I wish I liked this more because the cover art is very cute and I am a big fan of these 2d pixel H-platformers, but this one is just very mediocre and honestly, quite obnoxious too.

Firstly, the art - it's just not very good. The sprites themselves are very cute but the actual H-animations vary drastically in quality. The artist has a thing for wildly-massive asses and it just looks weird and bulky and awkward more than sexy or appealing. Of course this is subjective, but it definitely veers into wacko-cartoonish proportions more than most games. This might sound dumb, but it just feels a bit sauceless in general, which makes it less sexy.

There's a lot more writing in this than I initially expected. They shoot for this "comedic" back and forth between your sidekick and this 'chaotic' magician character. Hate to say it, but I find this to be the cringiest aspect of the game by far, which says a lot considering I'm playing a porn game. It really dampens the vibe even further when this magician character keeps popping up just to tout some unfunny tumblr shitpost.

The upside is that there are a lot of animations and enemies to see - there's almost certainly something that at least tickles your fancy, I just found that it was a very slim number that did for me.

The game is also not very good as a game - which I often don't care about if the game would rather focus on its H-content, in fact I prefer it. I think there could've been more H-related status effects, and the fact that all of the capture animations are in these suspended little animations sort of pulls you out of the game even further.

Really enjoyed this one! Plenty of monsters and awesome visuals. The gameplay feels fresh with the new mechanics. The story is simple yet pleasant to follow, and the art style is great to look at. I also didn't encounter any bugs during my playthrough. It's a solid experience

During the demos, I've always wondered how this could be turned into a full-length game. Turns out, it can't.

The idea was very flawed from the very start, and it just kept getting worse as the game progressed. The entire game is just walking to the other side of the screen, with some mediocre puzzles thrown into the mix. It easily could've been a short 30-minute game, but it gets dragged on for so long and a lot of it feels like filler to cram in hundreds of CGs.

They try to spice up the gameplay with masks that give you abilities, but they're just different movement options that makes the game's flaws more obvious. 90% of enemies just walk around and appear right in front of you, and these movement options just allow you to breeze past them.

They tried to add platforming to the walking sim, but even that wasn't fleshed out well nor playtested. The jumping feels awful because you move slightly faster while doing it. And one of the later areas was so annoying to get past because you weren't getting boosted high enough onto platforms (that destroy themselves after a split second).

The final sequence was just pathetic and doesn't play very smoothly. Losing feels more like the game's fault because it didn't work very well. Again, you can't make a full-length game out of a walking simulator.

Anyway the art is okay and the writing is extremely cringe. It sounds like reddit humor and I just started skipping all character dialogue because of that.

In my personal opinion this has to be the best femdom rape game I have ever played, with a beautiful balance of dialogue and and animations with the dialogue been very well paced and the scenes being of exceptional quality with very distinct stages in the animation.
This all culminates in the best scenes I have ever seen as these are perfectly paced they are not too long or too short.

The gameplay is very well polish3ed with enemies being thematic of the areas they are in and most of them having a unique type of attack or method of being encountered.
The use of unique masks and and puzzles that utilise these masks also adds to shake up he gameplay from just parkour and dodging enemies.
The boss fights are also distinct and present their own forms challenge with the use of gimmicks to add more interesting and difficult challenges unlike those presented by regular enemies.

This is less of a review and just a paragraph of gushing over this game as I truly believe it is the most well balanced and complete game in the genre as I have played hundreds and this may be the only one that makes me follow the creator and watch his dev logs like a hawk,.

Two years... the game was updated and updated, I replayed every patch, and after the army I went through the game and I can say that it was a heart-rending journey, and the ending had no limit to my tears.

Just wanted to say, this game was a huge pain in the ass to complete, especially because I played on Android, the later parts of the game you have to switch sides very fast to pass, well timed jumps, hook and climbing, outrun chasers... the puzzles are simple if you know what to search for, the problem is that some of the clues are well hidden and I got a really bad time in some of those...

The auto save sometimes just screw me, other times the game just stop working and soft lock me in some area, controls just stop working in some areas, black screen in random areas and scenes... honestly I just keep trying, the only thing keeping me until the end was the characters and easter eggs, I had a lot of fun with the many jokes and secrets...

Story was okay, but the thing that I'm most angry about is the end, for all the suffering a had to endure in that ending sequence, I wanted a happy ending and a last scene, instead I feel sad with this tragedy... I will search for another ending.
If I can't find it, I will be mad.

Besides that, the game was good and I recommend if you want a challenging plataform game, with a lot of scenes animated.

Story is cute to my perspective, the gameplay is fine tho some parts will give you hell for backtracking.
The sex scenes are arousing, I can't say much about the dialogues but they are well done in the femdom sense, to each their taste.
Would give 4.5 stars but we don't have decimals for voting, so I'll round it to 4.
Many seem to mention bugs, I am either too good or too rigid with how I play because i saw none, I played this a good chunk of time ago before hotfix releases.

Good game, but dont really have much "sauce"

For starters lets talk about the goods:
Animation is pretty great, and you get 2 per enemy. Amazing balance between quantity and quality. Variations are pretty okay, nothing too outlandish, couldve had more niche fetishes like pheromones(actual pheromones not fart but pink), monster parts(other than tail) and probably armpits(giga biased on this one).

The designs are pretty cool also, not just simple kemonos and succubi there are good amount of other types of creatures, though still a bit too humanoid. Also the collabs with some artist youve seen on twitter is very good, sort of fit the tone of the game.

For the writing, i cant criticize much because im not big into it. But i kinda like this one, not too humorous while pushing it into "self-aware parody" and not being too serious of a fantasy setting.

Now for the things that are very important to the gameplay, sadly these are the ones bringing the score down.
Firstly the visual, its hard to see anything. On some areas there are too much clutter on the levels, for example the first area, you have a LOT of bushes and tall grass which does not look pretty. I assume in the first iteration of the game, the hiding mechanic is tied to these bushes and they forgot to revamp the visuals later on.
Still on the same page, the saturation for most of the levels are too high. Not sure if its my monitors problem, but a lot of areas are either blindingly bright or blindingly dark, also doesnt help that youre supposed to look for a low opacity sparkle effects in the middle of those blinding colors(there are an option to buff those effects, but by default that shit is almost invisible)

For the gameplay itself is pretty standard, a standard "begone woman" platformer where you have to mash if you get caught. the enemy behavior have some variety, but most of the time its the patroling type enemy.
The mask is a great idea but the execution is not as great(still good), The demon mask is the better option against most of the other masks except for stages specifically made for certain masks.
The "combat" stages are pretty eh, it looks action-packed but ingame it feels a little bit boring, the finale is pretty nice though! love the "mask gauntlet" mechanic where youre forced to used certain mask(and not rely on the demon crutch)

The animation mechanic could use some QoL, specifically on the "cannot escape" part. Let me skip it. Youre forced to see 3 spurts of cum everytime you fail and with the almost trial-by-fire progression it feels bad to waste a bit of time just because of either misinput, or just a shitty save(almost got stuck getting perma handjob by the sigma woman)


The control schemes are a little bit too qwirky for my liking, it is a good idea to focus on one-handed controls but good lord there are multiple buttons that can be used. combo buttons should feel more comfortable to do, having the needs to press W first then shift and not the other way around is not comfortable(to me atleast) and good lord Q and E buttons are there and waiting, whats the point of a combo button if theres a better and faster option available??
The menu is also a bit too qwirky, couldve shown all the scroll options like ye olde ps1 games but dimmed.

The puzzles are enjoyable, the torch lighting stage where you need to use the actual wisp is pretty cool. The path divergence with the minecart is unique and cool, the ninja grapples are a bit janky and offers a bit of a challenge but still enjoyable nonetheless.

The quests range from instaclear to almost unberable, with minimal hints it would be cool to solve for yourself but with the aforementioned visual clutters and bad visibility in some stages, backtracking doesnt seem too fun even with the demon mask skips and speed.


Overall, it couldve been better. An amazing gallery full of great animation paired with good enough text with an okay-ish gameplay.

It's already a pretty good scene collector. With every bad ending having different blurb add to the charm.

For the story, It has empty start and miss ending, but the journey it self was the important part.
Pro tip : in the setting there's an option to highlights intractable, put it on max to enhance playtime.

For the gameplay, nothing start unless you have a mask, in which case congrats!
You start as hide and seek to jumping Luigi, I bet some of you even forgot Willow will blink on and off when there's enemy nearby.

In the end it's hard to say this game is anything but scene collector platformer.
The main character is a mute who act as an observer to a word overrun by monster and in the end he change and achieve nothing that impact said world

Really liked the game, with a good number of scenes. Not the most advanced, but enjoyable. The story was okay, not groundbreaking, but kept me engaged in the game. The puzzle and platforming gameplay were interesting enough.

Wish there was more footjob lol. The bunny in the image doesn't really appear in the game other than a painting inside a house.
The game is so much fun and made me play through it all in one playthrough! It is that good and hooking.

Prelude
In actuality, I believe I first played Hunt a while ago on a whim, because H-Platformers tend to be a lot more interesting than their H aspect. That being said, back when I first played this game all it really felt like was a walk right simulator with sex in between. Which as my previous reviews have likely made clear, I could care less for.

The last time I had played it the game went up to the Sigma Clan Encampment, and I had enjoyed it a little, but nothing was very fun from a gameplay perspective. Compared to games like Eroico, or even games that it was more similar to such as Drain Mansion, the platforming just wasn't all that engaging.

Mumasekai came out recently, which I was quite interested in playing, which somehow led to me discovering this game had been completed since the last time I had seen it. So, I decided to give it a try again, start to finish.

Man was I pleasantly surprised.

Story
The game's narrative wasn't exactly something I was all that interested in last time I played, but for the sake of giving it a genuine shot, I paid more attention than last time, reading books and whatnot. I was certainly more interested in what was going on, though I won't say the story is anything incredible by any means, I was certainly sad for Umbra by the game's end. Maybe not crying, but a little teary, maybe. The writing aside from the story is also funny, quite funny, it's a funny game if anything.

Gameplay
It's a real shame that the version of the game I played prior stopped where it did, because the second half of the game really does introduce some interesting platforming aspects. The last few masks, most specifically the frog and shinobi outfit itself, as well as the last two areas provide some of the most interesting mechanics the game has to offer. I was thoroughly enjoying the last few rooms as well as the finale, and they were even I'd say a little challenging. Great work. Though the puzzles could've gotten more complex in my opinion.

Bosses
Honestly calling this game's bosses, bosses, would be a bit of a stretch. Even still, all of them were relatively enjoyable, with the last one being a genuine highlight of the game. Though I'd argue the last few platforming segments before that boss was actually more engaging than the boss itself.

Soundtrack
A h-game that has it's own OST? Am I dreaming? And it's good?! Eroico had a nice boss track, sure, SHRIFT and SMNG have specially composed comissioned tracks that are iconic in their own right, but I have a lot of respect for a game going out of it's way to have a completely original soundtrack. It's on youtube too, and it fucking slaps. All the area tracks feel like they have the right amount of ambience and fit their locales to a T, and the boss themes are just.. legitmately incredible. Or well the last two, I don't remember the first boss theme as well... Not all the tracks are on youtube as of this review, so perhaps they aren't all original? Even still, I hope that final boss track is posted soon, I'd legitmately listen to it while doing other stuff.

Conclusion
It's a 4/5, its surprising to me that it is a 4/5. I really really wished it could've been a 5/5, but it was definitely a system of too little too late gameplay wise, as a lot of the fun in this game is relegated to it's backhalf. I can see a lot of people not playing that far, I guess if you're horny you can look past that, so thats good for you.

At the end of the day, the game has good platforming eventually, really fun writing, and a story that while not the deepest thing in the world, coupled with it's genuinely stellar soundtrack, did leave me a little bittersweet by the end. I believe this game has multiple endings, though I don't know how many(I'm assuming two unless there's a true ending). The one I got certainly left me with a small hole in my heart, which is always a good sign.

I just wish the game was like it's backhalf for the entire runtime.

So at the end of the day, it's a 4/5.

I'll probably do a review on Mumasekai and I guess I never did a Drain Mansion review did I.

You should play this game, either for the horny or for the fun characters, and then you might find yourself having fun playing it itself by the end, like I did.

Almost a good game, just riddled with game breaking bugs. Once you get about 10% through the game, youll get to an area with a ledge you cant jump over. If you try reloading the save, the path will be blocked however the girl that follows you will not open the gate.

been following the game for a while, and now that it's completed i cant help but say that it feels hollow
the gameplay is non existent, you go right and solve puzzles that consist of flipping switches and seeing what happens
the story is also lackluster, some parts are confusing (like certain enemies randomly becoming allies)
the only good thing in the game is the animations, which carry the game entirely, and even then the animations are rough around the corners (some are the exact same animations with different characters, ie just recolors)
overall good animations with very bad gameplay

I've been following this game's development since nearly the beginning, and man... I really, really wish I could justify giving it a higher rating. However, as a game, it falls short in a lot of regards, especially early on. Most of this game involves just running and jumping to the right. It has some side quests, sure, but they aren't particularly rewarding... they just give you a gallery scene that you can easily access without putting in any extra work.

Speaking of the gallery, the animations are the only thing this game has going for it. And sure, they're pretty good, but quite a few of them re-use animations for different characters. The game advertises 200 lewd scenes, but in all actuality, the number is a fair bit lower than that. This is especially true with earlier characters--as you advance onward this becomes less of a problem, which is nice at least.

The story as well is... meh. I don't know how many people are playing h-games for the story, but it's only *alright*. A lot of things happen without much explanation (seriously, when/why did the ninja girl and plant girl become allies? they kinda just started helping us at some point--did I skip past a scene or something??)

Overall, the gallery's alright. Everything else about the game isn't very worth the time, I don't think.

Gameplay: 2/5
This is a VERY barebones platformer/puzzle game, where you continuously walk right while avoiding enemies that pop up every now and then. Later on in the game, you will unlock masks which provide boosts to the player as long as it is equipped. One of these masks is the Gargoyle Mask, which grants you a triple jump and is obtained around halfway through the game. This mask trivialises whatever platformer sections you encounter later on (as if they weren't already easy enough) and lets you easily jump over any enemies you encounter, essentially reducing the game to a walking simulator.

Writing: 3/5
In the settings, there's an option which allows you to enable hints (I highly recommend turning on this option) for where G-Coins are located, which is indicated by shiny particles on an object. When you interact with these objects, you gain a G-Coin which is used to unlock scenes in the Gallery and also a little interaction between some of the characters following you. These interactions are short and simple, but they can be entertaining at times and are basically the main thing that'll keep you from being bored to death. There's also a plot, I guess... But it feels more like an afterthought in an attempt to add more depth to the game.

Really nice pixel art. From what I counted in the Gallery, there are 96 girls in the game and each of them has 2 scenes (capture + game over). The scenes are only short animation loops + cumshot, but that's still an impressive amount of scenes nonetheless.

Overall: 3/5
Gameplay-wise, this game had some potential but sadly it ended up being wasted and reduced to a walking simulator. If the art is what caught your eye, just get a Gallery save for it. Although, I guess there's still some entertainment you can get out of this game through the dialogue.

there should've been a willow sex scene

Coming from the perspective of someone who waited for the full release of the game since about v0.7/8 I think that as of the completed release of that it is just okay. It's nothing too difficult, fairly generic in gameplay with some unique things about it that both help and hinder the experience for me.

For starters, the masks. In my time playing I found them to have some of my biggest gripes with how they work, specifically with both the frog mask and ninja suit. The frog mask allows you to breathe underwater, wall jump and swim, sounds neat on paper but in game is used for only about five seconds in water sections that should be perfectly swimmable in literally any other platformer without a mechanic like this along with some incredibly finnicky wall jumping controls. The ninja suit is much the same, it lets you double jump and grapple. The former one is particularly more annoying as I frequently found myself either grappling onto grapple-points I wasn't even near or just straight up not even working.

As far as my gameplay went, I pretty much only kept on the Warthog mask at all times as it let me triple jump and run fast (not as fast as other masks let you but it still works) as it is extremely powerful and even lets me skip entire sections of the game. In fact, you can avoid about 90% of the enemies by just jumping over them and running away with this mask on, quite shocking considering you obtain this mask fairly early into the game.

Still, however, I can give this a three star score even with my major critiques as I did find myself with some fun to be had in the puzzle designs and few bosses it had. Not bad, but could be a hell of a lot better.
