Unity - Succubus Reborn [v20241024b] [Sda-lab]

I played this way more than I should have and lost way more than I should have just because I wanted to see what would happen if I lost. One of the greats and I shamelessly took other peoples decks because I had no idea what I was doing.

This game is really good, what?!
It clearly needs some tweaks, like an English translation, but... wow.

The card game is really fun!
It has a considerable amount of different monsters, spells, traps and effects that combine well with each other and allow the formation of various types of decks that don't seem forced, some even intuitive.

The animations are very well done and in good quantity... the girls are even customizable and have voice acting.

The only sad thing is that there aren't many opponents or any other type of extensive content to truly enjoy the decks.

I honestly didn't expect even half of this. The game seems to have small but constant updates. I definitely recommend checking it out.

One of the best seggs games, beautiful animation and creativity, hot while not being over the top and the best part is, it has a lot of potential, the format is amazing for continuous characters and i'm glad they're still updating it and adding new ones!!

- Its a card game with somewhat similiar rules to hearthstone, i had trouble understanding whats going on with this terrible translation and first games were uninteresting. After experimating with own deck i started beating ai, then after a while it became too easy, lots of balance would be needed.

- animations are on point and like half of the scenes are super hot and worth checking just for quality

- not much to do once you figure out deck that works, also if you play as you should (with units) you dont see much of H scenes since they are used on enemy

Overall this could be way better than it is with polish, still worth playing.

For the scenes alone this is extremely worth playing, but the card game adds a whole heap of depth and is actually something the devs have taken seriously to develop, and so you can actually make serious decks to beat people with.

I'm not going to pretend I've played the card game enough to understand it, but I can praise the high quality of the scenes and how the various debuffs/buffs the "Squeezers" can get physically affects them or their dialogue in some way. You even have the ability to mess with individual "Squeezer" colours and make parts of them or their outfits blue or whatever.

Should you play this? Yeah, if you like card games.
Should you get this only for the animated scenes? If you enjoy the boobs being gigantic and even bigger, absolutely.

Firstly, the raw gameplay (9.5/10):

This game is honestly very well-made, and I would enjoy playing this as a SFW game, even. I don't normally like to play many card battlers out there, so this one came as a bit of a shocker with how enjoyable of an experience it was for me. The lack of a tutorial/listed rules felt daunting at first, but the rules were simple enough to figure out that I won my second match using the starter decks. The game makes it very clear what cards can be activated, which effects are available right now, and what the available targets are. Balance seems pretty good, and I've yet to find a perfect deck that can guarantee a win against any other deck, because there's already so many viable strategies out there that you can't counter everything. I found myself playing this quite a lot already, and sometimes think up new build synergies while in the shower lol.

The art (8/10):

I'll start off by saying it's incomplete, and most cards are best to have a custom sprite pack just to have something there. That's the main reason for docking the points. For the art that is done, though, it is pretty well-done, and could easily be a 9 or a 10 from me. There's a bit for everyone out there. Boobs vs ass? Both are equally represented here, and equally enjoyable. There's plenty of animated scenes, all having different poses, with more coming each updates. The squeezers that have official art all have animations, too, including one for each of their attacks/abilities (the newest ones do not come out with everything animated/drawn, but will come with future updates). I love that you can edit the colors of various parts on a per-deck-per-card basis, in case you want your redhead to be a blonde, for example. The voice acting is pretty decent, though some I found to be super repetitive (bunny girl's taunt will repeat very often, for instance). I also like that certain scenes also have a variant when you right click during playback. I also find the fact that there's multiple ways of skipping scenes to be nice, as you can hold right click before one plays to skip it, on top of changing the global settings of when they should be played to begin with.

All in all?

It is worth trying out, even if you don't normally like this genre. Great gameplay, with a solid foundation and promising future, and good art make this one I wouldn't recommend passing up. I'm giving it 5 stars, because it deserves more than 4, and 4.5 is not a valid option. It would get a "true" 5 star rating out of me if everything had art, but I imagine that day will come eventually, once the game is "finished."

STORY .../5:

As of this review there are a series of NPCs utilizing the basic archetypes of the game. There are no plot or story moments, but these fights serve as great grounds to learn the game and challenge your deck building. This serves as more of a demo to gameplay than fulfilling the roles of a story.

CHARACTERS 2/5:

You can learn about the succubus and how their occupations and activties lends themselves to being squeezers. I particularly love the humans as they cover porn cliches such as being a bunny girl at a casino, students, nurses. I would like to learn more about how they came to be entities in this game we play once a story is realized.

ART 5/5:
A generic anime art style, that serves this game well. This has allowed the developers to show a good spread of different body types that will satisfy most players. While character faces might be copy and pasted, their bodies are exciting and designed well to differentiate each other. From huge tits, ass, lolicon, milfs, and even less fetishized realistic body standards.

SCENES 5/5:
This game is blessed with a variety of sex scenes. Most of which are animated very well and has me revisiting the game time and time again. The squeezers: Cheerleader and Cheerful Gym Student have me hooked. I never been more willing to be attacked by my opponent or be attacked by own characters if one of my favorite squeezers are on the field. There a couple of cards that receive less attention even after a series of updates. The BF Class President and the Dragon Mariana. Both characters have only one scene that focus on a specific fetish: rimjobs and vore respectively (None of which I particularly care for so I am not hurt by this lack of representation). These scenes are not animated well nor do they see much gameplay in the community, which is a shame because these characters are drawn very well.

Edit: There is no vore, but the scene is so ambiguous I could not tell where the succubus body began and the players ended. It looked like her body was inflated from us being swallowed.

GAMEPLAY 2/5:
There is no tutorial for this game and the NPCs are no cake walk in the beginning. Because of this, the game will turn away many who are not willing to learn or those who are bored with the two deck presets and can’t get into building an effective deck using their favorite characters. All of which is understandable. Many of my favorite characters do not have effective win condition strategies or are used in less than honorable ways of winning. Some strategies I would like to see more support for is putting characters into estrus or building around the faith effect. One of the effective strategies is deck milling. It uses some of my favorite characters such as the hungry succubus, a very high-risk high reward character that is a key to the strategy. She has other abilities but are not utilized to great effects.

Speaking of which, many of these characters have a long list of effects. Hungry succubus has four, some characters go up to six! People don't read Yu-Gi-Oh’s long card effects, so don't expect people to read the effects of these cards.

CONCLUSION
This game has seen the most investment out of me in its development and I am hooked with sex scenes and art style alone. The gameplay is unique and executed decently that requires a deal of understanding to begin creating your own decks. Sex scenes are incredible are often revisited. And a great cast of body types and scenes that you can create a deck that fulfills your sexual fantasies for that evening.

This game has a lot of potential and hope the updates do not stop. I would like to the developers to work on fleshing out the win conditions that are already in the game with better supporting spell cards and minions.

The lack of a story or characters does not effect my enjoyment and is not necessary for those to get some fun out of this game. Succubus Reborn is a hit and a miss for most people and for me its a hit. I enjoy crafting decks around my favorite girls, aesthetics and mechanics even though they are not all successful

OVERALL 4.5/5

Side note: I would love to see the community work on creating a better repository for effective deck strategies and tutorial for the game to keep more people engaged.

It's a card game, and a pretty decent one at that. I've not got the time or will for an in-depth review at the moment, so I'll just put some things I like and things I don't.

Likes:
A good amount of customization for the girls.
The animations are pretty damn good.
QOL options in the way of being able to skip scenes or make them autoplay, which not many games have
Pre-built decks are viable with little to no editing

Dislikes:
No tutorial, at least that I know of.
Censored. At least there's an uncensor patch though, which is nice, even though it's unofficial (I think).
Deck building menu could be a little easier to navigate.
No story mode, or even any plot, so it's free battles only.

It could be better, but then again, so could most games. I recommend giving it a try at the very least, even if only to check out the animations. Who knows? You might end up liking it.

I don't get all the praise and high rating, it's a meh adult game and a meh card game. Maybe if there was some sort of progression and campaign, then it could be interesting.

Points for the effort of having interesting gameplay, but i don't see it going anywhere if it's just a sandbox.

Yes, yes, this is a genuinely good card game that will only get better as more cards and modes are added.
Yes, the dynamic between squeezers and minions is great, the temptation mechanics are interesting, and the various card status effects and how they force actions or affect behavior is clever
But can we appreciate how perfect this Nun's ass is?

I enjoy several of the card games on here, including TF battle and others. This has to be one of the most unique and decently balanced games.

Gameplay:

The rules of the game take a bit of time to learn, but once you figure it out, the game becomes rather addicting. Even though the game is still developing it has a lot of depth in the strategies you can employ.

Being able to craft your deck any way you want also adds a lot to the replayability. You can get very creative to see what works and what doesn't.

In addition, the developer allows for a lot of opportunities to customize the game. First, there is a card editor included that allows you to customize the appearance of the squeezer cards (main cards you build your deck around). You can also easily mod the appearance of any of the other cards by simply dropping images in the usercustomdata/sprites folder.

You can also customize nearly every other aspect of the game as well: video, audio, battle settings, animation settings, and it looks like online may be in the works.

My one complaint so far is the poor computer AI. I think that will likely be among the final tweaks though, so I'm not docking a star for it.

The ability to share decks through deck codes is also a very nice addition. I'll add my favorite as bonus for those who read this review.

Porn Content:
It will get repetitive, like any card game, but the art is really good and the animations are excellent. There are various types of girls (though you will likely end up with all of them being busty due to the buff breast expansion gives) and the voice acting (though limited) is well done.

The option to turn off or skip animations also prevents repetition from ruining your enjoyment if you get bored of them (I haven't despite many hours of play). In fact you can control nearly everything about them: when they trigger, if they trigger, how fast they play, etc.

As for fapping while playing, I honestly find myself too engrossed in the gameplay to think about it, but I would consider the content good enough to get off if you want to. The game can also be played one-handed, if that is your thing.

Updates:
The updates are pretty timely and add nice content. There are not very many bugs and I've only found one in the latest build (ver20210424b). Overall, I don't foresee any problems with the development in the game.

Final Word:
Try it out. Give it about an hour and you won't be disappointed. Mind you the Japanese is a bit difficult, so I recommend using the ReiPatcher translation mod provided. Great game!

This deck relies on the Idol squeezer to push out her fans and then buff them to protect you while you unseal your idols and go in for the kill. Don't be afraid to sacrifice a fan for an urgent conscription. Schoolgirls and Cheergirls will buff your minions and keep the enemies field clear.

Like Magic the Gathering but the Lands are Horny Planeswalkers and Tapping takes a whole new meaning here.

Seriously though, the game has some of the best animated Live2d artwork I've seen in a porn game. Customization is good, though getting the right colors for each milker can be a bit difficult. Deckbuilding is fun, and the game allows for multiple paths to winning matches. The computer could be improved in terms of decision making, but I assume that comes later.

Game updates once/twice a month so it's constantly evolving which is nice.

Lastly, game's really only played with a mouse, with keyboard usage limited to typing in names for decks and little else. In other words this game' played with one hand.

Really cool game. The animations are super nice and I quite enjoy the art style. The card game itself is solidly designed with a variety of play-styles, even if the AI is rudimentary and can only play simple ones.
I always look forward to updates, especially ones that actually add anims.
Great game

Really great, I'm hoping the creator adds some challenge decks to face off against. Maybe with some unlockable content after beating each deck. As it is now, it can get boring playing against decks you made yourself.

It's not bad, the game portion of it certainly has some effort, but the content it offers is pretty common so you end up with a slightly better game than average but with censored common content which is slightly below average so it ends up being 2.5, which can round up to 3 since there is some definite effort put into the game. If you're okay with the compromise this is probably higher for you but for me I felt like I'd rather play a dedicated card game or an adult game with similar content that showed more.

One of my favourite games. I love card games and this is both novel and well done. Build decks with cute girls and squeeze each other empty, or yourself if you're inclined to do that. Highest recommendations for this game.

Good Base for a game so far honestly. Really well animated scenes with varients based on boob size and a godly amount of customization you can do with the colors of each succubus in animations.

Kinda confusing at first and seems really barebones but they put most of the effort into the anims and this isn't complete so i'll give it a pass for now. It's a fun game to plan and actually interesting for an h game, plus fappable.

I've gotta say this game does a great job of actually giving a fun card game experience. They also managed to interweave the sex elements into it very well, making the scenes a core of the gameplay. I also appreciate how some card affects like hypnosis can cause new dialogue to appear during scenes.

I highly recommend this game and I've got high hopes of what's to come for it in the future.

So the game is really good, the art is amazing and the animations do the work just right, the only problem was the mechanics (mostly cuz there wasn't a tutorial or anything) you and your enemy have 2 things Energy and Enthusiasm, Energy are your life points while Enthusiasm is like your mana for deploying stuff, the girls cost 0 but they can't attack the enemy if he has a Guardian (minion) on the battlefield, instead they will take your energy in order to create Enthusiasm, you can also buff your girls with bigger boobs, onahos, take control of the enemy girls, etc. Is pretty decent, but right now there is no progression whatsoever, you get in and play a match with the AI, you can't buy other girls or do tournaments or anything, but pretty sure it will come in the future, surely i'll keep an eye in this game.

Love the game it's like a battle fuck card game and there's animations and life points. You can enhance girls with different cards giving them bigger boobs or succubus marks and each girl have their own animations and personalities. Game has a bunch of potential and can't wait for more to be added.
