, though I think it would really take the game to the next level should sounds, at least, be added.

I've supported this developer since his first novel and I'm very happy to continue to do so. The story and interpersonal relationships help this to stand out from most other games.

If you're looking for a porn fest, this isn't that game, though the sex scenes are good when they happen. Everything feels more natural in this story than the ones that focus on porn (no offense if those are the type of games you prefer).

I strongly recommend you support the developer if you like the game and can afford to do so.

I've played STWA's first game, The Author, and I can wholeheartedly say this game is amazing and does not disappoint.

Now to get into the details somewhat...

STWA has once again shown us his fantastic writing skills and create an immersive, interesting, gorgeous, and just an excellent world that I'm very excited to explore further when new updates are released.

STWA's renders are gorgeous and a massive improvement since the Author his characters models are gorgeous and well refined and his scene decoration and lighting are leagues better than most people who makes games on this platform, not only that but his scene composition and camera angle really help push the scene forward and direct the viewer into the important parts of the render and this works perfectly in parallel with the dialogue.

The characters are fantastic, all have unique personalities and personality traits that help them all stand out as individuals none of them merge into just a hot piece of ass category that a lot of these games have, the girls are gorgeous and hella sexy don't get me wrong but their personalities contribute a whole lot to their attraction for me anyway (I'm a story, first guy).

As an Englishman myself he sells London and England very well, convinced me that's its set in my country with the environments and the way the girls speak with slang and native words that only people familiar with them or know a lot about UK culture will understand its very immersive for me I had a smile on my face the whole time, and I can say hand on heart this is the only game I have played that has made me feel this way awesome work.

TL/DR: This is a game everyone needs to check out if your into story and sexy girls who have a personality and are not just a piece of ass for you to conquer.

This game is amazing and its going places, he has a career-long supporter out of me and I hope STWA gets the recognition and success he deserves.

I cant wait to see more STWA keep up the amazing work.

    Pros:

    - Unique story
    - Great writing
    - Lovely drawing

    Cons:

    - It is kinda slow with main girls. Jumping into bed with a couple of random chicks doesn't do anything.
    - Too short first part. Need frequent and longer updates.

I played the first part a ton of times and I can't get enough of this. I can't wait for updates.

P.S. Seriously man, Don't make me wait.

After playing STWA's previous game, The Author, I'm happy to say that Unbroken does not disappoint.

The developer once again brings his outstanding writing skills to the table with compelling, beautifully written and interesting characters and an engaging plot.

The render quality sees an amazing improvement and so does the cinematography.

    Such an amazing game.
I first played The Author by STWA not long ago and loved, so I had to try The Unbroken as well.

STWADev didn't disappoint here. Great story, good looking renders and the girls are to die for.
Hope STWA will get his recognition he deserve.

After STWA's first game, I obviously had to check out his new project and wow. I like absolutely everything about this game so far. The girls are fantastic, the writing is incredible attached to a great storyline. I cannot wait to see how this progresses, and if the endings are anything like his other game, they'll be phenomenal. Also, all of the girls are beautiful, but Kana is on another level. Can't wait for more.

A stellar game that is a follow up (though not sequel) to STWA: The Author, which was in and of itself top tier! The girls in this game are all really well fleshed out personality-wise, and quite distinct, as compared to the generic bimbos that infest many AVNs. This is certainly a game to play, enjoy, and support. My only complaint is that I'll probably have to pick just one girl eventually, and there's so many I'm in to!

Oh, and of course, the writing and art are superb. I'm just currently fixated on the girls. ;)

Everything I've wanted to say has already been explained quite profusely down below

STWA gives us something to write about ourselves with how much content he's given us as an introduction. The writing remains flawless as well as the overall character development, plot coherence, and visual renders. Absolutely nothing feels forced and the pacing is very smooth, making us forget for a second that we're playing a game and instead taking part in a very realistic story. Renders were already pretty solid before but the dev has definitely upped the level of quality.

Dev clearly has a game plan for how this will go and he has the skills to execute it masterfully with each new update. Kudos

Great work as always. Would like to thank the creator for the great transition of the mood, setting and characters from The Author to the current VN. Despite the setting, the characters, the mood and pacing being completely different from the previous work, the connection to the Author seems very natural through the brief story interactions. Good to see that the character relationships are also looking to branch out to a wider range like a mentor or guardian figure than just the love interest and acquaintance roles in The Author.
Keep up the good work, and please maintain a steady pace of releases as with The Author as this one has gotten me hooked right from the start.

Just like the Devs other game, this one is well written out, and the graphics are on point and very nice. The way the story is written, and dialog is laid out, makes you feel like you are living in the MC head. The Mc was told was a Solder, he often reflects back, and references his pas, Drawing you more into what the character is thinking. The choices that are there and the dialog between characters are really nice and well planned out.

I played it and loved it! But its realy a pity that there is no harem when you got a lot of hot chicks.

The Renders, the storytelling are fantastic like the author which i loved. A little bit anoying is that you got an rival. I know that all the others are mostly the same (1 MC got all fun) but this is - as long no ntr involved - good and i cant wait to see more. Definetly in my top10 this game!

Try it and look for yourself :)

An upgrade from dev's 1st game
    • Looking forward for the story because the Author was good and so far it is not a disappointment. I am a fan of MMA and i really like what i am seeing, can't wait to see what the writer had in mind
    • Renders are better than the first game and i am pleased with it
    • Scene is animated, there is only one scene so far in part 1 and i hope it continues.
    • Haven't found a single bugs, so thats a plus
So far it is a great game, clearly better than the first game in all aspects except the story (because its only part 1)

Looking forward for more and if you haven't played yet, you have to!

quality of renders versus creator's first game is substantial, showing marked improvement (first game is absolutely worth playing, though). writing is top quality for the medium, literarily and technically. length is excellent for an initial release. no legitimate complaints, this is in the highest percentile for visual novels on here. choices matter. creator has a good idea of not too many nor too few love interests to bog down or bore the player, number which shouldn't impair production/release schedule. 5/5 dru is still best girl.

Disclaimer - Story first type of person

Having played STWADev's The Author - and greatly enjoying that AVN - I was very excited to experience Unbroken; especially since it occurs in the same universe as The Author. But as mentioned in the thread it is not mandatory to experience The Author first but hey why would you not want to?

STWADev is a fantastic writer and storyteller, and he has only sharpened his skills since the conclusion of The Author. The first chapter is dense and robust introducing many of the characters but like The Author I would expect others to show up in further chapters. He quickly builds each characters' personality and starts to lay the groundwork on their goals \ desires without pages of exposition. There are numerous choices throughout and more than just the typical love hate variables for the LIs. STWADev looks to be working on a way to make the LIs more dynamic with multiple variables. So yep probably multiple playthroughs but I - as a story first person - really appreciate the love and effort he is putting to the LIs. Oh.,..and this chapter also brings the feels...choked up at least three times. There is some heavy subject matter but STWADev handles it perfectly IMO.

I'm very impressed with STWADev's scene setup and render quality in this chapter. As I mentioned in my review of The Author is was great seeing his skills continue to increase over that AVN but boy they have leveled up out of the gate with Unbroken - he has really delivered in this area! The subtle animations to empathize emotion and elicit response from the player are fantastic. And of course, the LIs are absolutely gorgeous and match their personalities perfectly!

The callbacks to The Author add a little extra touch of course (great seeing Aoife again).

STWADev has another great story to share, and I highly recommend you give it a try!
