It actually starts to get challenging in the later levels (level 17) when the priests and assassins are in play, IF you aren't bored to death by the simplicity of the first ten levels to make it there. Should have added the assassins on level 3 to make it a bit more interesting. Unfortunately there is a lot of RNG with who the assassin will buff, and buffing the wrong guy will kill a run.
Edit I got to level 21 I take back the part I said about challenging. Dumb design choice makes it super easy

Bruh rng? really :d
Unfortunately.

There are assassins that will buff another enemy in the same tower by an amount equal to its own strength. Now, some of the better designed levels require you to defeat enemies in a certain order to funnel that buff to specific enemies in order to maximize the power you get. Some of the -poorer- designed ones however, like level 26, it's completely RNG which ones get buffed, and if the wrong one gets buffed, you lose, simple as that.

Yeah, the assassins and the dildos really are the only thing that makes it not a straight Add/Subtract session, but the fact that the assassins are pure RNG kills it entirely. It'd actually have been a fairly solid game if the assassins showed up really early, and their rule was 'buffs the weakest enemy in the tower' or 'buffs the next enemy down in line' or 'buffs the enemy closest in value to you' or something. Maybe with a few other enemies that (eg) snipe something in another tower, or do something based on *your* current value rather than their own. (like, adds the difference between your values to you... So incentive to save them for when you're bigger)
