Unity - Completed - Succubus Temptation [v2.0.0] [Temptation Works]

The game itself is fairly decent, although it's relatively short.

The 2.0 update certainly helped with some additional content, but I do believe there is still room for further expansion.

If you enjoy pixel animations it's worth a shot, otherwise you might feel like your time is being wasted.

A good game, but somewhat lacking overall

1. Story: The protagonist wants to defeat succubis, why? donno, he just wants to do it. i don't care either. 3/5

2. Dialogue: I liked the bosses dialogues but personally didn't like the protagonist's because he talks too...slutty? like he seems too easy to give into pleasure, almost to the point it's not rape but consensual sex. It may be personal preference, I just thought it's a little bit off. 2.5/5

3. H-scenes and Animations: Again, it may be personal preference, I just like sex that gets into the real deal, not some pussy licking, cock sucking or boob jobs. Doesn't mean they are bad, just saying it can be lacklusting cus of too many sideplays. The overall animations can't be said that they are great, but the bosses animations were pretty good. 3.5/5

4. Gameplay: it's simple but on the other hand, can be said it's somewhat lacking in general. u can block dodge attack, and use heal potions, that's about it. no leveling or skill mechanics, which makes killing mobs is only for obtaining healing potions, otherwise it's just a nuisance. there's no treasure chest for special weapons which makes the detours unnecessary and tedious. there is a side effect that slows u down cus of erection, but that's it. I thought the mobs will perform 100% H attacks when they touch the hardened protagonist, but that wasn't the case, they do just physically attack him, which makes the h scenes less frequent. The gameplay was very short and easy, it took about 2 hours even considering the detours. It would have been nice to have various modes, like easy, intermedaite and hard mode, more frequent h attacks as well, that would also increase replayability. I don't mind u gotta choose defeat to the boss after those sweaty battles, but for those that do suck at games or do mind, a notice that u will eventually unlock those scenes in the gallery even if u don't choose defeat, would have been great. 3/5

I do compliment that there is Key Configuration that lets u play one hand on the key board and the other hand on the joystick, if one wants to play the game with more difficulty, maybe give it a try. +1 point

For a game I got from DL site for $7-ish ($10-ish full price) it's pretty alright. The Scenes and animations are amazing if not too long especially the post-boss battle scenes.

When it comes to the scenes I like them. could there be an argument about lack of variety? ye but at the end of the day it is catering to a specific taste and there's no real point in complaining that it doesn't have scenes you want specifically. Just know that if you're expecting revenge fucking maledom sex, sir this is a sea food joint if you want beef burgers go somewhere else. speaking of unwarranted complaints:

People give this game shit when at the time it didn't have a gallery mode and at the time I think it really shouldn't have been that much of a hard criticism for the game since it's a short game where the only difficult scenes to obtain in the game are the post-boss battle temptation scenes and the regular enemy temptation scenes which either requires waiting or a parry though not all enemies have a temptation scene. While annoying having to fight the bosses again to relive the scenes, the game is so easy and easy to cheese that it was rarely an issue for me.

Gameplaywise, the game's combat and mechanics are very simple with a dodge, a block, and a parry system. However, there's little to no reason to fight any of the enemies outside of the occasional potion and nut drops that are used to craft homemade potions at checkpoints. In fact it feels like the game discourages you to fight due to how boring fights are as outside of the bosses you can easily get away with stunning most of the enemies with charged attacks. Because of this it kind of devolves into a running simulator where you may stop by to enjoy a scene or two but you are ultimately dashing towards the bosses since they have the hottest scenes in the game.

The Level design pretty much enables this as deviations usually lead to dead ends with barely any traps or alternative gameovers. The game has only one alt. game over scene so you kind of wonder why is it here and why isn't there more.

EDIT: The game recently got a new content update and it's ok not much else to say about it. It introduces a new mechanic that shakes things up but since you have beaten all the content before hand you're only going to be using it at the halfway mark of the level it is introduced in and whatever new content the devs decides to surprise everyone with.

Overall it's not a bad game it's just a game that you kind of wish there was more of because what's here is either pretty awesome or very bland and shallow.

• too easy
  • underwhelming items - only items are for healing and it's plentiful so you can abuse it
  • enemies are no threat- you can run right by them, and save time to fight the bosses
    • as there's no reward for fighting enemies outside immersive viewing of animations (which at the beginning was pretty fun to do) and collecting heal pots
• traversing map:
  • even placements of checkpoints - far enough to give some challenge but not long enough to be a burden
  • running is a bit slow but maps are small
  • nothing big but i like that you can walk off cliffs for brevity sake
    • a jump key would have been nice too to further this movement

Art and Content
Very nice looking game. Some fappable stuff too

• high resolution pixel art
• isometric maps have detail to them but no interaction whatsoever (only a lever to open gate/walls)
  • houses and objects are just for show
• bouncy lush animations
  • actually very tempting displays of seduction by some of the girls - they really flaunt their assets at you heh
    • i could almost smell the sexual fumes radiating off their vivacious bodies
• some have portrait animations but very few (i think only 3 so 1 per stage)
• enemies' actions have variety - they have more than one way of attacking/tempting you
• a lot of dirty talking - speech from bosses and some of the girls (as they induce a boner out of you) are enjoyable to read
• only restraint (enemy holds you) and gameover animation
  • 2 gameover scenes per boss
• only like 1 penetration anim
• lack lustre final boss scenes and ending
  • after defeating final boss the game just goes to credits

Combat could have been more fun by having more challenging stages and building on existing mechanics as you progress.
I really enjoyed the "giving in" scenes for the 2nd stage blowjob girl and boss - the combination of the gradual build in seducing you via dialog and animation successfully tempted and teased me.

Overall there is wasted talent in the potentially fun combat, gorgeous pixel art and lewd animations and temptation oriented plot.
The game is good, just could have been great if the developers went the extra step on each of the three features above.

Despite what the past reviews of this game say. I believe this game is pretty decent as of recently playing it. It's fairly short and the controls aren't really complicated. I generally am not for the Femdom fetish but this game was enjoyable none the less. A particular few reviewers posted that they didn't care for what the player has spent for the game and it lacked some desired features yet after some time and updates the indeed added them. If they didn't care much they wouldn't have spent the time to add them. I personally believe that anyone who reviews any of the games here should have a [Pre-Completed] tag for game that they review before the game is given the completed tag and a [PostCompleted] for a more fair review to the developer. To call a game(or anything really) bad before it is even completed is just lazy and shallow. Be better guys.

Short game, cool boss fights. The rest of the game you can literally just run past it. The animations are decent, although it's tedious to see all of them plus the game doesn't have a gallery.

To sum up, the game is nice, give it a try.

At a Glance
I want to precursor this by saying that the game itself plays very slowly, but it's not to an unbearable degree. You will be walking around a lot. The pixel animations are pretty well done with a focus on oppai and paizuri scenes. Overall, I would recommend playing this, but it's nothing ground breaking.

In-Detail Review
First, the MTL really kills a lot of the immersion in a game like this. With the limited MTLing, however, the dialogue of the succubi is quite enjoyable at times and does add to the experience of the animation.

What's particularly nice about this game is the variation in attacks that the succubi have. Although this can get repetitive due to the limited amount of enemies in the game, I think the concept of having an enemy "tempt" you as per the title is quite enjoyable.

Finding some of the specific animations from characters can be quite finnicky at times, and there doesn't appear to be a defined way to see either a paizuri scene or a sex scene. It happens to be mostly random, but sometimes giving in to the "temptation" can unlock unique animations.

The bossfights and combat of the game are rudimentary at best, but if you're playing the game to intentionally get caught, I don't think the combat hinders that to a significant degree.

To summarize, for the good animations and unique style of temptation, I would recommend playing this game despite its limitations in actual gameplay itself. If you are looking for more gameplay, you're better off playing games like Succubus Affection.

Succubus Temptation isn't a great game, but it's not a fucking 1/5. A 1/5 rating should be reserved for broken messes, awful development practices, or shockingly awful games.

This game looks and plays as good as the screenshots imply. Great art and even better animations. Fun mechanics where enemies can perform lewd attacks that increase your arousal or grapple attacks to start a h-animation.

The main issue with Succubus Temptation is a lack of content. Enemies have 2-3 animations, although the criteria for actually viewing them are hard to understand. For instance,the same enemies in later levels seem to have new animations, so some experimentation is required. The game is also very breast-focused, with most animations being paizuri. I'm more of a vaginal kind of person, and while there's a bit of that, boobs are the priority, which definitely diluted the amount of enjoyable content for me. Overall variety feels low, but the enemy designs and animations remain fantastic, and probably worth playing if you like these types of games.

The action gameplay itself is almost entirely forgettable. I just ran past everything. Really. The only gameplay I really got involved in was experimenting with getting h-animations.
For bosses, I just practiced perfect guarding and managed to beat most of them without any issues.

A 5/5 version of this game would be Rignetta's Adventure in terms of content and polish. This game isn't quite there, but a cozy 3/5 makes sense to me.

The animations are fine, but for Dot animation...just fine. I was astoundingly let down by the animations in this, because each one felt so samey that it felt pointless to get more. The real issue is the gameplay, which is so slow as to be more walking-simulator than action game. It's not fun to play, the porn is mediocre, and the story is...well, probably exactly what you'd expect from a game like this.

Not worth your time if you have any other porn games to play. Maybe worth your time if you're just after something else to play. Even then, there are better choices nonetheless.

Expounding on why it's a 1; not a 2, not a 3, but a 1. This game does not care about you, your time, or your money. And neither do the devs. It wastes your time unashamedly, just as it would waste your money if you bought it. This was not a labor of love. Not something made with passion. It was made with minimal effort to gain maximum profit. The engine is an outright joke, the speed you move at exists purely to waste more of your time, and the combat is there so you think you're doing something other than wasting time and money. Is it a scam? No. Is it still just another pump and dump game to pry cash from people who buy anything with lewd content? Absolutely. 1 outta 5.
