I would also like to see more non-death scenes, especially if there's consequences for the player regarding their own corruption/addiction/mental degradation. Which seems like a logical progression the more it happens, given how rapturous the experience is depicted as.

I think we are going to get more non-death related sex scenes just by the nature of the game as we meet more people and companions, we get more allies on our side, etc... With that said the main appeal to me personally of this game is the death sex scene, the game scratches that itch that games like Succubus Covenant or Succubus Prison do as well, those games are fairly rare so I would still like for the games main focus to be the death sex scenes overall.

This user is correct IMO, if there is one suggestion i can make that isnt about the game itself its about the banner of the game on this site. I purely by accident found this game and one of the major reason when i click on a new game is if the first image you see of the game captivates you when you are scrolling the latest updated page or whatever tags you are looking through.
IMO you can keep the banner but on each side of it you should have maybe images of lets say Lilia and Aziela in their succubus form, something like that. I mentioned these 2 games before but Succubus Prison and Succubus Covenant have decent banners that show off 1 or more succubi that immediately catches peoples eyes before they even click on the game.
So something to think about maybe when you do your next update or something.

Yes, indeed, the developer is doing a great job, it's a shame to lose audience this way, it could harm the development of the game

This game looks like a diamond in the rough, it needs a lot more love thrown into it (super early release, not much content yet) and a good proofreader (I think the writer probably mostly learned English from listening to it spoken rather than reading, lots of little errors that come from being more familiar with spoken than written English such as "could of" in place of could've/could have), but I think it could be a very high quality game in another year or two if the dev keeps up the good work. Love the art, the animations are top notch, and the facial expressions during dialogue and the scenes are great. Not entirely sure on the combat system yet, still very early days and hard to judge, but it avoided being overly tedious for now. I won't post a real review for this yet since it's so new and there's only like 4 scenes but I will be watching to see how this game comes along.
EDIT- forgot to mention the story, which is pretty interesting so far but is really only a hook at the moment. We haven't seen much but what is there is enough to keep me wondering what will happen next, which is all you can really ask for from such an early release as this. Seems to be shaping up to be a fairly classic tale, so long as you keep sprinkling in the tail-ussy, I think people will come back for more next version.

Yeah I think the correct balance is definitely to keep the death scenes primary. But with occasional (maybe 1/3 or something around that) of the energy drain scenes being survivable (possibly depending on choices made within or before the scene).

Honestly i would say more like 1/4 or 1/5, so far we have 4 sex scenes in the game and 50% of them are survivable. I am hoping as we meet more enemy succubi that balances out and the majority of them clearly end in death. With that said yea you can just dictate some of the outcomes depending on the choices, but I also want some outcomes to be pretty much dead ends, like if you are warned not to visit that dark looking tower over there and you do, no matter what you do after you are screwed, stuff like that.

So far what I've seen of this, the animation is damn good and the writing is amazing for the h-scenes. If this game gets abandoned I will be super sad, it has insane potential. Keep up the great work!

I definitely agree, but I think 1/3 works since 2:1 unavoidable:avoidable death to me seems like a good ratio that still makes death scenes/consequences primary while an actual player will probably die in at least a few hypothetical drain scenes where different options can lead to either survival (with other consequences) or death. So they'd still experience something like a 1/4 rate of survivable scenes, accounting for scenes where they die initially and have to make different choices or simply avoid the sex scene if they want to continue. But this is just quibbling over random numbers, I agree that visiting the dark evil tower should have appropriate consequences.

I hear you i am just worried it might get out of hand or water down the succubi. I love succubi, not just as sexy demons but their overall concept. These creatures of lust and temptation that lead men astray and make them pay the ultimate price for a little pleasure. If the Main Character just starts banging them left and right and survives them that kills the whole fun and intrigue of the succubi.
I guess i am saying it all depends on how its done. Vilnera is a good example, losing to a high ranking succubi like that and having sex with her should be a guaranteed death sentence, no matter what the MC does after its over for him... the ONLY way he can survive is if someone else interferes like we saw happen. I am fine with something like that, as long as its not overused as well otherwise it would turn into a gimmick.
In the end i think we agree its just that we each lean more towards a different preference.
Anyway what i am REALLY trying to say is next time we meet Vilnera i hope she doesnt get interrupted cause damn do i like her design and personality and we only got a taste of what her scene would look like. Given how amazingly animated Lilias scene is i cant wait see how Vilneras will look like. The dev has a lot of talent with animation and writing, all the dialogue feels so natural and each character feels like their own thing, i think this game is gonna do really great once it gets a bit further into development and uncovers more of the story and settings.

Arlith Game being rated 4,5 could be right or wrong depending on personal tastes and criteria, thats just the average of all the ratings. I disagree that the game is underdeveloped its a 5 month old game with 4 sex scenes in it that are some of the best animated scenes i have seen in a game like this, it is grindy but not to the extent you mention i assume you probably did something wrong for it take you hours to grind it. The God mode option is also not "annoyingly hidden" you can see it in the screen before you even have to scroll down for literally a few milimeters
but maybe you are using some weird resolution or something. Also only 2 out of 4 sex scenes end in death, not sure where you got 3 of them and on the point of that one of the main kinks of the game is death by snu snu basically, you fight a succubus, lose, experience the sex scene, re-load defeat/avoid her and move on to the next one, rinse and repeat. I know to some this can seem counter-intuitive but thats the main kink and is advertised on the front page and its somewhat of a niche genre in itself with games like Monster Girl Quest, Succubus Prison, Succubus Covenant, Succubus Academia, SHRIFT, etc.... Even aside some of the incorrect things you got about the game above, holding this part against the game as a negative makes no sense to me, its as if i went into a furry or a NTR game and got mad that i experienced furry or NTR scenes...
I dunno maybe there should be a large warning in red on the front page saying "FIGHT, DIE, REPEAT" or something lol.

The majority will be the latter, but I plan to have a few that you can improve relations beyond friends, though that won't be any time in the near future.

I know the main draw is the succubus' nature, but it would be nice to have a few scenes that don't have a definitive bad end. The struggle to suppress their nature during the act could be hot.
I dont understand when people come into a game and want to change the fundamental aspect of the game. Didnt we already get an answer that there will be some scenes that dont end in death but the main focus is the death scenes? Learn to live with that already.
